"Ha! Brilliant!" If this was Reina at her best, then she would do just fine at Claremont, as far as Pan was concerned. She had taken down the first of these armored villains, so perhaps he could manage to take down the other, as he took to the air. Glimmering Pixie Dust falling behind him, Pan flew above, making sure that they would box the crook in. No escape to above, trapped between the pair of them!

Pixie Dust glimmered in his hand for a moment, before he raised it, blowing on it. The dust seemed to disappear for a second, then appeared around the thug, quickly closing in. Sadly, he was too fast, flying straight up just as the bands closed. Well, time to try something else, then!

With one of them down, that just left the other. His blast went wide, crashing behind Aurora, which may have made Aurora squeak a little as she looked over her shoulder at the damage.

At that moment, it felt safer to be a little closer than to be across the alley from him. As he soared up in his battlesuit, Aurora dove down underneath him, She hardened the end of her scarf into a tight, firm ball and spun around, hoping to catch their assailant with it. But she gave it too much torque, and she not only missed by spun three times in the air before pulling herself into a stop, putting a hand on her forehead to try to alleviate some of her dizziness.

"H-hey!" the first thug shouted, shakily raising his blaster in the general direction of Aurora. "Leave my brother alone, ya brat!" He was clearly still affected by Aurora's attack, but still, he took his shot, sending a line blue, almost black, energy shooting towards Aurora, and missing by a mile. The blast shot straight up in the sky, causing the thug to release a loud curse.

The second let out a loud laugh at his brother's miss and raised his own blaster towards Forever Boy. "C'mon, brother! She didn't hit you that bad! This is how its done!" He took a shot. It might be better aimed, but Forever Boy was faster, easily dodging.

So, they were throwing things back and forth, but nothing seemed to stick or hit. Pan frowned. At least the villains were having as little luck as him, and Reina had managed to score a hit. Maybe try and use that? That guy did look kind of wobbly, did he not?

"That was a great shot! I mean, really! You probably managed to hit a cloud somewhere up there!"

A ball of Pixie Dust was gathering in his hands behind his back, and the moment the thug looked up, Pan threw it straight at him. The ball of glowing light grew wing as it flew around in a zig zag pattern, before finally hitting straight in the thug's chest. Sadly, to little effect.

Flushed and embarrassed, Aurora floated backwards, her scarf curling around in front of her as though to steady her as the...brothers, she guessed?...Fired shots that went wide. How much would it hurt if one hit Aurora...? She knew she was more durable, but she hadn't exactly tested it out too much.

Pan was sassing the villains like a proper hero. She should try! "Um...Nice try...Loser?" She floated still in the air, knees buckling together. Her cheeks turned real red. "...Shut up!" She raised her hand, conjured another bolt of starlight that soared mercifully on target toward to the man who'd just tried to blast her.

"GAH!" The first one shouted, as the starbolt struck him. He stood for a brief moment while the other thug watched.

"... Brother?" the second thug asked, before the first fell over, the force of the blast having been more than he could bear. "YOU BRATS!" With a burst of the jets in his boots, he flew straight towards Forever Boy throwing a punch that easily missed, passing by Pan's face.

"BRILLIANT!" Pan exclaimed, seeing no reason not to heap praise on Aurora, even as the remaining thug came flying at him. He moved, glimmer flying from him as he dodged the somewhat clumsy punch. Perhaps this not-so-gentle man was not completely adept at flying, or perhaps Pan was just that much better (a thought that quickly came to Pan, really), but in any case, the end result was the same.

A wicked grin spread over the Forever Boy's lips as he looked straight into the eyes of his attacker. "Come now, you must be able to do better than that!" Pixie Dust flowered to his right hand as he swung it, a brilliant blade of light exploding from the palm of his hand, delivering a cutting blow with enough force to cut across the thug's chest, resulting in a yelp of pain.

The bolt took the brother out, which was good, because it meant that there was one less person who was less likely to remember Aurora's flailing. Her heart pounded in her chest like a hammer as she turned her gaze up, toward where Pan was engaged in an aerial duel with the final brother. Help him...! She curled her toes and soared up to meet them, her scarf lashing whiplike at the thug.

The still standing thug was hurt. The force of Pan's last blow had been more than he had bargained for, and honestly, he was starting to see how bad the situation was getting here. There was a panic in his eyes, even as they darted towards his fallen brother. And then the other kid, the girl, came flying right at him, attacking with her scarf of all things! Her scarf! "What the #¤%&, kid?"

He had seen much in his time, but he had never been attacked by a £€$#ing scarf before.

"Ha! That is awesome!" Pan did very much like the scarf, as it lashed out towards the armored thug. It might not have hit, but the guy's annoyance was enough to make Pan let out another laugh. He was enjoying himself much more than he should in a situation like this, that much was true, but he just couldn't help himself.

"Is that all you can do? Fly around, punch and shoot a bit? Ever thought about mixing it up a bit?" He swung his sword against the thug, only barely missing as the thug flew slightly away. Oh well, all part of the dance.

This was the second time she'd tried to hit someone with her scarf and missed so bad. Was she maybe not so good at controlling it yet? Maybe...She could back off and try to take him out with another bolt, but Pan was here, and she didn't want to look like any more of a coward than she already had.

Her scarf bristling up in the air behind her, Aurora curled her hands into fists and, raising them over her head, tried to bring it down on his head.

"GAH! Would you quit it with that damn scarf!" Even if Aurora's scarf missed, it was clearly bothering the thug to have it moving around his face at whip-like speeds. He threw a rather futile punch towards Forever Boy, who simply danced around it in the air, then activated his thrusters. "Leave me alone ya brats! This job ain't worth the aggravation!" He might be flying up higher, but it did not seem like he was about to leave, with his companion still leaving in the alley. Instead, he put some distance between himself and the heroes, so he could use his blasters again.

Scarves and punches were flying all around, and Pan was just dancing around in the air, glowing glitter falling all around him. His lips had lit up into a great grin, his eyes beaming as Reina's scarf whipped at the thug once more, clearly aggravating him (that was his words, after all!)

"Nice!" he shouted in encouragement to Reina, even as the thug flew away. Pan grinned at him, Pixie Dust gathering between his hands. "You do not get to start trouble and then just run, my friend!" A brilliant winged ball of light flew forward, missing the thug, and yet, it turned around, flying back for another go!

Another miss...They might have taken one down, but this wasn't working. They couldn't just keep trading misses like this, eventually it'd turn around, and it might not be in their favor. Aurora bit down on her lip and watched as Pan's light soared past the brother...And turned around. But that could miss too! Unless...

It had taken a lot of work to narrow her starbolt into a point fine enough that it actually hit like she wanted it too. But...what if she went the other way...Her scarf twitched as Reina bit down on her lip. Worth a try...

Reina flew up and over, positioning herself so that the brother was between her and the ground, and so that Pan was not. She held out her hand, and out came a narrow beam of harmless light...Until it expanded into a violet-white flash.

"Just leave me alone! You punks aren't worth this!" he shouted back at Pan, while the glowing winged ball of light flew around him. He did his best to swat it away, much like one would with a fly, but it just seemed to zip past him. And then Aurora was above him. He looked up at her, his eyes narrowing at the glowing energy bolt in her hands, then his eyes suddenly widened.

"Oh no ya don't!" he shouted back, covering his eyes with one arm, protecting his eyes from the burst of violet-white light, then at the same time raised his other, shooting blindly at Aurora, his shots going wide and flying right past her.

Pan watched with a smile as Reina flew above. The light was brilliant, but the thug was faster. This was clearly not his first fight. Probably not his last, either. With his Pixie Blast coming back, Pan watched in anticipation, a wide grin on his lips. Oh, this would be good. It was almost there. And then, it flew right past. Pan watched, mouth slightly agape. Was this man just extremely lucky, or was he really that good? If he was that good, then someone, somewhere had to have heard of him, and yet...

"You could not hit the side of a barn with shots like that!" Pan shouted. One of his weaker attempts, and the distraction didn't seem to work, and yet... his next Pixie Blast hit true, square in the thug's face as he looked up, with a satisfying *THUD* sound. He seemed stunned for a moment, and Pan looked expectantly at Aurora. As far as he was concerned, this was her time to shine now.

Reina tried her hardest, but the flash hadn't worked quite like she'd wanted it too. But still the man kept dodging, hanging on by a thread, and the longer the fight dragged on the more likely it was something would go horribly wrong.

Maybe her worries were groundless though, because Pan hit the brother really hard, pretty weak...This was a chance, to finally end it!

Aurora took a deep breath, pulled up her scarf, its shape congealing in the air until it looked like a huge colorful fist. She threw it down at the brother with everything she had, and connected.

The thug looked up at Reina as she moved in, her scarf twisted into the shape of a fist. He seemed like he wanted to say something, but he just couldn't get the words out, his reactions still slow from the blow he had taken moments before. All he could do was watch as the fist of scarf came bearing down on him, hitting him square in the face.

Despite it all, even as he started falling from the height he had flown to, the thug could not keep a smile from his face, as he muttered a single line. "First time... knock out... scarf."

"Brilliant!" Just like the thug, he had never before seen a man knocked out with a scarf. He wanted to clap and congratulate Reina, fly up and give her a hug, but, the thug was falling, and as much as he had tried to hurt them, that was not something Pan could just allow, was it now?

At least he flew faster than the fall, catching the man and, with some difficulty, because he was heavy Pan was able to set him down on the ground, plopping him up next to his companion.

He looked up at Reina with a wide grin. "That was absolutely magnificent! Well done! Now, any idea why these two were following us? I am afraid that they are not someone that I have fought before."

It didn't really feel real, but the last brother took her blow and took it hard, plummeting to the ground. Still Reina watched, tense, sure any moment that he was going to stop playing possum and reveal the trick, but he never did. It wasn't until Pan flew down to catch him that Reina realized she had been about to let the man hit the ground.

What kind of hero would do that?! "Sorry!" She cried out, her scarf unfurling and curling around her knees. "I should have caught him..."

She slowly descended down, till she was hovering with her toes just above the ground, at eye level with Pan. "Got no idea why they'd be chasing us," her arms were wrapped around her body, but her eyes were elsewhere, and her scarf was snaking through the air toward where the brothers had left their tablet. "But maybe this can say..."

Pan immediately heard the worry and regret in Reina's voice, and frankly, he did not like it. She had no reason to be ashamed! After all, she had defeated a mighty foe. Why should she? "No reason for regret! Even if he had not been caught, he was the attacker, was he not? Even a hero cannot do everything on their own! That is what friends are for!" He winked at her through his domino mask, flashing one of his regular wide smiles.

Much like Reina, he was hovering above the ground now, a somewhat quizzical look in his eyes as he scarf moved towards the tablet, and he found himself agreeing with her. "Perhaps! Give it a try, and let us see what happens!"

Aurora's scarf dropped the tablet easily into her hands. It took a little bit of tweaking to get around the encryption, but she knew this model of tablet, and the security sucked real bad. It wasn't long before she was in. "...Huh..."

It looked like a GPS map. Without context, she'd assume that it was pointing at the tablet itself, but considering how the brothers had been staring at it, it only made sense that this was the dot they were following. "Dunno know how or why, but it looks like this is how they tracked us..."

Pan floated over by Aurora as she fiddled with the tablet. The technology in this world still amazed him. It was so different from Neverworld. Sure, they had advanced things too that would put many things here to shame, but it was not strictly technology in the sense as it was understood here, was it? No, it was magic and technology blended. Here they had planes, on Neverworld they had flying ships. Here, everyone had a telephone in hand. On Neverworld, you were lucky to find someone with messenger birds. He once heard someone called sending messages like that to be "tweeting".

"Interesting! But I wonder just what they tracked! What does the buttons do? Try pressing some of them!" Six buttons. Very interesting!

Aurora's eyes darted between Pan and the tablet, crossing her ankles in the air while she floated. She thought that maybe they should have taken it to have someone else look at it first, but... "Okay..." She picked a button at random and, one eye closed and tablet held as far away from her body as she could manage, pressed down.

The button made no sound when pressed, but it offered no resistance at all either. Still, the effect was immediate. A number of words began to appear on the screen, running rapidly over it. Pan and Reina only had a quick chance to spot the introduction text, then text rapidly scrolled by. Soon, the entire screen was filled with text overlaid on the map and the tracking device. Few things made much sense, but they would be able to spot at least one piece of information that would help in the purpose of this tool: "Tracking extraterrastrial energies".

Not that it helped much, but it was something. Maybe another button would yield a better response?
