Second verse, same as the first!

Artificer: Bruised, 1 HP

Move Action: Move back away from Snap-Maw, trying to keep at least 30 feet between them.

Standard Action: User Create Object to re-create that coral cage around the villain.

He'll need to make a DC 19 Reflex save.  Succeed, he's fine.  Fail, and he's trapped in a Toughness 9 cage.

the kids are gonna keep working Bear-Knuckle over. (is the Obscure still active on him, BTW? If so he's blind, deaf, etc until he moves out of the area of effect, but nobody else is)

Neko tries to trick him into attacking himself with a particularly gruesome illusion

25 possibly a penalty on that, depending on how many times she's gotten him before

Owain bites him

16 probably only hits if he's flat-footed

*facepalm*
I’m sorry, AA, I completely forgot about the blinding. Luckily he hasn’t taken any attack actions yet. But unless Neko wants to drop the Obscure it’s still in effect.

Am I right it reading it that only Bear-Knuckle sees the illusions? Can he move out of its AoE?

Will save vs Neko’s illusion DC 16 (-2 for trying to get him to hurt himself): 29

Not that he needed the help. 😛

But, between the being blind and the rage Owain does manage to score a hit.

Toughness save DC23: 27 (-2 from bruises = 25)

He still manages to shrug it off though.

Just need an IC @Avenger Assembled

Next up are the Teens then Paper. All the goons have fled so they’ll get skipped.

Nightscale is gonna try and gang up against Bear-Knuckle with Owain using his rending claws to try and soften the guy a bit.

Alternate Power [9PP]: (Additional Descriptors: Rending Claws)

Drain Toughness 9 (Extra: Linked (Strength Attack)) {9PP/9PP}

To hit: 15... Unlikely, but the guy is still flat-footed right? In case it's enough the DC 24 Tou for Damages and Drain Toughness with DC 19

Snap-Maw

Attempts to feint against Artificer.

Bluff check: 11

@Dr Archeville I’m pretty sure you can beat that with a Sense Motive check. 😛

Fly-Boy

Targets Nightscale with Drain Toughness (ranged).

Ranged attack: 27

I believe that hits the dragon boy @Nerdzul Need a Fort save, DC19

TKO

Ranged attack against a distracted Paper.

Paper loses his Dex & Dodge bonuses.

Ranged attack: 18

That’s a hit on Paper

Paper Toughness save DC23: 14

That’s not good… a bruise and daze for him

Bear-Knuckle

Multi-target attack with a large improvised weapon.

Total concealment for Owain: 18

Melee attack: 24

@Avenger AssembledToughness DC29

Total concealment for Nightscale: 8

Miss

Total concealment for Shooting Star: 11

Melee attack: 16

pretty sure that’s a miss

Total concealment for older man: 9

Just misses him

I assume Neko was hanging back more then 10’ so she is out of range

Heavyweight

Not in the room… yet?

Okay, sorry about the late post, been extra stressed and tired lately. Shooting Star is just gonna punch the guy, all-out-attack max. 1d20+8 = 21, which I'm pretty sure hits! DC29 Toughness to shrug it off.

EDIT: Also, fun fact an 11 to hit normally misses, but she always all-out-attacks, so it hits: 1d20+14 = 16, so that's a fail by.... 13? The rulebook tells me that's staggered and stunned, but I'm pretty sure one of those were different on site, but I don't think I make that attack. Oh well.

EDIT 2! I still have a hero point, I thought I'd used them all trying to hit! Using it for toughness reroll! 1d20+14 = 34!!!!! Nat 20! She still smacks him!

Artificer

Bruised, Feinted by Snap-Maw; 1 HP

He is going to try using his Move Object effect to grab Snap-Maw and then throw him at TKO.

Roll to hit Snap-Maw with MO:  1d20+11: 30 [1d20=19]

Pretty sure that hits!

Now for the Grapple check: 1d20+18: 34 [1d20=16]

Not bad, not bad.

Assuming that beats Snap-Maw's opposed grapple check, here's the range attack for yeeting Snap-Maw at TKO: 1d20+11: 30 [1d20=19]

Wowza!

I believe that Snap-Maw would face a Damage equal to TKO's Toughness, and TKO would have to make a Damage save against an effect equal to Snap-Maw's Toughness, but I may be misremembering.

That definitely hits.

Opposed grapple: 25

You got him and he’s airborne. 😛

And another hit.

I couldn’t find any rules specific to hitting a villain with another villain so what you said sounds find to me.

TKO toughness save DC 25: 26

Snap-maw toughness save DC 26: 27

They both scraped by, but at least he’s on the other side of the room now.

@Avenger Assembled Owen and Neko are up

@Avenger Assembled if I’m tracking right, in the main open space Paper and Artificer are trading blows with Snap-Maw and TKO.

Fly-Boy was also in the main room making ranged attacks against whoever he could at the time. (once at Neko: missed, once at Nightscale: hit but waiting on a Fort save)

Wolf-Owain, Shooting Star, and Nightscale are in melee with Bear-Knuckle in a side office.

Neko was using illusions so I assumed she was at the office doorway-(ish) for line of sight on Bear-Knuckle, but not actually in the office proper (i.e. not in melee range)

The older man Bear-Knuckle dragged into the office is cowering in the corner behind Wolf-Owain who had gotten between him and the villain.

The two teens turned one of the walls in the office to sand and fled into the next office. They are now in the main room as well.

All the party attendees and armed goons have fled.

Neko’s cats did see one other villain leave the area prior to the heroes entering. He has not returned yet.

Okay.

Neko goes for Bear-Knuckle. She first intimidates him: 28 (standard)

She then surges and inflicts her Obscure effect on him, blinding and deafening him.

She then retreats behind cover.

One of Neko's HPs goes to Owain, who spends it to shake his dazed.

He bites again: https://orokos.com/roll/951413 25

That hits, and should inflict a DC 23 save, though the fact that Bear-Knuckle is blind, deaf, and maybe Intimidated might change the calculus there.

@Avenger Assembled Will save for the Intimidate: 14

That’s a success for Neko. I’m guessing you’re trying to demoralize.

Neko reaffirms the blindness and deafness.

Toughness save for Owain’s attack: 26 (-2 from bruise and -2 from Intimidate). = 22

Barely missed it, anther bruise for the big guy.

@Nerdzul Nightscale made his save so he felt the stab of the needle like barb but resisted the drain.

Well Nightscale is gonna double down on Bear Knuckle and try to take him out of the fight.

Draconic fury:

Strength Attack (Extras: Autofire 1 [9 ranks] ) {9PP/9PP}

He is gonna try with the autofire attack this time though, just a flurry of claws.

To hit: 15 again... So the auto fire does nothing I imagine, but if the guy is still flat-footed it's a In case it's enough the DC 24 Tou for Damages (+1 for each 2 that Luke managed to hit, but well...)
