Okay, some VP housekeeping
Veronica will have Gem 1 set for the following:
Drive + 7 ranks (up to 15 ranks) (2 of the active points (AP) using 7 of the 10 skill points);
Attack Focus: Ranged (up to 2 ranks) (1 AP);
Challenge Feat: (Simultaneous Task (Vehicle Combat)) 2 (to eliminate penalty for making an attack and performing evasive maneuvers in the same standard action) (2 AP);
Acrobatics +8 ranks (up to 15 ranks) (2 AP (using 3 extra skill points from Drive and then another 5 (leaving 3 left over);
Notice +7 ranks (up to 15) (1 AP (using 3 extra from above plus 4 more)
Gem 2 will be set to DEX (+10 DEX up to 30)
Her Cantrip VP will be set to Immunity 1: Heat.
Making a drive check for Veronica as part of the chase, she gets a 41!
Making an attack roll at one of the cars chasing her with her mystical blast, she gets a horrible 9 with a natural one, so a miss (even if the 9 might otherwise hit a car)
In case I need a separate drive check for the evasion, she gets a 29, making the DC to hit her a 29.
That's a miss, yep, but Veronica's putting distance between them!
Some attack rolls: 8 22 23 19
I'll rule that the evasion and driving roll makes one of the hits miss, so give me a DC21 TOU save from your bike at TOU+8.
Veronica's bike gets a 18, so a bit damaged.
Continuing to try to get some distance, Veronica only gets a 32 this time.
Will make another attack roll against a jeep, continuing to roll poor, getting an 11, if that does hit the car, the save DC is DC27.
Making another evasion roll: getting a 35 on the evasion check this time.
None of them can hit with that evasion roll, not from lack of trying.
Despite the damage to the bike, you start putting more distance in between, though you've started leaking fuel!
Have a Hero Point for that added complication.
Okay, one more time with all that.
Drive check for the chase, only a 27 this time, the poor rolls continue.
But she gets a 26 for the attack roll this time! DC27 toughness save for a jeep.
And she gets a 41 on the evasion check.
Jeep TOU: 21, an Injury.
None of them can hit with that evasion check, but... stuff's gonna happen IC now!
And I think it's time for some proper initiative rolls.
Veronica is, of course, free to drive past J'onn if she wants to. Plenty of space for that.

So, without an idea of who Ranger is or what side he is on, Veronica will keep trying to get away.
She gets a 38 on the drive roll for the chase.
She then gets a 45 on the evasion roll!
Back to bad attack rolls though, getting only a 10 for a miss.
That's a miss, yeah!
The bad guys continue to shoot at Veronica, but can't really hit her... and they drive past the Ranger.
You got enough fuel for two more rounds.
Space Ranger is luckily very likely to just act and deciding that the lone person will be in the right, so he activates his jetpack to give chase after Veronica and starts shooting Freeze Rays at one of the chasing jeeps: 30.
That's a crit, so DC25 Reflex Save to avoid being frozen: 14
And putting some actual numbers on pursuers, just because.

She will fire a blast at one of the guys on a motorcycle now, getting a 17 on her attack roll.
That's a hit!
DC27 TOU save: 16, which disables the bike and causes it to crash, taking out the rider!
1 round left till you run out of gas!
3 attacks vs. Veronica: 13 9 18, all miss
3 attacks vs. Space Ranger: 20 8 20, all miss
Space Ranger shoots at one of the motorcycles with another Freeze Ray: 18, that's a hit.
DC20 Reflex Save: 25, the bike avoids being frozen.

- 3x Motorcycles
-- 1x Crashed Motorcyle
-- 1x Jeep - Bound and Helpless (Frozen)
Veronica is going to use the last bit of gas to try to get a bit more space between her and the tomb raiders before ditching the bike.
Last chase roll: only gets a 27
Once off the bike she will blast at another motorcycle guy getting a 20 on the attack roll.
That's a hit.
TOU save: 12, another one down
Veronica manages to put enough distance between her and the dune gives her a moment before she can be targeted.
3 attacks vs. Space Ranger: 12 8 24
DC21 TOU save: 26
Space Ranger blasts the guy that hit him with a Laser Ray: 11
And I'll spend a HP to reroll that cus it can't get worse: 16 -> 26
Autofire and Defense beat by 10 means +5DC
DC30 TOU save from the tomb raider: 22, another minion down.
And Space Ranger lands next to Veronica.
23 - Space Ranger III - 3HP - Unharmed

- 1x Motorcycles
-- 3x Crashed Motorcyle
Okay, Veronica is going to wait for the remaining bad guys to get a bit closer, then she is going to throw up her Create Object around her and Space Ranger. She will stretch out her 12 5x5 foot cubes enough to make a large dome around the pair. It is selective, so she can allow Space Ranger to shoot back out.
The bad guys manage to catch up now that they're stranded and all unload on the Create Object.
Give me 3xDC21 TOU saves from the dome!
Space Ranger shoots a Proton Ray at one of the Jeeps: 28 hit and crit! +5 to grapple!
Grapple for Proton Ray: 41
TOU vs. DC30 from the jeep: 20
Gonna take a move action to throw the jeep at the other jeep: 17
That's a hit. DC25 TOU save for both jeeps. I'll just roll once for each jeep, if they fail the minions aboard will be knocked out:
Thrown jeep: 20 KO
Target jeep: 23 KO
- Dome: Unharmed
-- 2x Jeep - Thrown together
The dome does just fine getting 29, 28 and 30 for its toughness saves.
Talking time for both the Tomb Raiders and Space Ranger, at least for now.
@Thevshi make any knowledge rolls or the like you think is appropriate!
Going to change Veronica’s variable pools a bit:
Gem 1: Knowledge Arcane Lore +8 (up to 14 ranks (for +24 with Gem 2 change below))
Knowledge History +8 (up to 13 ranks (for +23))
Gem 2: Changing to +10 INT (for 30 total)
Arcane Lore roll: 43!
History roll: 26
Yes. Well. Yeah. That's some arcana roll.
The tablet clearly refers to your amulet and it's missing gems. While it is not a map to the missing gems, it seems like it might be a map to the maps.
The markings on the tablet and the language used seems to be younger than your actual amulet, which means it was most likely written long after the creation of the amulet. It does not seem to be any language you would normally connect with the amulet.
Of course, let me know if I overstep anything about the amulet, with those rolls, feel free to come up with any small facts that might fit with what you have in mind for it.
