  3. "Sure. All done," she said, tossing the rest of the feed onto the ground between the sheep. She scratched the nearest lamb behind its ear and then fell in beside Lady Liberty. The legendary woman was so tall and so charismatic, she made Agnes feel like little girl standing beside her. It was a feeling that Agnes would never get over, no matter how long they knew each other. Agnes really didn't have a clue what this conversation was all about, but she had prepared herself for the worst: the Freedom League had finished evaluating her performance and had decided no to add her to the membership. Yeah, that was the most likely scenario.

    Circus Freaks

Droplet hit the car hard, and to everyone's surprise (including her own), she burst. Like a water balloon. There was no crunch, no splat, not blood and guts, just a big splash. And all that was left behind besides her swimsuit, was lots and lots of water. About 65 pounds worth.

  7. I can't speak for anyone else, but I do mind. Veiled Malice completely railroaded me. He included me in his post without asking, and he posted three times since I posted last night. He performed an action in his last post that he could not have reasonably performed in one turn (move, grab, grab, grab, move), gave me no chance to react, and did so way out of his initiative order. If we are free-forming it, then we need to make sure our posts don't hijack someone else's character without their consent. If we are playing by the rules, then we need to actually follow the rules. That's how I see it, at least. Anyway, I'm using extra effort to AP immunity to falling damage from my insubstantial.

  9. "Agnes, it means 'lamb,'" she said with a smile. Agnes put a quarter into the feed dispenser and turned the little dial. Out poured a handful of feed for the sheep. She stooped down and gently offered her hand. The sheep waddled their way over to get the free meal. Their tongues tickled her palm as they ate. "You want to try," she asked, looking up to Lady Liberty. "I've got another quarter."

  11. Lila walked forward behind Bailey, trying to hear what she was saying, but before she could reach the pair a strong gust of wind blew her off her feet. Lila hit the ground hard, and it knocked the wind out of her. As she gasped for air another strong gust sent her rolling toward the vortex. Lila screamed as best she could and flailed around for a handhold or something to stop her progress toward the vortex. She managed to get two fist fulls of grass, but it was far too little. The tufts of grass came up by the roots as Lila was sucked toward the vortex by another powerful gust.

  13. Agnes walked the entire way from the church to Liberty Park. It was cold but pleasant enough. She was really nervous about her meeting with Lady Liberty, so the walk did her some good, helped her relax. Once inside the park she found the Children's Zoo, and once there, Lady Liberty wasn't hard to spot. She walked up as the hero was watching some kids feed the lambs. Agnes stood beside her and watched too before speaking. "That's my name," she said with a laugh, pointing toward the sheep.

    The Unlikely Duo

Celestia nodded but didn't look convinced. She stretched out her wings and flew up to the top of the building where the Emissary and the woman were waiting. She landed on the ledge. As soon as she saw the women in her "tattered" condition, she was consumed with concern. "Are you okay? Do you need a doctor?" Then she spoke to the Emissary. "We should take her to the hospital or at least get her a coat or something."

    Circus Freaks

Droplet jumped over the remains of the glass tank and ran over to Dale and Darla. She peered though the big hole in the tent to see if she could see the giant elephant storming back. She could, and screamed. "HE'S COMING!" She turned to Darla. "Whatever you're gonna do, do it fast!" Droplet began trying to absorb more water from the ground to prepare to blast the elephant again, but without the element of surprise, she doubted that it would do any good this time. Darla started to jump up and down in place. "Hurry! Hurry!"

  19. Count Droplet in. She's ready to retreat. *doesn't want to get squished by evil elephant*

    Circus Freaks

Droplet didn't deliberate on this very long. The only reason she was in the circus was because the ringmaster guy had convinced that it was the only way to keep herself and her family safe. This obviously wasn't safe, not in the least. Either that monster was an intruder, in which case the circus was no protection, or that monster belonged to the circus, in which case the circus was no protection. Either way, to her mind, there was no need to stay. "Take me with you!"
