"They're in this warehouse. he said. "It used to be for soda, but now there's just guns and cash and stuff." David knew the one he was talking about. No ships ever went by the place except at night. He took a thin wad of twenties out of his jacket, and tossed it to him, even though this guys was probably too scared of him to tip anyone off that he was coming.

The next night, "The Army" was walking up to the warehouse. He didn't have any time for subtlety. The gang sure didn't. Maybe waking up one night and having your world destroyed would teach them a lesson. He stopped upside of the old warehouse, and made some backup. All three Davids kicked open the door, and threw smoke bombs strategically to cover the most space. Two took out machine guns, and one a shot gun, and held their fire for a moment, treasuring the gangsters' surprise.

Pincers had grown verytired of the constant presence of gangmembers in the fens...that was his hunting ground, not theirs..but soon, they would learn..

he stood in the bottom of the gangs current hideout, a semi-abbandoned warehouse, he'd gotten in through an already open storm drain in its basement, he could hear shouting above...more enemies perhaps..a rival gang? it didnt matter, he wasnt here to fight anyone but the normal gangsters..but, if the newcommer was hostile, well, more food was always good.

Inside the warehouse, four gang members stand up from their seats around a table as they hear the three quick bangs against the door, so close that it almost sounds like one powerful hit. One of them is still sitting down, a little slower on the uptake than his friends... or maybe it's because of the girl who's still sitting on his lap. Who said that chivalry was dead?

Even so, their reactions aren't quick enough to throw back any of the grenades, which begin spewing their smoky contents all throughout the warehouse. Beneath the warehouse's main floor, Pincers can see a faint haze starting to come underneath the door, into the basement. He faintly hears someone cry out, "What was that?!" just before he hears gunshots...

The David with the shotgun put it away, and replaced it with a machine gun. They all stood and a line, and started to aim. After a few moments, they each opened fire. They started walking it forward, hoping to catch as many gangsters as possible in the hail of bullets. Then said nothing, only scowled as they held down the triggers, synchronized perfectly.

As shots start to ring out above Pincers, much faster than any semi-automatic weapon could fire, the gangsters cry out, and there's a sound like a table being overturned. Pincers can see a stairwell which leads up. There's definitely some sort of smoke coming in down the stairs, though it doesn't seem to be hot. The stairs themselves look like they're a double flight, to make up for the high ceiling in the warehouse basement. Further down in another direction, there appears to be a freight elevator, currently in the "up" position.

It's impossible to see what is going on inside the fog, and only by standing next to one another can Army's other selves see one another. They open fire, but trying to tell whether the screams are from gangsters getting riddled with bullets or gangsters afraid that they're about to be riddled with bullets is not an easy task. Soon, the answer presents itself.

There's a "whoosh" sound, and the smoke starts spiraling towards the center of the warehouse, heading up towards the ceiling and clearing out the main floor. One of the gangsters stands in the middle of it, his arms spinning at an inhuman speed. Next to him, another gangster's muscles bulge in a display that makes Arnold Schwartzenegger look like a 98-pound weakling. The table that all of the gangsters had been sitting around was overturned, and it's safe to guess that some of them are huddled behind it. Army can see one of them running straight away, presumably towards another exit. The strong one grins, his face stretching more than it should.

"Nice guns. I'll keep 'em after I pound you triplets to pieces," he says as he starts to move forwards.

One of him took out a shotgun and ran for the table. He underestimated the distance, and didn't get a chance to take any shots.

Another took out a tranquilizer gun ("The Sandman") and shot a dart at Charles Atlas. He'd seen people like him before; they could shrug off a thousand bullets, but once you got a bullseye, they were out.

The last one, the real one, kept out his machine gun. The best way to deal with people that can dodge bullets is to give 'em too many bullets to dodge. He started firing at the the fast one, spreading the shots around.

Pincers decided on taking the stairs, seeing as how they looked to be able to handle his chitinous mass easier than the elevator..

As he reached the top of the stairs, pincers discovered a small warzone, with several normal looking thugs hiding behind an over turned cardtable, with to others facing off against the unseen N.R.A spokesman, the two gang oriented supers seemed to be a muscle-bound freak, the other, a whirling man..possibly a speedster

The bulked up thug seems to slowly freeze in place as the dart has its effect. Even then, his eyes remain open as he struggles to overcome the drug. Meanwhile, though the other thug that was shot at got hit by part of the shotgun's blast, it didn't seem to do any damage. His arms slow down, and he runs over to the Army who didn't fire last round. He throws a powerful punch, but misses.

The gangster who had been running away continues to do so, getting out of Army's sight (though not Pincer's, who can see him pushing against an emergency door. He goes through, but no alarm sounds). Finally, the gangsters behind the table finally work up their nerve, shooting wildly over the table, and missing all of the Davids. One of them shouts, "They're here to kill us; kill them first!"

Pincers doesn't believe he's been detected so far, either by the people he can see, or the people he can hear shooting at them.
