  1. "The League, especially Daedalus-sama, took care of me until I could manage society. It took me months to get to a stage where I could interact with people in general, but they helped me through it. Now they've helped me get a place too. I've still got a ton of issues, at least one of which kept me from getting in touch with Dark Star before looking for you. But, I've gotten this far, I just have to keep on going." Aiko looks down for a moment at her hands, currently curling up into fists and then uncurling. Looking back up after a moment she continues. "Took up heroing a while back myself, so I see what you mean Fleur-san. It's a hazzle getting busted up, but the rewards of helping others makes it worth it. And it's another blow against what that worm Takashi made me to be." As soon as she moves onto speaking of her 'father' the gynoids voice takes on a clear edge and dark tone.
  2. Aiko was a little surprised at how quickly Fleur recognised her, but quickly figures that it's at least partially due to the light conditions making her alterations less meaningful. "Hmm, I've actually been waiting for when you would come around to this park. And I go by Aiko now, Aiko Karakuri. Helps me get some distance from... what I was." The gynoid looks straight at the green heroinne, deep gratitude evident in her eyes. "That's, part of what I wanted to tell you. I want to thank you, and your friends of course, for giving me that chance."
  3. Knowing that Fleur could be quite quick in her work Aiko shifts her attention fully from the Strawberry Panic fanfiction she'd been reading unto her surroundings. Jumping down from where she'd been nestled in the branches of one of the trees a bit of the main path the gynoid addresses the plant controller, almost tentatively so. "Ah hello, Fleur de Joie-san. May we talk?"
  4. Just in case.
  5. Aiko had come to a conclusion, she needed to personally thank at least one of the heroes who'd thwarted Otaku back in October. A simple process of elimination had decided which of the three the gynoid would make contact with. Dark Star, wholesome, compassionate and disembodied though he was had been dropped for a reason she herself recognised as quite irrational; he was male. Phantom had followed after a bit of research; she would be maddening to find under Aiko's own resources. So Fleur de Joie was the one she'd try for, and after some research she'd decided upon a course of action. That had been three weeks ago. Staking out a single seldom tended to park every single night for three weeks did seem pretty stupid from a certain perspective when she could just have gone to the League and arranged a meeting; Aiko had been in their care for months and Fleur was a member after all. But that would have been relying on external resources, and Karakuri was determined to do this on her own. So she'd toughed it out, stealthily waiting for the green haired heroine to make an appearance. And busying herself with the net while doing so.
  6. Aiko moved over and had a seat on the swivel chair in front of the computer. "" Karakuri sits there for a moment, a very brief moment, before continuing. "
  7. Aiko quietly closed the door after Faith entered, and watched as her guest took in the room. The gift does bring a brief, very brief, flicker of surprise to the blue haired girls face but it vanishes almost to quickly to spot. In its place is a smile and a look of gratitude. "" As she talks Aiko seems to progressively unwind, somewhat. Then she tightens up again, slightly. "
  8. Round 1: Toughness vs. White Knight (DC 33 & 36) (1d20+15=16, 1d20+15=24) Ergh, crap. The second fails by enough for Staggered & Stunned, but the first is a clean knockout. Gonna reroll that one. Round 1: HP reroll of toughness save (DC 33) (1d20+15(+10 for being below 10 on the die)=30) So that's a fail by 3, just a bruise. And I see BD nullifed the third attack. Now to get that IC post after all.
  9. Aiko respectfully returned the bow, it was pleasant in its own way. Admittedly part of that was because it was a private nail in the figurative eye when it came to Takashi's programming of her earlier self. "" Even as she talked the gynoid's mind was whirring away, mulling over Faith's offer of someone to talk to. By the time Karakuri got to the end of the second sentence she had reached a conclusion. "" Aiko opened the door fully and stepped aside, welcoming her guest inside.

    Meltdown (OOC)

From what I understand from the IC thread though Aiko wasn't included, at least partially due to arriving after the Scarab was already in full swing with the fly-through. Ah well, she'll just tag along after one of the others.
  11. Going with something simple, dashing forwards, surging and taking ten on a feint (DC 32) and getting up in Rave's face: Round 1: AoA 5, PA 5 Unarmed vs Rave, DC 33 toughness save if hit (1d20+12=19) That, looks like it'd be a hit, unless Rave rolls a natural twenty (or fiats) to succeed against the feint.

    Meltdown (IC)

Karakuri speaks up after remaining silent initially. "I am well versed when it comes to technology, so I believe it would be prudent of me to assist with the reactors." While her almost subconscious filing took place the gynoid actually takes the time to observe the others present, partly lamenting her own relative ignorance of the other heroes present in the city. She did tentatively identify the more verbose of the red and gold armoured ones as the Scarab, but that was about it. Then Valkyries pulled her little stunt. "Perhaps we had better move as well?"
  15. Aiko had heard the footsteps coming up the corridor, nothing unusual there. It was certainly more unusual for them to stop outside her and Ashley-san's room and politely knock. A bit intrigued the blue haired girl paused the episode she'd been watching, Mahou Shojou Lyrical Nanoha: StrikerS was worth watching more than once in her opinion. Leaving it up on the screen of her rather advanced computer, an obvious investment for someone like her, and went to get the door. After a moment, too her, the gynoid recognised the girl standing outside as she was opening the door. "Ah, how can I help you Martel-san?"
  16. Aiko may or may not be there, odds are she will be though.
  17. Alex arrived in her usual fashion, plummeting out of the sky from where she had teleported in. The dark angel slammed out her wings and went into a stable hover near Dark Star and the jetpack sporting hero. "I doubt that is going to cut it. Probably all who'd listen are going to be staying put on the inside." Casting a quick look over the heroes on the scene she asks. "Is there any kind of plan beyond 'trounce the ones who won't cooperate'?"
  18. Aiko ain't here Geez. That ought to be Monger Angel with 6HP.

    Meltdown (IC)

Lacking any actual mode of transportation other than her own two feet, Aiko Karakuri was hoofing it over to the power plant. With the power gone it meant that there was a problem either in the grid or the plant, and given how much "fun" could be had using materials from a nuclear power plant it was a fairly safe bet in the gynoid's mind that it was a question of sabotage. So she was heading there, her own technical expertise and inorganic body would be useful there at least. And with any luck she wouldn't get into such a fight that her artificial nature was revealed. Idly she the collection of flying heroes, but Karakuri didn't have time to stop and instead kept pumping her legs maintaining a steady 20 miles per hour rate of movement. It wasn't the blue haired, and blue clad, heroinne felt like stopping and trying to have a chat with a group fifty feet above her head either. Then one of the two in red and gold coloured armour descended, and seemed to speak with a young hero Coordination would be good though, so I'd better stop. And she did, pulling herself to a stop about ten feet from the two heroes on (or at least near) the ground. For the moment she stays silent, instead observing the somewhat flashy display of power. It was a bit faint to her eyes though.
  22. For once Aiko was out and about physically at night while browsing the net. Her wireless connectivity was good enough for it now, and she felt like she needed to actually do something outside the academy. The murders near that newly opened restaurant had caught her attention and the gynoid figured it was as good as any to look into. With any luck she wouldn't be the only hero on the scene so to speak, which would help (probably) to cover as many bases as possible when it came to necessary skill sets. And even if she did end up being the only one there, and in the end unable to make any headway, at least she could inspect the cuisine on offer. Artificial or not, she did have a sense of taste.

  24. Nothing to worry about, keep it calm. Best keep moving. "Very well. Hunter-san, Culdis-san." Aiko said indicating each of her two current companions. "I do believe it would be impolite to keep Summers-sama waiting much longer." The trio moves on to Mr. Summers office, a place known to every powered student at the academy. And before long they arrive. Looking over at the two students with her Karakuri asks a quick question. "Any advice before I meet with Summers-sama?"
  25. Mongrel Angel and Aiko are both up for it.
