  1. "You've heard of me!? SWEET!" Yuki fliped off the wall and began swinging and leaping in random directions. "...you, however, I know nothing about. What's corny name have you come up with? Sandcastle? Sandy? Pebbles?" The strategy was elementary, but looks to be effective. Keep her off balance, and maybe... :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Something is hapening... :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: ...oh lord...
  2. Round 3: Leomard is KO'd. Same status as before. Yuki: While actively moving to maintain her 360 feet gap between her and Sandstone, She's going to attempt a Acrobatic Bluff (1d20+22=42) It's impossible for Sandstone to beat the roll, so the feint is successful. Sandstone is flatfooted towards her next attack. Sandstone: Sandstone goes for surge. First Standard Action she activates Growth, turning Huge. She moves 30 feet as a move action, then as her second standard, she attempts a Intimidate Check. +2 for growing from medium to huge. (1d20+19=20). ((What a sucky roll :rotfl: )) Yuki's counter-roll, DC 20... (1d20+6=18) (( Doesn't Matter. Yuki failed. :rotfl: )) So Yuki is now -2 to her attacks, checks, ANd saves. for one round. Sweet Payback. Yuki gains an HP from GM Fiat, as Sandstone is cleared of fatigue. She now has 2 overall.
  3. Yuki had no idea about this 'announcement'. Must've been made when she was in the Hedge maze. "Announcement?" She asked truthfully, willing her self to not hold her sore ribs so gingerly. They really were okay, she just needed to get her mind off the slight burning sensation and the throbbing. Her mom told her that since nothing was broken, she could move about as long as she did nothing streanuous. So much for that advice...
  4. Yuki was indeed a hypocrite. Now attention was on her and her first instrinct was to run. She hated Doctors. They had the habiot to prod your body with needles, stuff you into vats of slimt materials, force you to swallow foul tasiting pills and liquids... The thoughts of the past, her childhoo9d, brought an absolute terror to Yuki and it was quite visable in her eyes despite Colt's careful attempt at being inobtrusive. Yuki stood up straight, ignoring the pain in her ribs (her phobia gave her a second wind), and waved off the cowboys. "No doctor... I'm fine." It was strange. Even for those around her who didn't know her too well, the change in voice tone and tenseness was evident. The only person oblivious to the change was Yuki herself, who snapped back to her usual self after taking a few measured steps away from the cowboy. "...have to stand up on your own two feet, you know?" Yuki smiled and nodded her head. "Just glad nobody was seriously hurt. Can't take that for granted, you know?"
  5. Yuki was in a state of limbo here. On the onehand, she kind of liked being out of the spotlight. She could've walked away and avoided any sort of unneeded troubles. On the other hand, there was something about being ignored that was crawling under her skin like those scarab things in that mummy movie. She hated the feeling and that gave her pause while she mindlessly carressed her rib area... "People like you make me sick, you miserable insect..." "Look at you, jumping around talking like a clown, and why? To insult me? To get a cheap laugfh from onlookers who just happen to come along? And you dare to call 'ME' someone who profit off my own powers? Hypocrite. At least I'm brave enough to know that I need attention. You're in denial that you NEED your powers to live life. That's why you're behind a mask..." As Sandstone's words returned to Yuki, the thought came to her head... was she right? As Plain Jane Yuki, she was practically ignored... as Tarrantul;a, she was ogled. Okay, not ogled, but she gets alot more attention IN costume then out. The Purpose of Tarantula was to hide from the illuminati while helping people... but what if Yuki was getting addeicted? What if there truly was no life beyond Tarantula? All that would be left... was a weapon. A created one.
  6. I was really trying to put Mervyl's level upgrade on hold (mailnly to give him soe extra feats to round out his tactical mind). If this idea really kicks off, I may have to do it sooner, rather then later... And of course I'm in.
  7. Yuki, as dense and Naive as she could be sometimes, didn't think twice about how the other female didn't question HOW Yuki knew someone was going to run her over when she was behind her. Nope. Yuki still had a lot to learn about reading people. But she also had other problems. That tumble loosened the bandages under her clothes. The soreness of her ribs became uncomfortably noticeable again. Wonderful. The brief moment of pain caused her to miss what the female said to her, but that was okay. The Cowboy distracted the other female anyway. Wait... Cowboy? No way... Way. It was Colt. What were the odds? Yuki slowly climbed to her feet, feigning dizzyness (Not to bad an acting job, since she WAS in pain). "Don't mind me, I'm fine. Really..."
  8. The hedge maze wasn't much of a challenge, thanks to her spider sense. Still she purposely waited just before the end so as to not look to suspisious for exiting a minute after she entered. Now she was walking again, slightly annoyed that the three females infront of her was hogging the walk way. Yuki was about to tap one on the shoulder to excuse herself when... :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: "LOOK OUT!!!" Yuki grabbed the head female and leapt to the side, using her agility to spin her body into a crouch just behind her to keep either of them from hitting the ground... And then realizing how 'heroic' that looked, she purposely lost her balance and dumped herself and the female to the ground roughly. Ouch.
  9. What's a crisis without somesort of Web Slinger involved? Count Tarantula in. ^^
  10. :!: :!: :!: Incoming projectile... :!: :!: :!: Yuki ducked as something resemblinga bell nearly decapitated her. Okay, that was an exageration, but it still might've hurt. But now she was in a situation... Two teenagers, who were necking on a nearby bench, was looking right at her. "...woah... I never seen anyone move that fast..." "Yes you did. You saw it just now!" Yuki turned to the object on the ground. "I heard it coming a mile away. If you two wasn't necking, you would've too." Through her lie, Yuki grinned and continued walking. Her eyes then spied something from the corner of her eyes... a hedge maze. ...why not? Yuki still had time before curfew.
  11. Yuki smiled as she got off the makeshift roller coaster. She was sitting in the front of the roller coaster, yet nearly dozed off as all the other people sitting around her was screaming. Compared to web-slinging, all othe modes of transport was tame. Very tame. Something she did manage to do, while the coaster car was pulling cork screws and loops, was think. More specifically, on the robbery at the bank (where repairs were only recently finished thanks to the Free4dom league) and to her recent run-in with Sandstone. All the while, thinking on just how she can't shake the feeling that they were... linked. No Yuki.... Now isn't the time. Just have fun. Fun. Like a regular teenager. No labs. No needles or prodding. Just live life like a teen. Yuki began to walk around, looking for another ride...
  12. If I recall, I was also in on having Tarantula being part of this team... though I'll need to brainstorm on how she has a connection with unisol (they may know of her past dealings with the illuminati, perhaps?).
  13. I may have Yuki show up (secret identity, not as Tarantula). She's a teenager, what other reason is there to be at a carnival?
  14. GM POST Sandstone's body was splashed all over the alley... but she pulled herself back together in time to see this... 'Tarantula'.... climb up the wall. "...ah, I've heard of you..." Sandstone was no idiot. While Tarantula was climbing and leaping out of her range, She sent a fist flying into Leonard, knocking him heads over heels into another pile of garbage.
  15. "Annoying Insect? Please, you're too kind... call me Tarantula, all my friends do! You don't want to know what my enemies call me..." Yuki pressed her legs into a nearby wall. "Then again, I knock out most people before they can utter a syllable... so congrats in saying a full sentence!" She pressed off and her fist (with her entire body) went through the woman. Yuki managed to land onto the opposite wall without a splat. What, is she made of sand or something!? Yuki leaped off her perch and climbed further up the wall. Need a plan, yuki... you need a plan...
  16. Round 2: #1. Yuki No bruises, 1 hp #2. Sandstone No Bruises #3. Leonard, on virtue of the impossibility of surpassing Sandstone's intitve, is dead last. Sandstone begins in her particle form. Yuki's Turn: Yuki attacks... but Sandstone is immune to bludgeoning attacks in particle form. Yuki leaps up to 360 feet onto a nearby wall above Sandstone. Sandstone attacks Leonard. DC 10. (1d20+12=31). Leonard's Toughness roll (Anything less then a nat twenty is going to be brutal... DC 27 Toughness roll. (1d20=4) Leonard is KO'd
  17. GM POST Sandstone retracted her arm after her fist missed the annoying female. Slowly she shifted into her human looking form. "This is none of your concern you annoying insect. Back-off." Meanwhile Leonard was ducking behind a trash can. He watched as the woman in the skintight clothing dropped six of the men in almost a blink of an eye... but now she was facing the real reason he was terrified. That sand girl was hounding him since Motley and Bolevard street. Why can't they just leave him alone... Then he saw it... one of the mobsters dropped their pistol...
  18. ((Beginning of the actual combat rounds)) Yuki was off the wall as the other men reached for their pistols. It was the standard mobster greeting. "Okay, so maybe noone wants a hug... a kiss perhaps?" Yuki flipped over the closest mobster and spun her body around to land a sickening reverse flying kick to the back of the head of the closest one. She dropped to the ground and slid between the legs of her first target before he hit the ground. She landed another kick to another's groin. "Wow... okay, you may want to put some ice on that... She managed to roll onto her feet in a crouch, before firing a webline into the chest of another mobster and yanking him towards her so that he met her head as she stood up... No, she leapt. And as the man flipped backwards from the impact, Yuki executed a split kick to knock out his two friends who actually manged to pull out their weapons. Of course, they never had a chance to use them. "Young and dumb. Well... they don't look to young, but dumb all the same..." :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Wait a second.... why is there sand on the ground? And why is it moving... uh-oh... :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Yuki back flipped away from a giant fist that nearly rammed her into the wall. Thank goodness for her Spider-sense.

  21. "I say let him go. That could be the beginning of a brighter, happier criminal!" Yuki stayed in the shadows, watching as one of her classmates, a person she would 'never' had pegged a dealer, get trapped and was staring down the barrel of a gun. What is up with people... don't they know the damage they're doing to others and themselves...? She watched as the thug she targeted dropped to the ground like a sandbag. Speaking of a sandbag, yuki cracked her knuckles. "So... who wants a hug from auntie Tarantula?"
  22. GM Post Leonard Russell was trapped. He's been running for close to an hour... but it was no getting away from them... not with 'her' on their side. And then he crapped up and made a wrong turn down a dead-end alley. The Mob enforcers were on his heels. This fact was proven when he turned into a .45. "You truly think you can sell Max without paying the street tax, punk." Leonard couldn't speak. He was about to wet himself. "All we were told to do is rough you up and take our money. But judging that you ran away... it must mean you have squat. What you think we should do, Leo? Shooting you is so excessive... but we need to make an example of what happens when plebes like you stand above what you're worth. Tell me... what should we do?" *Thwip* *THWAK!* The web ball bounced right of his head, dropping him to the ground.

    Stonewall

There was nothing like a late evening train ride. There were many a high school teenager who spent an entire afternoon riding on the train, eiter relaxing or conversing with friends. Yukio Mishka was one of those teens, throuh she was more of the relaxing type. There was a major difference, however. While people rode in the train... Yuki rode _on_ it, sitting indian style just above the operator's car. The soothing wind was wiping her hair back, cascading her body in coolness of the evening's chill. She needed it, since, thanks to that dolt who choose to crash into downtown Freedom, she was unable to properly finish her report... and she received a deficiency notice cause of the missed assignment. "No... mom, My web-slinging is not interfereing with my studies... I'm telling you I 'did' do the work... but some cowboy crash landed his space bike and caused me to lose it..." Good god, that sounded corny. "...look, the point is, I don't need to cut down. I'm saving lives here, it's not like school is important... nonono, I didn't mean it that way..." Her stop was coming up, causing Yuki to roll back to her feet, then back flip off the train, shooting a webline to catch a nearby billboard. It was a picture of MAyor O'connor saying something unimpressive. She struck him right between the eyes. The amazing thing was, she was doing all this with one hand, her other had a cell phone pressed to her ear.. "...oh come on, you can't hold the tardiness marks against me, you know why I'm late most of the time! Well, tell that to the people I saved from that burning building... and the old lady who was almost ran over by a truck... and Rant and Rave, for get about them? ...okay, true that was in the afternoon, but still..." Yuki pulled a corkscrew plancha over a sky scraper, pulled a dead man drop down the other side, before firing another webline to another building and swung. "...wait, you're telling me that they gave me demerits!? They never told me that... I have to do what!?" Yuki almost let go of her webline prematurely. "...but... why do 'I' have be the one to do community service!? There's kids who have waaaaay more demerits then me! I..." :!::!::!::!::!::!: "HELP!!! HELP ME!" :!::!::!::!::!::!: Yuki stabbed the disconnect button as soon as she felt the familiar buzz and her head instinctively whipped towards the distant sound. She released the web line and fired another one, whiping her body around the corner... and then realised she hung-up on her own mother. Nutbunnies.
  24. Yuki nodded at the officer. "Joking? If I were joking, I would say that a cowboy went up to a horse and ask, 'Hey Fella, why the long face?' But did I say that? Nope." Yuki took offense to Jack of All Blades comment. "First off, the name's Tarantula... and I'm turning Thirteen next month, thank you very much." So far Yuki was calm. VERY calm. None of the people there knew it, but Yuki had an inside edge of knowing that the cops, behind all their bravado, had no intention of firing on them yet. This edge was called 'Spider-Senses'. She felt nothing. No danger, whatsoever. "Any way, officers, this is merely a traffic accident. Just call AAA, ask for Colt's AARP card for his insurance, and we'll be good as rain. I mean, Damage control has to do something with the Tax-payer's money, right?"
  25. "You're kidding? Charm is all you need... the other day I offered another cop a box of donuts. He gave me a free pass." The masked teen shrugged. "Besides, it's not like they could catch us. If you can give me a police officer who can shoot, climb and swing on webbing... I'd still be poor." Which was a shame... cause she'd buy another chance to get her homework. Sigh. Yuki turned to an officer who was looking at her (and the others) very strangely. "...uhm, officer... I like to report a pot hole in the intersection of %th avenue. I keep writng to the government about it and I get nada. NOW SEE WHAT HAPPENED!?"
