DC 5 you get stuck! :0 (goofball result) To make it fun, if you are prepared to tear off some skin/fur (and take an injury and bruise), add +5 to your roll and take a hero point for being so determied to save kids you will also be bleeding, so that might allow you to be tracked or other issues. Spoiler The child's speech is impaired, but it does not seem to be of particularly low intelligence, given the chat. It is struggling with words, but not meaning If you want to go for a trained roll via Beginners luck or Jack of All Trades feats (requiring HP), let me know and you will get more information from DC 20.
