  1. ArmyofOne is still interested, now that his duplication questions have been cleared up.
  2. Ok, I'm holding off doing much with him till I hear back from you all.
  3. Ben sits back on his balcony, looking down at the city outside the university walls, thinking back to last night, when he was patrolling the area of Lincoln. Even though it was quiet, he got a lot of satisfaction from doing so, and spent a good amount of time imagining himself with a badge. That would be an excellent thing to be, he thought to himself. Something to think about, or to do. Then an idea strikes him, Why not head downtown to see what it takes to become a cop? That would be something to ddo.
  4. Then how does this effect ArmyofOne? He was approved with PL6 minion duplicates
  5. Ok, put up Sanctis' sneak. As it is only 4 points lower and Sanctis is outside, I doubt Ned would have seen him, unless he has some kind of super-sense, but since it has been posted, I'll play along with it.
  6. Sanctis sneaks up towards the house 1d20+4=18 and looks around to ee what he can see 1d20+6=17 He is still a bit aways from the house, not really near yet.
  7. Umm, Stealth and Notice is usually an opposed roll......... Before i go on, can I get Ned's stealth roll to see if Sanctis notices him?
  8. I have not really placed ArmyofOne anywhere yet, but Lincoln sounds good to me Should I start a thread there?
  9. Edited: I dropped the morph entirely, added the feature, and added the sacrifice power feat to duplication Also I clarified which feats work on strike.
  10. Ok, I will change the attack specialization to Strike. As for morph, I want the duplicates to appear different from the base character. Should this just be a feature? I don't really care if people see through the disguise or not. The reason I took action was so I could link Duplication and Morph.
  11. Armyofone might be willing to join in, once he gets approved.........
  12. Players Name: Eyeonthemountain Power Level: 6 (90/93pps) Trade-Offs: non Unspent PP: 3 Characters Name: ArmyofOne Alternate Identity: Benjamin Witherspoon III Height: 6' 1" Weight: 180 Hair: Muddy Brown Eyes: Muddy Brown Description: Benjamin is a bit of a throwback to his eastern European ancestry, with muddy brown hair and dark eyes. With strong features, including a hawk-like nose he is a bit off the standard American blond hair and blue eyes standard, but is pretty good looking even though. He has the body of a serious athlete with a nice balance of well developed muscles in all areas. He has no piercings, and only has one tattoo, a dagger on his left waist just above where his belt would be. He still doesn’t know where he got it. His buddy Fred won’t tell him, but looks amused whenever Ben asks. Ben dresses well, and tends to wear tight muscle-enhancing shirts with a nice semi-casual slacks and jackets in off colors, mostly brown, gray and dark blue. His main flash is his wristwatch, an expensive courier watch he won at a competition. It is engraved “Ben W. 1st place Regional Championship 2006. He is almost never without it. ArmyofOne goes for darker colors mostly blues and grays, and so far changes his costume quite often, but with the same color scheme so he is not hard to identify even though the changes. With his different hair colors and facial features manifested through his power, he is really hard to identify, especially as his real face tends to hang way back out of the action. History: Ben was born 19 years ago in Massachusetts near the shore. More or less a normal boy, he exhibited no Super-power until he was 17 years old. From his youngest years he was an amazing gymnast and practiced long hours and won a lot of child’s competitions, the funds from which went into further training. His parents, Alan and Grace were old when they married and had him, an only child. (40 and 38 at his birth) and never really could keep up with him, as Ben was a veritable tornado of energy. His mother, a stay-at-home-mom was run ragged by his pace of activities, centered by gymnastics. His father, a purchasing manager at a power company, spent a lot of time with him on weekends and went to most of his tournaments and championships. He had a good family life. His Uncle John was the real breadwinner and hero of the family, which had been moderately wealthy since colonial times. Unfortunately, Alan and John hated each other, and neither was shy about showing it at any family gathering, so those got fewer and fewer as Ben grew up. John stayed in the family, and Alan and Grace were unfortunately pushed out. Ben continued into High school and then University on a full gymnastics scholarship. Winning many state contests and placing well at the national level, he is well known in his sport, but not by outsiders, many students even at his own University don’t even know they have a gymnast team. That bothers Ben sometimes, as football stars rule campus, even ones far less talented than him. Sometimes Ben wishes he was good at team sports, but he just never has been. His heroic career started when he was 17 and just about to graduate from high school. He was alone at a park at night, and heard some feminine screams coming form a stretch of bushes in the darkest part of the park near his school. When he came up, he surprised three young men attacking a fellow female student and Ben waded in, sure he could take the three of them due to his physical abilities. But that was not the case, for the three were far tougher than him, and Ben was losing the fight until a man jumped out of the bushes to help him and then a second. The three men, (Ben and his helpers) were enough to chase the three attackers away but took quite a bruising in the process, during which the victim ran away and escaped. Ben looked at his two helpers, both young men much like him, and thought they looked familiar. He went to a nearby coffee shop and talked with them for a couple of hours, and got along great with them, just like old friends. Old old friends. Ben really enjoyed talking with them, and they parted ways. Ben looked for them at school the next week, but did not find them at all. A few months later, Ben was working out in the city gym by himself, and really pushing himself, as he needed to perfect a move or two for the state Championships, which were in only three days. His coach and fellow teammates, having long gone to bed, left him in a bind. For there was a maneuver he could only do in a group of three, so he went out in the hall hoping against hope that someone was there. Well, he met a pair of young men, again a bit familiar, who were also excellent gymnasts and helped him complete his training before they walked away. This happened more and more over the next months, until it seemed like Ben was the center of an immense ever-changing crowd of men. He went to movies with them, ate out, and just BSed but finally he started to get suspicious, especially when he went by mirrors and could not really figure out who he was. Now that really freaked him out, but suddenly he realized that he was indeed all of them, and with that realization is mental link, previously unconscious, came to the fore. So a hero, ArmyofOne was born. Since becoming aware of his abilities, he has started to use them, going out at night and patrolling (thus fairly safe) areas of the town, sure that his 5 duplicates can handle most troubles that might arise. He has been successful, and he has been starting to yearn for the better times, and a bit more fame than he has managed to get thus far. As he is still a student, though, he still has a bit to wait. On two occasions so far, one of Ben’s duplicates has been killed. One by gunfire and another by being hit by a bus. In both cases Ben was unharmed by this experience. However, neither was the one he thinks of himself, the one whose appearance is his. He really doesn’t know what will happen is the ‘real’ him dies, if he will live on in one duplicate, or if that will be it, so he keeps the real him back as much as possible. (I would like him to change to another one if he dies, however.) Once his real self was injured by falling off a roof, but when his duplicates came to help, he found out that when they returned to inside him, his real self’s wounds healed miraculously, but not totally. His duplicates wounds just have no effect when he reabsorbs them. One odd part of his power is that at he duplicates do not look like him. Never. The yare all close, with one feature in common, like eye color, hairstyle, or his hooked nose, but everything else varies, sometimes wildly. Personality & Motivation: Ben is overall a pretty easygoing guy, though he can be a bit driven and a perfectionist about something he cares about. But he is not one to throw things in people’s faces, he just seems confidant he is at least average, and in many ways above everyone he meets. A bit arrogant at times. ArmyofOne is an Acrobatic star, one of the best college contenders in the country. Decent at most sports, especially single activity sports like tennis, golf and such, he has never been skiing or snowboarding out of a distinct dislike of the white stuff. His motivation is the thrill of adventure, more than anything else. He loves the thrill of danger, and huntil bad guys makes him fel like a character in a cop drama, or even a comic book. He majors in criminal studies nad is thinking seriously of becoming a cop, maybe even befroe he graduates.... 13. Is anyone else looking to team up with or post in a thread with Sanctis. The last idea is not working out.
  14. Well, this idea seems to be dying a slow death/..........................
  15. "An unusual house", Santis thinks as he approaches the house and starts to investigate it. Something tells me this might be an important step for me. But the house is cold and silent, and Sanctis has not sen anything move,,, so he continues to approach and try to discover why this house, of all the others, lacks any technology.
  16. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1518 The Thread is up.
  17. Sanctis sees no movement in the house, so he moves until only his head is above ground and moves closer, trying to get under a window. He then tries to hear if anyone is inside the house or not.
  18. It has been a few nights since Sanctis started his nightly patrols, and he has not found much of interest. Tehre is so much tech, that, to be honest, it is starting to get him down. How in the universe is he going to destroy all this tech. And the nights of wandering have served to intensify this private dread. Along the way Sanctis has caused innumerable bits of destruction, people destroying cell phones, random phone booths and even a few cars, though the aftermath of the second one, a decapitation and a true mess of blood, has gotten him to quit that, as he is not here to kill, just bring humanity back to his dark masters. Then, one night as he is over on the west side in an area called Lantern hill, he notices a blank spot in the sea of technology around him. Of course there are many such, like parks, streets and a few totally abandoned buildings that have been well stripped. But, as he comes across this certain house, something tells him it is occupied. Occupied and without lights? How interesting. Maybe there is something here. Something new, at least. And SAnctis moves a bit closer.
  19. This is tee OOC thread for Sanctis meeting up with Ned Ludd
  20. I'm Ready to go if everyone else is. I think just having Sanctis patrolling and notice a house with no tech in it at all would attract his attention. Would that be a good enough start? Of course if any gadget heroes want Sanctis to stop by when they have left all their goodies unattended at home, I would be up for that, also.
  21. Ok, question two. Can I even have Transform 8 as a PL6 character? With the limitations above?
  22. For my new character, I wantto be able to transform people into animals, but only if htey are willing. Now soemthing like this Transform People to animals (base cose 4/rank) Extra: Continuous(lasting) +1 modifier PF: Progresssion to get it up to about 200 pounds. Drawbacks: Target must be willing to be transformed Ranks 1 Total cost 10pp Now by the rules this might be the way to work it, and the cost is pretty low, about 10 pps or so, maybe even 8 )I am away from my books now) Would this be the way to handle the guy being able to change people into animals, and would I have to worry about the growth/shrinking rules for it?
