  2. Benny was used to the overprotectiveness of the older sibling. Though, he did the math a bit, and if Judy was a... Eh, probably means the boss just allowed it cause of reasons. This ain't a normal school after all, he thought glancing over to Pan and Danica. "Yeah, rain's not too bad." His internalized eternal optimism showing sunny on his broad, blunt features. Let it never be said that Benny was a sourpuss after all. Then, alien abduction happened, and he immediately sprinted to be closer to the team, and to pick people up and jump away if need be. The last big was a half spin as he cleared the sisters and tried to basically present his back as a target... not that his enthusiastic efforts meant much as they went elsewhere. "Ah, crud! Not again!"
  3. Benny had on a broad brimmed hat to shield out the sun, and he had stripped down out of his normal attire, wearing a t-shirt version of the outfit, without his normal Letterman's jacket, but with work gloves. And he wasn't as outgoing as the rest, or as immediately affable, he was a genial guy and didn't mind doin' his Boy Scout duty at washing the thing. He was fairly fearless in standing on the elephant, and with Pan he could get to most any spot on the the thing lickety split, and he could hold himself with those big gorilla gorilla arms. He was also danged earnest, and would cheerfully deflect inquiries, and had no issues jumping and scrambling over the big thing. He did pick up what was being thrown as the wind changed, and he frowned, before he slide down the sloping belly of the fake elephant, and did an artful, if effortless seeming flip as he dropped down, landing into a crouch and then a roll that carried him back up to his feet. "'ey yo."
  4. "Like, ya get me, or ya get Zenith." The last syllable of what Corinne said twisted and went to something unearthly, and she shrugged, as she sipped at the silky, mossy green smoothie through her straw. Actually she was slurping, noisily. "I'm honest, even if people don't like what I got to say." She shrugged and grinned, before placing her free hand in the, and with a grunt she jumped and hauled herself up into the air like it was a bunk bed, as she leaned against something shimmering in the varigated colors of sunset. "Like, everyone's got problems here. Even if everything is normal, they're teenagers. They aren't all sorted even if aren't empowered by an analogue to Sauron from Lord of the Rings." She sprawled against the shimmer, turning on her side to keep slurping at her smoothie, and to watch the rest. "Some people will be jerks, some wont. It happens. Just like everyone will think they're right. Thus far it doesn't change in college, or in my case a Conservatory. And if I can get through here, you should be able to do fine." She winked at Miurne, "Cause I was a bitch, well... probably still am."
  5. He rolled his shoulders slowly as he lifted his brows at the response to Luke's casual call out. "Well, I mean, yeah?." He frowned and rubbed at his cheek, "This ain't really... We's students so can't really do a proper showin'." He rested his hands slowly on his waist as he looked at them. Benny did not see to be the kind to really shake some rules, at least. But then they literally didn't have access to everything, so it was more a matter of prudence on his part. "But Felix is showing youse guys around." Not that he knew much more than the other teen, after all.
  6. "Alumni, thorn in the sides of Ashley, and the headmistress." The towering blonde curtsied with the sort of easy grace that inspired jealousy, she was not one to really share her powers on the intro, maybe on the outro. Or something else. Like a random attack. But she hadn't seen Judy in forever, though the skillful Social Media type that Corinne was, she was able to keep up with people with the sort of adroitness that was characteristic of Her Brand™. Something she had earned the ire of fellow students over. it was just so damned easy for her. And she hated her powers. Well what they meant for her life. The small stuff she liked, like how she had a bright green avocado smoothie in her hands between blinks as she smiled in an insouciant manner at Ms. Summers.
  7. Benny lifted his brows and he looked down at Davyd's hand hitting his bicep with a dull thunk, and he snorted a little bit, and moved his arms, resting his closed hands on his hips. "Ya ma is right Micah, youse wastin' away. Okay, who needs to help?" He was not slender, or cut, he was more beefsteak given human shape. And then he was given a shake, his expression bemused, "Thanks Mister. Ah, Shawn." He moved and set the drink inside his door on a table near it, because, he was serious regarding helping. Once relieved on his small article he was immediately setting to fretting over assisting people. He waved towards them and he nodded a little, as everything seemed in hand, though he looked at Davyd, "I do other things too Davyd, like study, read, a lot of running." He shrugged a little, which on those broad things was impressive. "Anyone need any help getting stuff from the ground floor, or the car or anythin'?" He raised his voice a little, pitching it low to get attention.
  8. Corinne arrived, she had the invite and asked ahead of time for clearance. Even if the Head Mistress did not appreciably like (really, honestly could you tell?). She gated into the meditative stone garden, scaring the one kid there, she waved a bit, "Sorry, party!" And then the super-duper tall teen was off in a run out of there, and heading towards the dorm. Now she might have tried to dash up the air to Judy's room, but honestly in doing so she'd piss off the boss, and she didn't want to really cause any more issues. So still wearing her practice attire from tonight's session, with her duffel bag over one shoulder, wearing her patched to heck and back jean jacket, though sans tutu and toe shoes, because why would she be wearing then. She arrived calamitously into the common room at the fourth floor, "Judy, oh my gawd! Why you gotta be on the top floor! Swear, next time I teleporting!" Then moving to catch sight of the Smiths, she lunged at them, her condor-like wingspan of her arms flung around them both.
  9. Benny was already settled, as a ward of the state-ish, specifically a priest in the local parish he really didn't have a home life to speak of. Well that wasn't in a timeline scoured from existence entirely that was something like sixty years ago. But, details. He saw he was was with Herod again, which worked for him, as he really got along, or at least there wasn't friction between them, and he stepped out from his room, still in the brightly colored spats and rash guard from his earlier practice, with some basketball shorts over them in a more sensible black, themed on some video game fighting thing he wasn't really sure on. Someone had tried to show him video games, and really he was just keen on the colors. It showed off the barrel chested body, and clung to tree trunk limbs. He listed by 214 for a moment, his head swivelling on a bull neck, before he his scowl-y lookin' mug split into a big smile at odds with Biff Tannen-like features as he moved towards the other guys. "Hey youse guys, how ya doin'?" He lifted a big mitt to wave at them, and made his way towards Davyd and Pan. And the others he wasn't familiar, and the big lug just dropped his hand and held it towards them, "I'm Benny D'amato."
  10. He blinked a bit, "I ain't really ta give youse the real tour, that get's shown wit orientation. Sides they ain't givin' us the keys to everythin' ta me." He laughed a little bit and he shrugged those broad shoulders. He looked like a bully, but his immediate self effacing attitude showed something else. Though there wasn't much in the way of duplicity in the kid, a nose that showed it was broken before, but that was it. "Anyways, nice to meet youse guys. Can't really speak with confidence 'bout facing off Nazis," he said it as 'nazzys', "But might be fightin' like a cybernetic gorilla Mussolini, or maybe a teerannosorus Hitler bot, or sumthin,'" he continued with a perfectly straight face as if that was completely, and perfect normal. "I dunno if we'll go wanderin' in the desert again and enter a time portal in a gave. Doesn't seem like it's an everyday sorta thing." Benny lacked the earnestness of Felix, it was way more matter of fact, his stunningly stereotypical accent and word parsing from a Jersey kid with an Italian last name gave it weight.
  11. I'd add that in the power descriptor, and maybe add like a 'Physical' descriptor to Datalink since it is a physical thing that connects to another obkjects. The best way to look at descriptors are Source/Origin and Effect. Also your idea for how to label prior to the edit is good, also, you can do "All Powers carry X/X descriptors unless otherwise noted."
  12. Clarification on Mutation powers, would you say it's biological? Also the Communication wouldn't be Sonic based, since it's Radio. As for Datalink is that using sonic stuff to communicate with the computers? Also Immunity environmental and the Super Senses 4. Actually you probably want to revise the descriptors for the Suit Mk I You can notate Quick Change's Disguise bonus in Skills, but is not required.
  13. Benny drew in a deep breath as he rocked back a bit on his heels, taking the rest of the teens in. "Shoulda already had a tour before this..." He lifted his brows, his thick New Jersey accent roughing up his words. The big lug of a kid moved his arms back and forth on his shoulders, before he pressed a palm to one and moved it in a slow circle. He was subdued compared to the rest of the kids at this school a lot of the time, but then he was also sorta just trying to work out what they heck they were doing. They were nuttier these days, it seemed. "Oh, yeah, well I am sure youse guys can all get along. Like ya met with the teachers and saw the living arrangements, right?" He thought the tour he'd gotten was standard, or standard ish, at least. But then he never really knew with these things. Just all Looney Tunes with how things moved about when you weren't payin' attention, and he felt that this whole thing was a Rickey Rodent operation half the time.
  14. The name for the Immunity Aging read that way to me, so I apologize on that. Yeah, Training serves a different function, and I'd just do Magic and Shadows (and Bludgeoning). Otherwise, Training is applicable to all powers that a character had to 'train' to utilize. For single Ranks in a Ranked Feat you don't need to put a number (just a book keeping note.) Though notation within Arrays should list how much of the total PP from the base power they are using, Example: Lariat Qualities - 20 PP Array [22 PP] BP: Whip Crack - Blast 10 {20/20 PP} AP: Close Strike - Strike 10 {10/20 PP} AP: Shadow Snatch - Snare 8 (Feats: Tether, Chokehold, Reversible, Accurate) {20/20 PP}
  15. It might be considered showing of, Benny's practicing on the grounds, but he needed space, until he wanted to ricochet and careen off walls in the gym or the training room. However, right now, he was running. Which for a guy in the shape of a refrigerator, the speed was impressive. Not flat out breaking the speed of sound, but moving at a clip that was not matching the frame. Switching it up, as he continued his wind sprints on the quad. Eventually, once he was at a place where he could take a break, he moved towards the cluster of people, dressed in shorts, a sleeveless t-shirt, and a pair of battered sneakers, his cheeks flushed, and very sweaty. as he waved at the rest of them, working to recover his breath, or at least get his legs under himself.
  16. Source and Effect are the two, rough, categories for descriptors, and should generally fulfill on each power. You can just list Magic as a Descriptor for all Powers. Training is not applicable for powers, as it is used to denote something like a Batman type punch. So Magic and Shadow for everything but your Immunity and Supersenses, where you can put in Heritage, to reflect that it is inherited magical traits.
  17. Name: Benjamin Franklin D'amato Codename: Rebound! Year: Junior Pronouns: He/him Current Intramural Team: Blue Current Roommate: Artificer/Hieronymous Reflection: He's still lost and coming to terms with everything, and trying to find his role now. Which he felt he didn't do. As such this ties into the below, where he is heaping Community Cause: Everything possible, leaning towards helping poor people, especially kids. Also an eye towards social justice matters, as that really impacted him in the return.
  18. Benny's computers kinda suck. So aid? Aid: 1d20+1 11
  19. Benny exploded up, going from his seated position to his feet planted on the back of the chair in a deep squat before he leaped off of it, and barrel through the air and to the door. Those big mitts grabbing at the doorframe, and he swung out of the room, propelling himself into the far wall, his back hitting it, and he ricocheted onto it, his sneaker clad feet with a little squeak from the rubber sole. Managing to do that without a hint of his bulk brushing against anyone. He might have been itching for something, anything. But then, he was more app to put a firecrack in a trashcan then do a dance. It could be worse, it cold be those PSA videos he had to watch growing up on the projector. Though he was beaming in preparation. "I dunno what I am chief, but ain't a senior, so I am ready to jeat.
  20. Hey all, due to reshuffling, I have another slot available here
  21. Benny was bouncing, having all kinds of twitchy, nervous energy that might be expected from someone thinner, but he was light on his toes and he smiled,, genially. Though the wattaged faded a bit, and it his expression became more serious as he received scrutiny from Erik, and his small jumps from foot to foot stopped and he planted himself. "Got me in one chief. Mean, I can tussle it up wit' most peoples, an' can go to the ground, but it ain't like I can go pro or nuffin'" He shrugged as he didn't seem to hold as much as ego as his teen meathead antics might indicate. But Benny was from a different time, and the guy who he cut his teeth on was hard nose in a way that didn't translate to the modern era.
  22. Benny rolled his eyes at the question posed and he was settling in his seat, fidgeting, because he was a fidgeter. When the natural inclination was to bounce off walls, really was anything else expected? Now he responded to the story, because the 60s era shenigans that kid edged on his simmering exuberence. "Oh, oh, is it like that time I fought those Nazi T-rexes!" He beamed bright, as somewhere in her tale he had spun his chair around to lean against the back, gripping tightly at it, almost vibrating in his seat. "I dunno 'bout that, I'm quick, but 'am more like Hepcat."
