  1. I'm afraid not. Even though it said (10pp) I had in fact only spent 5. So all the #s added up correctly, the "10pp" was simply a misprint.
  2. Yeah the format looks better in Word Perfect. Here the format totally aligns the left side, ignoring all my spaces. I'll see if I can tidy things up a little more. As for Super-senses, I had it at 5 don't know how it jumped up to ten! At PL10 you can only have attack values at 10 without trade offs correct? Is everyone on this board obsessed with maxing out the combat values? :? Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll manage. I believe I made all necessary changes. I used the 2 points from the power loss drawback on flight to purchase 1 rank in Wall-Crawling. I figure this way ManBat can dangle from ceilings or cling eerily to walls. More of a dramatic special effect than a useful power, but...
  3. Players Name: Justin S. Power Level: 10 (155 pp) PP Unspent: 5 Characters Name: Aaron Langstrom Alternate Identity: ManBat Height: 6’0 Weight: 185lbs Hair: Body covered in gray-brown hair with black mane. Eyes: Dark Brown Description: Manbat is a monstrous humanoid bat creature. As he moves through the shadows one might mistake it for a werewolf, until it spreads its giant bat wings. Two long ears atop its head also betray his breed. His size, of about six feet, is deceptive while he is on land because he has a tendency to hunch over quite dramatically. Flying around he looks much larger due to the wing spread. Manbat wears little more than a pair of beat up denim jeans. Large clawed feet remain bare in order to snatch up unwary victims. History: Much of Aaron’s history is a bit hazy. He remembers that he was a normal human at one point. He was attending college, when one day a gang of masked men suddenly snatched him up. The next few months were filled with drug induced haze, intense pain, and suffering. As it turned out, he was one of many randomly snatched guinea pigs. Aaron remembered being constantly drugged in order to keep him from fighting or fleeing. He remembered a long seasick-filled voyage and a strange mysterious island. He remembered painful surgeries and debilitating injections by a crazed doctor. He remembered the horrible pain his body suffered as it was slowly mutated into the Manbat. Then there was the day of his escape. ManBat rested in his dirty cage like a wild animal after undergoing painful experiments meant to test his senses. In the distance her heard a series of explosions and screaming, then all the electricity to the building went out. Without hesitation he fled. He remembered flying over an island filled with dinosaurs and other strange creatures, then a few days with nothing but ocean. Two weeks later he found himself back in the States. Unable to go back to a normal life due to his appearance, he retreated to Freedom City. There he’s become a hero of the night! 4. I think I will take the advice/experience of the GM. He suggested my attack values and saves may be too low. Being KO'd every scene doesn't sound like fun. Let's go ahead and delete this character for now, till I get better acquainted with how the games around her are run. I'll be posting Manbat here soon instead.
  5. Players Name: Justin S. Power Level: 10 (150pp) Characters Name: Nathan Pane Alternate Identity: Spade Height: 6’3 Weight: 195lbs Hair: Long and brown Eyes: Green Description: Nathan is very handsome man. Tall and thin, he is your stereotypical knight in shining armor type. The ladies love him, not only because of his appearance but because he is charming to boot. He dresses in nice expensive clothes and drives around in fancy expensive sports cars. Unfortunately, due to past events he carries a certain sadness in his eyes. As Spade, he dresses in roguish renaissance-style fashion. A bandana mask hides his face. A cape flares out behind him with a dramatic touch. Leather gloves and boots give him a very highwayman or Zorro like charm. Under the old fashioned costume lies lightweight ballistics armor complete with hidden compartments. History: Nathan was interested in entertaining from a very young age. He joined a circus intent on becoming a clown, but soon discovered he had a flair for stage magic and illusions. He married young and left the circus to try and turn his stage magic into an actual profession. Despite his skills he was barely bringing in enough money to support his family. Due to the stress of finances and Nathan’s penchant for flirting with other women, his wife and child left. Divorce followed and Nathan started experiencing fits of depression. Reduced to playing con games on the streets of Vegas, Nathan’s powers of manual quickness and dexterity would soon erupt. Having cheated the wrong two thugs out of their money, he was beat up pretty badly. The thugs broke his hands leaving him with no way to earn a living. Over the next few months of physical therapy, as his hands healed, he noticed the change. His powers were subtle, but he had the wits to turn those subtle powers into quite a super phenomenon. It seemed he gained a supernatural quickness and dexterity, especially in his hands and arms. He started to hit the gym and practiced the acrobatic training the circus initially introduced him too. He would become the most amazing stage magician the world had ever seen. His physical fitness would allow him to put on a show most other stage magicians could only be jealous of. Nathan’s hard work paid off. His power-enhanced skills allowed him to pull off illusions no other magician could match. When combined with his acrobatic routines, he quickly made a name for himself. Each show he performed would pull in tens of thousands of dollars. It was time to make amends with his wife... Unfortunately, the fates had other ideas. Only weeks after him and his ex-wife started courting again there was an incident. His wife and young son, while making a routine trip to the bank were caught in the middle of a bank heist. They, along with many others, were taken as hostages. In short, the situation went bad; his ex-wife was shot and killed. His son was also shot and now rests silently in a coma. Lost and hopeless without his family, Nathan decided it was time to make yet another change. He started donning a costume and became the vigilante known as Spade. He brought his son to Freedom City in hopes that their advanced medical programs would be able to revive him. Until then, Spade would help keep such and incident from happening to any other family. 6. That's where I was trying to post it originally but I wasn't allowed post to that thread for some reason.
