I can't beat it with a Strength bonus of +3, so bye-bye! Also, that attack roll should be 26 due to the roll being only 6.

Doesn't it fade to +1 after the 3 rounds, before going out completely? Not that it could have improved much there...

:oops: You're right. It should have given you a +1 bonus on that last round of attacks, but unfortunately I doubt that it would have helped. I'll check the rolls to make sure though before processing the round. It will be out for the next action though.

Lost my defensive roll, and because I forgot to take my bruised penalty to the roll, I'm now staggered. There's not a window in this room, is there?

There may be one but it would be up the stairs and out of sight from Arrowhawk.

I'm right when I say that I recovered from my stunned condition, and hence regained defensive roll, at the end of my last turn? If not, I failed my save enough to become staggered again, and thus unconscious, and I'll edit my post to reflect that.

Yes that is correct. Your defensive roll does come back.

Um, you do realize that you made teh save, right? YOu are not stunned as the DC was 21 not 31. :)

Arrowhawk is still staggered though and can only take either a move action or a standard action.

Arrowhawk can easily reach his bow, but he needs his action to pick it up which will leave him unable to fire for another round. Below is the map again. When you put in your post to pick up the item, I'll roll the attack.

I'm glad it ended up that close a fight, it wasn't looking very good for a second there. Then again, the hero is obliged to make a comeback after a beating.

I'm glad as well. It is always nice to "fail" from time to time. Keeps the tension up with the characters. Keeps them more realistic and more like the comics.

We'll be wrapping this one up soon. Most likely in a few more posts.

Let's be fair here; he's new to the city and Foreshadow isn't exactly the most public of superheroes, why would he know what Foreshadow looks like :P

Well, I would figure Arrowhawk would have put his ears to the ground and picked up enough rumors of a guy a lot of the lowlifes feared in the area. Enough to put two and two together. Arrowhawk's a smart boy, and almost made it too. :D
