  1. Around the allotted time the four of them could feel a change in the air, like the feeling just before a storm. And then there was a tiny black ball of energy popped into existence, it twisted in ways that seemed almost impossible to the eye until it formed a large flat black circle that faded until it was just a shimmer in the air. Again through the portal came General Lapidern though this time she was without her rifle or helmets, her hair now hanging lose in a massive mess or curls. <â€So you have all returned, and you have not bought forces to subdue us. It is a start that we can hopefully build trust upon. If you are all ready then follow me through the portal.â€> She stood on the very edge of the area ready to return to her world.
  2. Blodeuwedd crouched down at the edges of the circle and quickly studied the Oghams making sure that this circle was what it said it was. Once she was happy on the details she took her goggles off and offered them to Subito. “The portals a circle just at your feet. As far as I understand it we all just step in and away we go.†She held out a hand and looked towards Red Stripe “You welcome to join us. Unless you’ve got something better to do?†She stood up an offered her other arm to Subito. “If you’re ready we can leave. I believe it traditional for everyone to do a little leap into the portal…â€
  3. Blodweudd blushed a little at Subito comment and did what any girl would do in the situation, she changed the subject. “She. Red Stripes a she, either that or she doesn’t mind what we call her…†Where exactly was this portal? She didn’t think that they would send her to find something she couldn’t see. Wait that was it, she was so caught up with everything she’d missed the obvious answer. Not quite feeling the cool girl that Subito thought she slipped out of her bag her goggles and put them on, there green lenses designed to detect magical energies. “Should be around here somewhere, it shouldn’t be too had to find.â€
  4. Seeing the runes made Blodeuwedd heart sink, Naudiz meant distress, it looked like she’d found the dead man switch. She pulled up the facemask and squatted down to get a better look at the runes with her goggles and also make sure Myrmidon could see what she was doing. She whispered to him not sure if his comms could be hack, despite his earlier assurances. “This mark here.†She held up the hand of the clone “It’s a rune it means distress. There using magic as there dead man switch. I’m not sure we going to be able to fool them, but I'll trust your judgment on this one.†With that she closed back down the visor and stood back up ready to follow Myrmidon on whatever plan he seemed to have. But she’d have Dyrnwyn near to hand, just in case.
  5. Blodeuwedd faced the same question she all did when talking about the Order, or at least the version she’d told the other and it was like a family to her. She quickly decided to tell as much of the truth as she could. “Well the family operates on two different path, one most technological the other the magical side. I dealt mostly with the technical so all this is still new to me. Of cause the Technical side also uses magical items, like Dyrnwyn here, and I’ve heard that the Seers Skype during some of their sessions. †She made sure to keep Red Stripe in view as they walked along. Maybe it was the thought of going home, but she was in quite a buoyant mode. “Anyway Red Strip sound much better in Welsh, Coch Sreipen, so does Ef sy'n gofyn cwestiynau gwirion.†Her tone was a little more drier than Subito but it seemed she was gently poking fun at him. “And if she didn’t like it I’m sure she’d let me know.â€
  6. Look up at Subito she gave a little smile waving her paperback around. “It’s called the Red Book of Hergest it’s one of the oldest book on Welsh myths and folktales. I’m sure it has a reference to the Afanc, that’s the old term for a Lake Monster. Its means beaver in Modern Welsh, so it’s probably a not a good idea to tell any Welsh ladies that your hunting for Afanc…†Blodeuwedd got up and brush herself down. “Our little Hawk friend is a Adar Llwch Gwin, incredibly intelligent animals, but they can be a little literal. So best not to tell them to attack anyone unless you want a face full of talons as well. She’s also knows where the portal is located.†She switched to Welsh and addressed the Hawk <â€Come on then little Red Strip finish your meal and show us where we have to go.â€>
  7. Despite herself she gave a broad grin Subito’s enthusiasm was infectious. “Well in a nutshell we’re going to Wales to subdue a Lake Monster and stop those trying to wake her.†It was delivered in her normal matter of fact manner “Meet me by the tree in about an hour.†After hanging up she looked at her new guide little Red Strip the Hawk. “If you want to grab something to eat now would be a good time. We’re all meeting up by the oak over there.†She pointed to the large Oak that seemed to have it in for Crow With all that sorted she made a dash for her dorm, not knowing if Tona was up or not she crept into the room, grabbing just Dyrnwyn and her traveling bag. Only pausing to leave Tona a note that she'd be away for a day or two she made her way back down to the ground of the Academy. Making her way over to the oak she made herself comfortable among the branches. She dug out her battered paperback copy of Red Book of Hergest. Looking for the story that involved the Afanc.
  8. She had expected to be called to help the Order at some point, it was a duty of the wielder of Dyrnwyn after all, but she’d hadn’t expected to go against a lake monster of all things. As far as she had understood it most of the countries lake Monsters had even been tamed or sedated, if one was waking up especially one like Afanc Llyn Brenig. She looked at the hawk and gave a little smile. “Do you understand English little hawk?†But who to ask along? She considered for a minute asking Tona. Not only was a capable warrior and a ranged weapon would be useful against a Afanc, but opening up a little about her own past might make Tona more likely to reveal a little of her own. But no she didn’t want to reveal the existence of the order too to many people that really left only on other person. She got out her phone and dialed the number “Subito how are things? Do you fancy another little trip? A little further this time…â€
  9. Blod's Toughness roll 1d20+8=9, ah a reroll me thinks 1d20+8=10, so with the+10 that ,barely, a Dazed and Bruise.
  10. Sorry I was probably a little to vague there  . It was more OMG someone famous like Gabriel is talking to me, I'll alter it a little so it's more obvious.
  11. “Well not in the building, more just arriving on scene. Problem is there having equipment issues, should take them long to work out where to go, what with the windows and all. You’re very good at the bluff and all Asad, but as all best playa know when to play a bluff, even with a strong hand.†The cover of boardrooms the main display slid open showing a view of the offices main server room. On the display was a man, his back to camera showing only his dreadlocked hair, and another Merge Trois. This time she was in one of the jumpsuits worn by the cleaning staff, though none of them used it to show quite as much cleavage. Her voice came out slightly tinny from the speaker. “Let me introduce my ally Camera Obscura, he’s been running electronic interference whilst recovering the file. Talking of which I’ve seen an encrypted file to Ms Van Cleefs, a sign of faith; with enough tech you should be able to find the name. And a quick distraction for the police and he’s gone.†With that all the fire alarms and the sprinklers in the building, except the two rooms they were currently in, burst into life then the man just faded from view. “And I’ll meet you up in your office.†She gave a wry smile “After all I never said the me in the boardroom was the original model…†The chair in the boardroom swung around now devoid of its previous occupant.
  12. Agnes listened carefully to the plan, her part of the plan was simple cause trouble and distract from the main plan, surrounded by such experience and knowledge she was almost afraid to say anything. But if she could help avoid bloodshed then she had to give them any advantage they had. “It’s a good plan, simple yet effective. I might be able to help getting Silver Spider inside the building though. I can Teleport, should be able to take a passenger. If you can find me a quiet room out of the way I should be able to get us in, then I can teleport out and cause some trouble.†She blushed a little at Gabriel’s welcome. Being spoken to by someone of Gabriels stature was still quite a big deal to her, she hoped she'd never become so jaded that it would “Thanks, I just hope I can be of some use here.â€
  13. Blodeuwedd had a complicated morning routine she would get up early to jog round to Ellis’s apartment to check for any mail or message. Then she would drive her car back to nearby Claremonts, before getting ready of lessons. And today was no different, except for the bird. As part of her training by her order she always tried to keep an eye out for anything unusual, anything like that could be some kind of portents. She watched them all take flight and the hawk that left behind. Now that must be some kind of message, especially as she looked to be carrying a message. Dropping down she made her way towards the bird, talking softly to it in Welsh. <â€Hello little Hawk let’s see what’s wrong with you.â€>
  14. Initiative 1d20+5=9, well someone had to roll low .
  15. Skill mastery on Notice for a total of 22 and, if needed, the same for Intimidate for a total of 24.
  16. On the lookout for trouble Blodeuwedd was only a step or two behind Mali as they reacted to the idiots harassing Tona. Quickly assessing the situation she decided on subtler methods rather than a straight up fight. It wasn't that she thought they could lose, quite the opposite, it was because she didn't want them to get thrown out of the club. As they moved she subtle changed her clothing so that her dress was now black and she was now wearing a pair of boots. She'd wished they had the time to alter her makeup, but unfortunately they'd have to make do with what they had. Arriving at the group she stepped right in front of the apparent leader. "My friend said no. Now I suggest you leave or I'm going to..." She then leant in a whispered into his ear exactly what she was going to do to him, in eye watering anatomically correct detail.
  17. “I’m not use to this level of negotiation, but I believe you negotiate from a position of strength. I have something to you need and I’ve got nothing to lose right now And if you want to threaten me with arrest.†She held out he hands as if ready to be cuffed “But if you do that you’ll never find out the information they’ve stole.†her confidence suggested she knew something that he didn't. She swung in her chair allowing her words to sink in, before breaking out into a broad grin. “Lucky for you I’m inclined to accept your bargain. Though I can’t promise I’ll keep out of your way for forever.â€
  18. After a couple of years Agnes had final tracked down one of her friends from before her 15 minutes. And after a lot of effort to convince her that she had changed they had arranged to have breakfast before she went to work. She was almost at the door of the restaurant when the news alert came in from Freedom City. She almost decided to ignore the incident, but it seemed that most of the major hitters were otherwise indisposed, and they might be able to use her talents. So she paid off the Taxi driver and called her ex-friend to say that she wouldn't be able to make it, the voice at the other end suggested that this was her final chance. With a burst of photons she arrived in Freedom City and took to air towards City Hall, and for the second time today wished she hadn't bothered. There were already a couple of heroes there all of which seemed more capable than her. And as she got closer her heart sank Asad was there, she’d though they might have had something but after one, interrupted, date he'd dropped of the radar and she hadn't seen him again. But she was here now and they could still use her help, so she took a deep breath and floated down towards the thong of heroes and police officers. “Hi there am I later to the party?â€
  19. Merge gave a sly little smile; there was no getting away from the fact that she was quite an attractive woman. Even if her dress sense was severely lacking. She made a motion and the others hers faded. “A sign of faith. So as we’re in a boardroom I suppose we’re now in negotiation?†She brushed of the main chair, where Amir normally sat, and eased herself into the chair. “Well I can see the appeal of the big seat. I can give you a promise that I won’t touch your company property again.†She seemed quite sincere in her intent.
  20. Whilst they took to the dance floor Blodeuwedd took the more prosaic route. After getting everyone there requested drinks she found a table with the best view of the entrances and exits. She then took a seat to watch her friends dance. Despite her quiet demeanor she was enjoying herself. Her general idea of fun was quiet contemplation or a good book. But she was happy to just sit there and watch her friends having fun, someone needed to be the sensible one and keep an eye out for trouble. And she was more than happy to take on the task.
  21. Okay YB going to stay with the ship and go check the lab. And as a bonus she gets fed for her troubles .
  22. tagged with er extra tagginess .
  23. Blodeuwedd tensed when Tona reacted to the bouncer, she really should have warned her that would happen, but he seemed to have a little more nonce than most of his kind. It was an amusing thought that anyone of them could probably take him down easily. She made sure to show him the correct ID, it was weird to go to any place like this as Cerys normally she ended up using her more adult cover. AS she entered the club proper, not trusting them to look after any of her stuff, she did her normal scan for exit and potential trouble spots. Only when she was satisfied did she take time to soak in the atmosphere of the place. “Well it’s no Cardiff on a Saturday night, but then again we are a little early. Just to warn you Tona this place is going to be rammed with people later and the music will get a lot louder. If it get too much let us know we can always find somewhere quieter.â€
