He snickered at her comment about a budget, and then settled down to listen to what she had said about having more than one bolt hole and nodded in understanding. His dad had always had the same thought, even though he was clearly not a hero. As if echoing his thoughts she went on to tell him she wasn't an angel, at least not before she became...well whatever it was she was,"You live in Bedlam...I'd be surprised if you were innocent of all evil.
