Pan is gonna stunt the following effect off his Tricks array, putting him down to 5HP left:

 

Nullify Illusions 10 (Extras: General Burst Area, Duration 2 [Sustained]; Flaws: Action [Full], Range [Touch]; Feats: Progression [Area] 5, Reversible) {26/26PP} 


That should be a 2500 feet radius effect, if I got that right.

 

Can I get the results of applying that before I do an IC?

That will make the 'set' and the subsidiary characters disappear - but Danica will remain. As will, well, go ahead and post and you'll see.

Horrorshow -- who's got his Shapeshift set to Elongation 4 (50 ft.) as he rubbernecks around -- is going to try to grapple Not!Danica!

Oof!  Nat 1!

 

Okay, using my 1 HP to reroll that.

 

Melee Attack (Re-)Roll

1d20+9: 16 [1d20=7]

Ah, but because it's a re-roll, that 7 becomes a 17, so that's a 26 total!

 

Now for the Grapple check, with a +4 bonus from Elongation

1d20+17: 22 [1d20=5]

Oof, the Dice Deities are not with me tonight.

Pan tries to use his Mind Reading power at rank 10 for surface thoughts, see what the thing is thinking. Its subtle 2 and explicitely magic instead of psionic, so not easily discovered, but let's see if it works.

It's hard to tell. This isn't the same kind of mind that Eira is. But there are thoughts here - a calculating sort of menace and desire to push limits to the utmost, mixed with an honest delight that someone seems to care. You get the idea that no one has ever asked it these sorts of questions before.

I don't want to try that toughness save on a defense-shifted character, so I'll cough up a hero point to reroll; she can't do worse than an 11, which would meet the minimum DC20. That plus Evasion means no damage for Masque.

Hm, I have  a rank of Luck, so Imma spend a Hero Point for a reroll. Since I have a +9 Reflex that's a guaranteed 20, so I succeed, and avoid damage thanks to Evasion.
