What is your full birth name? Sigh. Corinne Hyapatia Conrad Where do you live? Claremont Academy, in Freedom City, New Jersey. Formerly Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California. How old are you? What year were you born (if applicable)? 16, April of 2001. Physical Traits What is your gender? If not applicable, please explain. Female. How would you describe your heritage? Causasian New Zealander, and Arabic, I suppose. How tall are you? Just shy of 6’3 What is your body type? Willowy. I’d say a dancer’s body. Do you have any particular weaknesses, such as allergies or physical disabilities? None really. How do you carry yourself? Are you graceful, or heavy on your feet? Can you be stealthy, do you walk with confidence? Decade of dance and gymnastics and I am pretty graceful and light on my feet. I am not sneaky. Though I tend to groove a bit when I move about, impromptu dance routines are a thing. Describe your skin, eye, and hair color. Dirty blonde hair, though I dye it and bleach it as needed. My eyes are really blue, like that bright sorta sky blue. I am smooth skin, and I don’t normally look tanned, unless I spend a lot of time outside, then I do. I guess another blessing from my dad, I don't burn . How do you wear your hair, if applicable? Do you have facial hair? Currently more in the undercut and side cut styles. But generally short. Do you consider yourself attractive? Do others? Yes and yes. Though I think my height can mess with that view. Do you have any scars, tattoos, piercings, or birthmarks? I have some moles, that counts right? Do you resemble anyone famous? Not really? Do you have a dominant hand? I am left handed. What kind of clothing do you wear? Vintage, and retro chic, I guess. love leggings. Do you wear makeup? Minimal. Unless I am on stage . What is your vocal range? Is your voice distinctive in some way? I have that smooth sort of alto, a little deep. But size, so that makes sense.. Do you have any distinctive habits, nervous tics, or mannerisms? Where did they come from, and what causes them? Do other people notice and remark on these habits? Do they annoy you or other people? Like totally. I have that west coast speech thing. Also I slouch when I am not dancing, because I am kinda huge. History Where do you come from? Los Angeles. Have you made any major moves, or do you live in your hometown? Moved from the best coast to here. Do you feel loyal to your country of citizenship? Do you consider yourself patriotic? How do you feel about the government of your country? Eh? I am not a big patriot. A place is a place is a place. How do you feel about the place you come from? California? I love it. I can see not loving it though. Where is your home town? What was/is it like? LA. It’s LA? Growing up, were most of the people you knew similar to you, or were you somehow a minority? How did that affect you? Apparently I am half Arabic. I didn’t really know until later. I look like a Caucasian, so I guess it didn’t affect me. Is there something you've always been really good at or really bad at? How has that affected your life? Dancing. My life, and aspirations revolve, or revolved, around it. Were there any traumatic experiences in your early years (death of a family member, abandonment, orphaned at an early age)? Not really? Barring my powers showing up. Briefly describe a defining moment in your childhood and how it influenced your life. Watching a presentation of the Nutcracker ballet. I wanted to do that, be like that. It was so beautiful. What stupid things did you do when you were younger? I am still young. So, I expect more. But... I snuck out of my house to go to a concern with some friends a few years ago, and got ditched. Where did you go to school? How much school did you have, and did you enjoy it? Still in school. Claremont, though hopefully Julliard. I don't have an opinion yet. My last school in LA was fun, awesome, and equal parts frustrating. Do you have any mementos of your childhood? What are they, and why did you keep them? If you have none, why not? I got Mr. Floofins. He’s cool. He is a tapdancing bear. Do I need to elaborate more beyond that? When did you decide to become a hero? Why? Did anyone influence you one way or another in the decision? I am just trying to learn my powers. Is the reason you give people for becoming a hero different than your real reason? If so, why? I am not even sure I am a hero. Do you have any deep, dark secrets in the past that may come back to haunt you? No. I guess the powers. Do you represent yourself as being different from who you really are? Why? … I don’t know. That scares me a little, the way my powers are... How they behave, it is a little worrying. If you do have these secrets, what do you fear would happen if the truth became known? How far would you go to protect those secrets? I don’t know… I guess I would end up a bit like my father? Do you have any sort of criminal record? If so, is it public knowledge? No? A parking violation. Family What are your biological parents' names? Natalie Conrad, and Amir al-Misri. Were you raised by them? If not, please explain and describe who raised you. I was raised by my mum, Natalie, and later my step-father, Harold. I never knew about Amir until later. It's the fight that actually caused this mess. What was their standing in the community? What did/do they do for a living? My mum is a popular, and known stunt woman. My dad is a producer. They’re both well known in the circles, though they don’t do too much in the community at large, I suppose. Where are your parents now? Still in LA. Did your family stay in one area or move around a lot? Stayed based in LA, they are both involved in entertainment, so they would travel for work. How did you get along with their parents? How do you get along with them now (if applicable). I love my mum and dad, there is some arguments, but nothing major. My mum is one of my best friends, but she is still my mum. My dad is great. I don’t know my father. How do your parents view you now, or how would they? I don’t know anymore. I mean, I did sort of attack my mum with my powers… they might be scared of me, or for me. I don’t know how Amir views me. Do you have any siblings? If so how many and what are their names? Describe your relationship with them. I’ve got a brother, Nicholas. He is a bit of a jerk, but he is like 12 so that’s to be expected right? What was your birth order in the family? Me and then Nick. Where are your siblings now (if applicable)? Do they have families of their own? What do they do? Still living at home. Do you stay in touch with them or have you become estranged? Yes, I email and text and talk to them all. Do you love or hate one member of the family in particular? No? Maybe eventually my father? Is any member of the family special to you in any way (perhaps, as a confidant, mentor, or arch-rival)? My mum is my confidant. Are there any black (or white) sheep in the family (including you)? If so, please explain. None? I mean my mum is sort of the black sheep from her parents, so I’ve never really interacted with them. Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor? And I want to attend Julliard. What type of person would be your ideal mate? I don’t know? Probably not a dancer or performer… I mean, I’ve met enough of them! Relationships Do you have any close friends? If so, please describe them, and how you came to be close to them. None really? Dancing and trying to get into the schools, and all that has bred little time, and rivals. I have met some people who are cool, so we might end up close. Do you have a best friend? If so, how did they become your best friend? How close are you to your best friend? I support my mum. Pretty close, but… now? If you were to go missing, who would worry about you? My family, maybe some new classmates, and probably my father? Have you lost any loves? If so, how did it happen, and what did you do? No. Do you have any bitter enemies? If so, please describe them and their history with you. Um, Julia Cassaveti. But that was because she made sure there was some problems with some of my tryouts for performances. If you have enemies, how do you think they might attempt to work against you in the future? Well we’re on different coasts now so… no? What is the worst thing someone has done to you? Julia straight slashed my tires. Where do your loyalties lie? In what order? Uhm, my family, my dreams, my… team? My classmates? I dunno how to define that. Who or what do you trust the most? Why? I’d like to say my family, because they are my family. We're close. Who or what do you despise? Why? Cruel people. I don’t feel I need to justify myself on that, people who make others hurt, for no reason. What qualities do you admire most in other people? Are these qualities you possess? Compassion and perseverance. That is it. I believe I do What qualities do you hate most in other people? Do you have any of those qualities? Cruelty, selfishness. I am neither. I mean a little thoughtless, sure, but not cruel or selfish. Do you have a secret identity? If so, who knows it? Do you hide it from people who are close to you? Why? I suppose so? I mean, I am trying to hide my identity where possible... Do you work well on teams and in groups? Are you a leader or a follower? I think I work well in teams, I do tend to be jumping in the front. Do the dance schools/academies count? If so those. I don’t have a whole like of time for anything else. Personality & Beliefs Who are your heroes? Maria Kochetkova and Pablo Picasso. My mum. Did you ever become disillusioned with former heroes or idols? If so, why and what were the circumstances? Not really? I liked painting and drawing and dancing. I like what they've done, and my mom still kicked ass when I was a baby. Do you like being a hero? If so, what is the most rewarding part? If not, what makes you keep doing it? Am I here? I don’t think I am am. I don’t know how I feel about it. s there anything that would make you give up hero work, or even switch sides? I suppose dancing, getting accepted to a dance organization. What are your short term goals (what would you like to be doing within a year)? Have my powers under control, and maybe be free What are your long term goals (what would you like to be doing twenty years from now)? Retiring from dance? Maybe become a teacher. What is your greatest fear? Why? What do you do when something triggers this fear? Losing control of my powers… Because I almost killed my mom with them, and I just… I go into shock. Is there anything you would give you life for? I guess, altruistic sacrifice. How do you feel about money and material wealth? Do you desire it or disdain it? Are you miserly with what you have, or do you like to share? Is it a mark of success, or a means to an end? I sort of have it, from my family. It exists. It’s a thing. I am not one to dwell on it overmuch. How do you generally treat others? I'd like to think well? I give everyone a chance. The world is filled with weirdos, might as well do right by all. Are you a trusting person? Has your trust ever been abused? I am trusting to a degree, I feel you have to let your trust be abused. Some other people have tried to abuse it, and I don't talk to them any more. Are you introverted (shy and withdrawn) or extroverted (outgoing)? Do you have a lot of self-confidence? I waffle between. I feel I am confident on either side of the aisle there. How do you act around attractive, available members of your preferred sex? I try to match the social context as best I can. But... I can be a bit... pushy? What are your most annoying habits? I am a bit irreverent at times, and I make non sequitur jokes that people tend to not like. Do you feel contempt for any general category of people? Who are they, and why? I try not to, people are judgemental by nature, I try not to act on stuff without ample reasoning. But cruel people. What is your favorite food? Do you prefer any particular type of food? Do you take the time to enjoy your food, or do you eat as fast as you can? Mexican! All mexican! All the time! Tacooooooooooooooos! But I love all food. What is your favorite drink (alcoholic or otherwise)? Thai iced tea. What is your favorite treat (dessert)? Pineapple sorbet. Are there any specific foodstuffs that you find disgusting or refuse to eat? Soymilk. It is just nasty. What is your favorite color? Are there any colors you dislike? All colors! But, I like red the most. I don’t dislike any. What sort of music do you like? Is there any that you hate? Anything I can dance to. A lot of chillstep, or EDM, but I do have a love for rock'n'roll. If you have a favorite scent, what is it? Eucalyptus. Do you have a favorite animal? Percival. What is your most treasured possession? Why? A set of crowbill pens. I got them for Christmas one year, and over break I just was obssessed with using them. I love the way they feel. Do you enjoy "roughing it", or do you prefer your creature comforts? Both can be fun, I tend to be a bit more city. Is there a job or a task you would absolutely refuse to do? Watch my brother? Do you consider yourself a spiritual person? If so, how do your beliefs affect your life? How important is it to you? No. Not really. My folks aren’t. Was your faith influenced or molded by anyone special? No? I guess my folks. I f you belong to a religious organization, how often do you attend? Do you have a specific place of worship, or friends within the organization? How much do you agree with the beliefs of your organization? No. Could you kill? Have you killed? I don’t know… I never… God, I don’t think I could. What circumstances led to you forming that conviction, or taking that action? I am 16, I haven't given it much thought.. I feel it’s wrong. Are there circumstances under which you believe it is permissible to kill? What are they? I don’t know… self-defense? Defense of someone else? How would you react to watching someone kill another person? Would your reaction be different if the killer was a friend or an enemy of yours? Sick. Sick. Sick. I don’t know. I don’t know at all. How would you react if something important was stolen from you? I would be upset, but it’s a thing that can happen. Ad I will move on. How would you react to public humiliation? It happens. I recover from that pretty easy, having fallen off a few stages in performances. So double down, establish eye contact, and show them that I am the alpha! How would you react if a good friend or relative were purposely or accidentally killed? Has it happened to you? It’s happen accidentally, it… was upsetting and I was sad, but I can’t change what happened, and I eventually moved on, trying to remember the person as much as possible. A friend died in a car accident. What do you consider to be the worst crime someone could commit and why? I don’t know? I think… murder, it just stops them. The victim, their future. If your life were to end in 24 hours, what five things would you do in those remaining hours? I’d dance. Just dance. Career & Training Do you have any special training in your hero skills? If so, where and how did you get it? It’s why I am at Claremont. Who taught you the most about your heroing abilities? What was your relationship with that person? Right now? No one. Do you have any particularly unusual skills? How did you acquire them? Dance and my art. I’ve practiced them every day, almost. Do you do something besides hero work for a living? Have you ever done anything else, or do you plan to? Student. What is your preferred combat style? Not being there for it? Have you ever received any awards or honours? Some youth ones for dance and some drawing/painting. What skill areas would you like most to improve in? Is there anything you can't do that you wish desperately you could? Control my powers. How do you act around people who are more skilled than you in areas you'd like to improve? Are you jealous, or do you try and learn? Learn. I am surrounded by better and more skilled dancers, and gymnasts, and painters. So I just want to learn. I want to make myself better. Lifestyle & Hobbies What is a normal day for you? How do you feel when something interrupts this routine? Wake up. Work out or dance. School. More dancing. Do some sketching later. Sleep. Eat in the middle of all those. Do you have any hobbies, or interests outside hero work? What are they, and where did you pick them up? Dancing, calligraphy, painting, drawing. Eating. So much eating. I like surfing and longboarding What do you do for fun? Dance or something art. Eat. Do you have a costume? What does it look like? I got this ugly thing that Claremont gave me, when my powers kick it I make it… nicer? How do you normally dress when not in costume? Awesomely. Retro-ish. I think someone said I look like a thrift shop blew up on me. What do you wear to bed most nights? Depends on the weather and how I am feeling. Generally a night shirt and pajama pants, or no pajama pants. Do you wear any special jewelry? What is it, and what does it look like? Nothing special. Some earrings, and rings, but nothing fancy. Do you have a special place where you keep your valuables? Not really. What's your preferred means of local travel? How about long distance? Walking, long boarding, car, I suppose Miscellaneous Have you ever made a will, or tried to make arrangements for your death? What provisions did you make? I am a teenager. If your features were to be destroyed beyond recognition, is there any other way of identifying your body? Dental records or my height? What would you like to be remembered for after your death? My dancing. I hope it inspires out to dance. Do you believe you pose a threat to the public? Why or why not? If I do not control my powers, yes. What do you perceive as your greatest strength? How I can shake it off. I am adaptable and I don’t adhere to stuff. Shake it off. What do you perceive as your greatest weakness? I don’t know? My fear, right now. I suppose. As a player, if you could, what advice would you give your character? Speak as if he/she were sitting right here in front of you. Use proper tone so they might heed your advice... Control is a thing that you need to sort out in a way that works for you. Applying the same methods in all aspects of your life is problematic.

Affiliations: Claremont. Family: Amir al-Misri, father; Natalie Conrad; mother; Harold Conrad, step-father; Nicholas Conrad, younger brother; Dalir Saleh, half-brother. Description: Age: 16 (DoB: 2001, April 1st) Apparent Age: 16. Gender: Female Ethnicity: Caucasian (British) /Arabic (Egyptian) Height: 6’2 3/4 Weight: 161 Eyes: Blue (Glowing White) Hair: Dirty Blonde, generally dyed (Various shades of oranges and pinks) Corinne takes more firmly after her mother than father, though she has his height (On her it would be described as Statuesque), and a bit of his jaw, and serious eyebrows. She is built like someone who has taken dance for many years, slender and willowy with the proper mass that came with a decade of ballet and having to be able to hold herself en pointe. Perpetually she has a crooked smile, matching teeth that were a bit crooked as well. She is, though, gorgeous and knows how to employ her beauty, even it is not her first choice. Corinne’s aesthetic tends towards ‘Hipster Bohemian,’ when outside of dance class and practice. She does have to wear glasses, however. Her hair is currently in an asymmetrical undercut style, normally bleached or dyed varying shades and colors, with patterns and notches done in the clippered hair. When she changes she restructures her clothing into a variegated colored summer dress and bare limbed, though her left leg had has a thigh high covering. A distortion effect around her median, and occasionally around the rest of her, similar to artifacting that can happen in video. Her limbs trailing off into coruscating light, that moves over her skin. Her pupils and irises turn into apertures of like, and her hair stands like a flaming crown of pinks and oranges. History: Corinne is the result of a tryst between her mother and then less famous and rich playboy Amir al-Misri. She eventually found this out, after she got upset in a normal argument with her mother, and in the process did an impromptu remodeling of the kitchen, turning it into glass. All of it. With that in mind, her mother explained some things, and reached out to Amir, and Corinne found herself in Freedom City, and Claremont. She is still dealing with all of the changes. Though she still has her art, and dancing, and been semi-normal, she hopes that will keep her grounded even as her entire world changes around her, like some sort of outward expression of her newfound powers While she knew that Harold Conrad wasn’t her biological father, she had accepted him as effectively her father, and Amir feels alien to her. Though the relationship is tentative, as their involvement with each other’s life has been nonexistent until recently. She is still strongly connected to her family and speaks to them frequently, though is less… clear on her relationship to Amir and his family and associates. She wonders if she can truly go through what is happening without issue, but that remains to be seen. Though one thing is certain, she will have an amazing ability to do art with her powers, and that prospect alone is enough to drive her to learn and refine more in her abilities. Does superheroing even look good on an art school application? Personality & Motivation: Corinne is a nice person, and apparently has inherited powers from her father. She feels obligated to figure out how to use them, and how to apply them effectively and safely. She is certainly not retiring sort, though despite a bit of occasional bubbly personal, she is still concerned to what others things of her. Outside of that, she still wants to pursue artistic endeavors, and perhaps try to juggle that and her powers. She does strive very hard in both dancing and her other media of art not just do good, but to have her work judged as good. When changed, her behavior is changed, becoming more haughty, even arrogant. Though her moral character doesn’t change. As it seems there that it an expression of being less concerned with the views of others about her. Powers & Tactics: She is still working out this whole fighting thing. Generally just uses straightforward tactics and her powers to stop people, preferring using Snare, Create Object, or Transform first to restrain/detain someone. Power Descriptions: Her powers are Mutational, and are based around the ability to manipulate matter by controlling the energetic bonds in it’s structure. It seems associated with her emotional state, tied to her id, or subconciousness and while in her Zenith form does have a different personality. Currently this is expressed through a change in herself, adopting an alternate form with different behavior, and full access to her powers. Outside of that, she has base access to change matter and react defensively to restrain others, as well as be able to walk on air as it it was solid. The change to Zenith is a violent reshaping, brilliant, her clothes turned into whatever attire she feels she should have on, which is invariably different than her normal clothes. Transform is dramatic, looking like she was digitizing the matter as she reshapes and changes the nature of it. She can also reshape matter, though strangely this can be considered the most difficult/taxing of her abilities. Create Object is still rough, though with a similar effect as she ‘draws’ in a structure, and then fills it with matter, but the shapes can be a bit crude, and she cannot pass them off as real, and the colors tend to be bright or matching something similar to her emotional state. Snare is a specific application of the above powers, quite literally altering or making matter to be purpose built. It does not have defined structure, and it seems to not really have a conscious thought process besides ‘surround them.’ Drain Toughness has pieces of matter being ripped apart and drawn back into her. Her Damage effect is an expansion of her Forcefield, creating a brilliant, swirling light and force that knocks down those inside of it. Complications: Commitments: Does have dance recitals and schoolwork. This stuff is complicated with the super power thing. The heroing thing cuts into that. Crap, you know who my dad is: He’s famous, he’s divisive. Some enemies may want to get her. She may be thrust into a limelight she does want, or have attention she doesn’t need. Fascinated: Due to her artistic personality, when infused with energy in her alternate form she is easily or distracted by flashing lights or other pretty twinkles. Grandiose: In general she needs reliant on being able to gesture to use a good bit of her powers. Being bound, or restrained will prevent her from really being able to access them in most cases. Keep Calm, Can’t Carry On: Her powers require a heightened emotional state, and If for instance under the effect of emotional control (calm), she cannot muster up energy to use her powers, particular changing to her Alternate Form. At the same token strong emotional responses, or reactions, do not empower her, and it does seem to generally inhibit her ability to be precise.. Secret Identity: Well… yeah. Warring with Herself: Her powers still frighten her and may become upset with the aftermath of them. She can become Shaken during those times.
