Starshine Seeing that her previous attack had not affected the giant Omegadrone Rosalind gathered up all the energy she could, to the protest of Bracelet and dimming of her aura to almost nothing. The burst of power was an impressive flash of light, though when the smoke cleared the bot seemed completely unharmed unless it really cared about a few scratches and a ruined paint job. "Well poop!" was all she could think to say.

  3. Madame Raven Apparently, these things never ran smoothly, something she should really expect better after her years of experience. First thing first she found somewhere that looked relatively safe from the increasing water, either if Tsunami did control water she didn't want to assume that anything bad couldn't happen. "Stay safe and out of the way, we'll make sure to get you and everyone else out safely." She got out her makeshift grapple aiming for the superstructure she'd come in on original. Her plan was simple make it to the door and make sure people could get out, if the guards gave her trouble they they'd become a more immediate problem.
  4. Madam Raven Callie was trying to take in all the information that she could, whilst entering the room would be the easiest way to gather Intel that was obviously out as an option! "It could be some kind of temporal displacement or the room could be self-aware and trying to communicate with us..." she was musing to herself whilst waiting for those skilled in such areas to provide more information "Good think I can deal with six impossible things before breakfast!" she playfully shot back to Dreamer "But I agree we should do all the necessary scans before we do anything rash!"

Her wide grin suggested she really wasn't concerned about it at all "But as Charlie said Callie is perfectly fine, Callie Sen if you're curious!" She took a moment to greet both of the newcomers equally, making a note if their body language suggested any concern, she'd met quite a few people over the last few years and got her a general feeling of how she'd find people. "And I looked forward to all the interesting stories of the singer before they all get mega successful and popular!"

Mz Grue "For now I think I'll stay in this form, forewarned is four-armed after all!" she could almost imagine the added laugh track from such a cheesy joke "And just fruit juice for me I'm underage to consume any kind of alcohol!" it didn't really have an effect on her Grue metabolism, but it was the show of the thing after all. She was just as curious as this Forever boy as to why she was going to all this trouble, for someone so young she shouldn't be so cynical but she was from (as much as she knew) a species renowned for having an angle on everything they did. "I'm also curious about our audience, a desire to get under their skin if you will...!" she made a suitable gesture with all four of her arms.
  7. The Traveller No one was more surprised that she'd stayed on her feet than Sitara, but she wasn't going to waste the opportunity in the slightest. Clicking together the two parts of her power pike she spun it around in a gentle manner before with an impressive swipe she stabbed down to deliver a jolt of blaster energy. Or at least that was the plan, unfortunately, her aim was off, even against a prone target. There were probably hundreds of reasons why she'd missed, but for now, it wasn't important. Stepping back she took up a defensive stance ready to defend herself if they managed to get back up before she could strike again. "Guess as normal we're doing this the hard way!"

  9. Starshine Rosalind wasn't quite sure who the big guy (or girl) was, as far as she remembered focused on the Omega Drones and Omega himself. But it made sense that the Terminus had a whole range of drones of various sizes to deal with various problems. She guessed they should be flattered that they got such an upgrade! "This can't be good! We better get them clear of everyone that could get hurt." Flying to a point a good distance from any vulnerable targets she fired off a burst of hard light, if it didn't do any harm she could at least get their attention.

  11. Madame Raven Well straight into things! And right into the weird as well, not that she expected anything else than a mystery. She bent down to look at things, watching for a few seconds to see if there was a pattern to the changes. It wasn't quite her kind of thing, though what was normal was debatable when you became a hero, but the investigation skills weren't that different from how scientists did their work. Except for a lot more punching of mooks than your average scientists will (hopefully) experience. "Do we know how the shift affects the human body? I've seen enough dimensions already, not sure I want to be split between half a dozen at once!"

She is also a naturally cheerful person and her face is almost always lit up by one of her smiles Agnes is cursed, as she would put it, with a natural ability to look good in just about anything. When not in stage clothes, or doing business, she tends to dress in comfortable, practical clothes without much make-up. Fully repowered she's back to being 6 foot tall, something she still tends to emphasise with high platform shoes. Whilst the line between the two is fuzzier, especially with her public identity, at her full power Ms. Bright is an extenuation of Agnes's natural charms. Lit up with an inner light she takes on a timeless quality she carries herself with a more regal bearing, whilst her voice is more commanding with a musical sing-song tone. This could easily come across as superior and condescending, but Agnus's natural cheery demeanour softens this into a much friendlier attitude. So not to forget what she's been through Agnes wears the clothes she wore on the street, a pair pair of bovver boots and a blue padded jacket with the Union Jack on the back. She varies everything else though it's generally a mix of red, white and blue. Power Descriptions: When fully empowered Agnes is bathed in an aura of bright white light, which tends to expand or contract depending on both her moods and the effort required for a task. When she uses one of her light-based abilities the energies tend to concentrate around that body part, so her hand when she's throwing blast or her around her legs when in flight. Even when she is not powered up, or low on juice, she still has a faint aura around her. History: Agnes's adult life has been a series of ups and downs to rival any rollercoaster. Picked as the winner of a reality show her pop career made her forget her origins until the inevitable fall, a final hell mary caused her to become wounded and left in a coma. At that moment she bonded with an aspect of the Spirit of Britannia (the Spirit of Justice) and became Young Britannia, as well as becoming a hero she also rebuilt her career, doing more R & B-inspired music closer to her origins. She even managed a small record label, Zenith Records becoming a successful businesswoman in her own right. Then in a worldwide crisis, she sacrificed her powers to help end the event, disappearing from the world for months considered a victim of the event. She'd however been deposited back in Freedom City with only vague memories of her past life. The reborn Agnes spent some time being a street-level hero protecting her new home whilst having no home to call her own. Personality & Motivation: Agnes has a cheerful upbeat personality, but also possesses a quick wit and a wicked sense of humour. She's also fairly laid back; it takes a lot to upset Agnes and she is quick to forgive those who harm her. Her only true flaw is a tendency to speak her mind even when it would be better to keep her opinion to herself. At heart, Agnes is a good person who whilst she can come over as a little condescending, wants to do what she can to help people. Part of her is afraid that if she loses sight of this she tip back into the selfish self-centred self from the worst excessive of her Annice days. Powers & Tactics: Agnes is not a subtle fighter, her first instinct (and second etc) is to hit people when trouble starts. She's not stupid though and if something looks too big for her to just punch she'll look for other tactics, and then she can be quite devious allowing people to underestimate her until the time comes for her to strike She can however adapt rapidly to differing situations and can at times quite creative with her power pushing them to do things they've never done before. Power Descriptions: Within Agnes is a tiny piece of the Spirit of Britannia, though she's no longer connected to the spirit's past lives. With only this tiny amount of magical power, she's able to do some pretty amazing feats as a kind of pocket powerhouse. When she uses her powers it shows as a golden light that shines around her, it ranges from nothing more than a healthy glow of her toughened skin to the angry crackling energy of her punches or teleportation. She draws on the ambient magical energies of the area, commonly described as ley lines, as she limits to just a district which can sometimes drain the ambient magic for a little while. Complications: Tapped Out: Massive uses of magic in an area can drain it enough that she can't use her powers, especially the more power-hungry abilities like teleport. Very Famous: During the last few years she's become one of the most famous musical artists in the world, on par with Taylor Swift or Beyonce.   15. Madame Raven Briefly, Calie considered making light of things, joking about how she was going to help sort out his new team or start a record label (SAD Records was not an encouraging sign). But this was Charlie, he was family, so deserved to have the truth. "Well as it happens after I went looking for myself, I actually found what I was looking for! Well, at least enough answers to help narrow down the questions I still need to ask." she considered for a bit before adding "Alek's got his thing, as do the League so I'm going to get the Atom's help, Quid pro quo obviously." "Though I'll always be a Raven, so you can count on my help either for the family or that new team of yours! And there's still SAD to run now it's cleaned up and on the level..."

  17. Mz Grue With a sigh, Daphne decided that the only way to find out what was going on was to play along, but she was still going to do things her own way. She shifted her form, not to her normal Grue form but a copy of a Spigori. With one of her new extra arms, she signed the contract which brought her to the Game Station. It was easy to find the other heroes, humans had a unique mental "taste" (as did most species really), so she made her way over to introduce herself. "Hi there I'm Mz Grue! You probably haven't heard of me because I like really new, and oh and gone local right now..." her form shimmered as it briefly showed her proper Grue form "Considering everything I don't think we're here to play slots and cards all night, not sufficiently entertaining enough!" She didn't add that all she knew about playing cards was you made quips and said things like fold and all in, probably all those numbers and symbols meant something but she'd not found out quite how it all fitted together.
  18. Madame Raven Callie hadn't expected to go to origins stories this early on, but she had expected it to come up. She'd gone through a couple of different ways to explain what had happened to her, she didn't quite understand everything herself. She was a people person more than a scientist. "On my sixteenth birthday, I was brought forward from the 20th to 21st Century. On that day something should have happened that would have made me take up the mantle of the Raven!" she paused knowing that the name Raven had almost as much cache of the Centurion and his ilk "Think is the other me, who lived through everything, is still around, hence the whole secret identity thing!" she grinned a little uncomfortable, this sharing part was still new to her "And as far people can tell though I'm not from the past or from another universe, something to do with quantum realities or something!"
  19. Madame Raven "Best if you can set things off some distance away from us, if we can distract them hopefully we can avoid them." Looking towards the stairs to the trapdoor she quickly figured out how quickly they could move once things started. "I'm sure you're very stiff after all that time strapped down, let me help you about Nǎinái" she as respectfully as possible offered to help, whilst hopefully allowing Wrack to save some face. She'd never known her grandparents, for some that was for the better, but she knew how to read people which helped butter up grandparents as it was to put fear in villains.

  21. Madame Raven Seems all these kids were here for the music, as it should be, and new people weren't interesting enough to take their attention. Which was totally fair, these kids weren't terrible and she wondered if they had any original songs. So as any sensible person would she began to dance along to the music. Callie had always enjoyed dancing and had only gotten better as she had a few years to perfect the art. It was also true that part of the reason she'd practice so much was because of a few months spent with a Capoeira master in Brazil, dancing with acrobatics made fighting moves more fluid and harder for an enemy to predict. Though for now, it was all about the music and the dance.
  22. Traveller Things seemed to be going well inside the landing bay, she was impressed and a little proud that the Terran heroes were more than up to the task. And Galvanic had the brute strength that she couldn't bring to bear, well not without a quick reworking of her suit routines and that was practical right now. So it was time for a new plan, she scanned the ship and spotted an airlock close to the bridge, it was a risk but with everything else going on they might just be focused everywhere but there. "I'm going in!" she pointed to show where she was going, just in case they tried to listen in just like they had. She smiled when she saw the airlock, it was a design she'd recognised from her time in the Khanate and it had a simple override that she now used to get the airlock to cycle open. With a quick check around she stepped in and allowed the airlock to cycle open into the ship.

  25. Mz Grue Having learned an important lesson about humans she made sure it was okay before giving the twins a big friendly hug! She was interacting with real humans and superheroes at that! "Yes, I'm new! I'm Daphne Celeste and I just arrived from well out of state! I was named after my Aunt, but not the same Aunt as my Uncle here but the other side of the family, because that could get like really weird! Family are weird like that, I guess...?" somehow Daphne had managed to say all that without having to take a single breath "Sorry this is all so exciting! I've never been to any place just like this and I'm babbling aren't I?" Meanwhile, Pseudo, who was used to Daphne's manners by now, took a moment to talk to his other ward. "I have been following your progress Vueriz, and I am pleased that things have been going well! After this, I have to go back out on business, but I will make sure to return before the school holidays. If you wish you can spend that time visiting the 'house, maybe you could bring some friends to visit?"
