  1. It was just as Michael would lean back as a certain cat like face would sneak up behind him, moving quietly as she could, walking silently across the ground. He'd notice her presence soon enough, looking down at him with her face eerily close, "Hi Michael~" Carmen said with a smile, hovering over him. Carmen seemed rather chipper at the moment, a far cry from her usual loner self. The cat woman's journey through the forest surrounding the property and across the island had been a fun one, letting herself be free of restraints for awhile as she traversed through it at her will for a while, "Whatcha doin'."
  2. La Puma Negra As she looked down at the defeated thugs, she felt like she could take on a whole army, obviously not happy with the change of direction that their vacation had ended up. Naturally, this led to her being somewhat caught off guard when a dozen police showed aiming guns not just at the criminals but also at them as well. This was something that Carmen wasn't used to, immediately going out of her feral like state to be replaces with a rather confused look as she calmed down. It was a sort of strange feeling, utter confusion, suddenly realizing what sort of situation she was in right now. This wasn't some false Quirk reality but the real thing. The sights, the smells, nothing felt staged. Carmen was in actual danger. It was fortunate that Neko's illusion and a smoke screen came to be, letting her run off in the direction of this stranger that was helping them escape from the police. Carmen has never been a casino before and now here she was entering one to flee from the police. Not what she thought her vacation would end on.

  4. "I think it was something in school we learned, don't remember off the top of my head. A gyroscope. It measures things, though not sure what?" Puma says as she looks at it inquisitively. The young heroine had wished that she had paid far more attention in school to remember what it could do or why it'd be so important. It stunk that she didn't know really as the class to her was rather boring. If only she had. When more armed men came, Puma quickly went back into the shadows, motioning for Rot to do the same. In the dark and unlit corners of the room, it'd be hard to see Puma as her dark black coat of fur made doing so a rather hard task to spot her. La Puma Negra was excellent in doing such, "Be quiet," she whispers, putting a finger to her lips.
  5. La Puma Negra La Puma was pushing herself hard, having to cover her mouth in certain section to avoid inhaling the smoke. There was enough common sense and school teaching for such a situation to deal with. Of course, it was easier said than done as her eyes were watering, having to rely on hearing to see her way through the building as it was burning down around her. If she wasn't careful, Carmen would have some singed hair to deal with. "This way, follow me!" Carmen shouted out to the people that she had found, helping and lifting up anyone that needed help, "Is there anyone that needs help!?"
  6. La Puma Negra "You all go direct, I'll see if I can cut around, take her out from behind," Puma spoke as they began to enter the theater, immediately going through to a side door instead of through main entrance of the auditorium where Ashley likely was. Puma would shift from being on her two feet to all fours, jumping over silently and quietly through the debris of the theater's offices and back rooms. The young heroine had a mission, and she was going to fulfill it, going on the hunt now as she went right into her instinctual tendencies. It would take her a bit of time to do so as the building was in a relatively bad state of repair, reminding herself of the bad conditions that she had dealt with in an old church that cost her a whole uniform by the end of the evening, having to trash it for another at her own expense. She'd eventually get up above Ashley, or whatever she was calling herself, up on the rafters and looking down to her, "There you are..." she spoke with a whisper, black fur hiding her away in the dark, unseen to her knowledge, watching and waiting for a time to strike. Only her eyes seen through the darkness, just barely. As soon as she was distracted, La Puma Negra would strike.
  7. 37 on the roll for stealth. Puma is gonna break off and try to sneak up on Dragon Star, make her way through the theater without being seen while her compatriots distract if that's ok.
  8. La Puma Negra Growing increasingly upset that her vacation was being ruined, even if it had technically ended already since they were traveling home, Carmen decided that the best medicine was to use the criminals robbing the bank to let out all that pent up anger on them. Without even blinking she had dashed out towards them, aiming for two of them with that were standing rather close to one another. It'd be a massive surprise for the two of them as she dashed right in, smashing one in the face with a fist aimed true and the other getting a kick to the legs to sweep them right off their feet. Another would follow with a knee to the stomach on the standing one. It was the usual with her, incorporating much of the gymnastic skill that she had learned in school. Not that it mattered, as she roared out a bit in anger. "Come on. ¡Vete pa’l cará!"
  9. 29 for the roll, means Puma go likely after Time Out. I'm for whatever ya'll want Puma to do.
  10. La Puma Negra Carmen rolled her eyes at Buzz's show of skill, finding it rather unnecessary as she carried only a backpack and her varsity jacket tied around her waist. As some form of cat creature or werecat. One far older teacher had even called her a werewoman, but didn't understand at all what he meant by that in English. Carmen was surprised that he had even got anything out of it considering what she knew about him and witnessed, adjusting her cream-colored sun hat on her head. The young heroine had chosen to go relatively light. Jean shorts and a yellow T-shirt that she had spare to wear. Having black fur meant that dealing with the head would be a lot hard, making sure that she carried extra water in her backpack she wore. The oddity was the old red tennis shoes she wore, Carmen not liking the rather intense heat that would likely make it hard to walk around, especially in jagged areas of rock baked in the harsh sun's heat. It was far hotter than any day she had dealt with out in the Carribean temperatures of Puerto Rico. "Carmen Arrache," she spoke in a short and prompt manner.
  11. La Puma Negra Carmen was just about to hold on to Michael's hand when they all went through the portal to go home, but suddenly, out of nowhere they were... somewhere. It was all of a sudden and fast, shaking up Carmen's senses but not too much. Whatever it was it didn't take them back to Claremont, Carmen stumbling partially as she realized this. Michael was no longer there next to her, along with any bags that she was holding as well. They were completely missing altogether along with many other fellow students and their belongings. Both of these things combined made her own edge and on guard. Wherever they all were, it was hard to see where any one was, not feeling like any of this was right at all. The big statue of whomever it was, as Carmen only knew it by its appearance, was utterly gone, and the skyline was similar if not different. Many of the more modern buildings were gone, as if they had leaped through time. It wasn't right, it didn't feel right, keeping herself on guard as she readied herself of what would come next. "This isn't good."
  12. La Puma Negra Carmen rolled her eyes at Consuelo. She may be what one could call a friend to her, but it still didn't stop her demeanor at times as she got off the wall, arms still crossed. Sure, she likely shouldn't have struck the first blow in the fight, but she was a person of impulse, "They try to make moves Rot they'll have me to fear. I took two of em on before, I can probably take three of them next," she spoke. It was almost like she was spoiling for a fight against them, like whatever sort of instincts she had telling to her do so. After a going back quickly to change in the restroom, Carmen was dress in the typical attire of her person La Puma Negra, standing ready to enter the portal, "I'll behave this time."
  13. La Puma Negra The smoke was something that was going to be irritating for her as time went on, trying to keep herself as low to ground as she could to avoid breathing it all in. As she explored the first floor, she could easily find the two behind the counter, sliding over it to the other side and seeing them both on the ground. There were only a few things that she could think of at the moment in how to help them, not knowing too much about first aid outside the basics they teach you in school growing up. Instead, she'd go with the first option she had, grabbing both and putting them on her shoulders, using her super strength to do so as she went through the same busted window once more, carrying both of them. Once outside, she'd run a distance away, placing the both of them in a safe place away, quickly calling for bystanders to watch them as she runs back in, looking up again at that stranger. It seemed like the white haired being was speaking with someone now, not feeling like it was going pleasantly as she drove back in, continuing her search through the building. There was no time to confront them right now.
  14. La Puma Negra Puma looked up towards the strange being, confused at what they were doing. Tapered ears and long white hair, unsure of what they were but unable to dwell on it for any longer as the two of them were heading right towards a burning building no doubt filled with people in need of help. Golden Star would get the top to the bottom while she worked her way from the bottom to the top. Sure, it was already affecting her senses, smelling the cruel burning smoke of the building, the chemical reactions of the burning material. "Meet you in the middle, if there is one still!" Puma says to him, giving him a look before dashing in through the nearest opening, "Then we'll deal with the white haired guy."
  15. La Puma Negra Puma was still in her gym clothes after getting off from her session with the gymnastics team. While not the typically sociable type, her time at Claremont had given her more socially available periods of discovery, able to relax her sort of loner persona and get used to the company of many others around her. Certain others had even become friends of a sort such as Consuelo, and others even closer with Michael. However, during a recent visit to the Aquarium this sort of comradery with her fellow students was tested as they faced a group of literal magical girls in a rather rough brawl. Puma, as the upperclassman however, showed what it meant to be one, easily dealing with two of them at the same time without seemingly breaking a sweat, now listening in to one of the very girls that she had fought from before. "It sounds like we need to go straight for the head, take out the source or else we might not be able to stop it, finish it once and for all," she says, leaning back on a wall, arms crossed. She wasn't trusting of any of these so-called Star Blights, keeping herself at the ready.
  16. 31 On the the Notice check. La Puma does not have Mastery.
  17. La Puma Negra Carmen had explored a decent chunk of the island by the time she was finished, having seen much of the sites after being stopped by a certain member of the Freedom League to check in on them. When Michael would see her next, she was absolutely so overjoyed, that even catching the scent of Neko nearby wasn't enough to spoil her day. A weight was lifted partially off her shoulders in a figurative manner, allowed to run free from it for a good amount of time. So, when they had walked together, she would hold his hand softly, fully relaxed once they reached the bonfire and of course, holding the bowled filled with crackers and chocolate. Upon her return, she'd mostly talk about all the things that she saw around the island. A few birds that she had seen fly through the canopy, and the more mountainous areas that gave her such impressive sights as she held the bowl. Sure, it wasn't something she'd wanted to do, but the three days they had been together had been rather nice, even if their first date was in fact the two of them dealing with whatever sort of act of villainy that was going on that forced them to go out and save the day. So, when she heard Lawrence talk about this cosmic timeline sort of issue, her ears perked up as she sat close to Michael. Whatever sort of universe that was sounded like a problem.
  18. La Puma Negra There was a sense of relief as Megan answered Carmen, relaxing herself once again after posing her rather serious question. A weight was off her shoulders now and she could start getting a hold of things in her personal life. It was time she tried to snoop into where she was from, regardless of wherever it could possibly take her as she took hold of the business card, or at least what she thought was one and inspected it in her hand. It was Megan's contact information to contact her, sliding it into a pocket in her shorts before looking back and over to Megan after fiddling with them. "Thank Mrs. Howell. I appreciate your help," she says before giving off another stretch, she was likely going be doing some running soon through the forest and a bit of climbing, "I better hurry. Don't want to leave Michael waiting all day for me back at the property. I want to see the view from the heights quick."
  19. La Puma Negra Puma was finding that more and more things were off about all this by the second, and seeing how this was just some fake reality made by a Quirk, she was going to just have to deal with it. This didn't mean she wasn't going to not continue to fight as she still kept her claws out and her eyes trained right at this version of Neko she wasn't rather liking. Whatever grudge she had for the real Neko, perceived or otherwise, she was going to let it out a bit as she began to pounce forward, ready to strike this imaginary Neko. "Where's the real you Neko or is this just one of Quirks?!" Puma slashes at Neko once more.
  20. 21 To attack Neko then, will post soon.
  21. La Puma Negra Carmen was clearly having difficult time thinking of words to say to Megan as she stood in thought for a few moments. She had been meaning to ask this of Patriot, her mentor that the school had chosen for her to learn from. The next time Puma saw her she'd talk to her, but she'd try it with the Megan here first. It was worth a try as she cleared her throat and spoke, stumbling over her words partially as she came up with what to say finally. "You're with the Freedom League, right, they have a decent amount resource. I was wondering... well... if they could help me find my parents. I don't really have any family and I've never even met them," she says with a big breath, her hail-mary goal kick of an ask, "It's okay if that's a bit much to help but if anyone could help it'd be the Freedom League. I've been meaning to ask Patriot for some time but... weird stuff always happens. Villains, terrorists, or some super crazy super being."
  22. Carmen was ready, now having discarded her clothing in favor of the particular Claremont style of uniform specially made for her style and agility, undoing the casual jeans, varsity jacket, and tan blouse that she wore. Worn tennis shoes were kicked off as now she was ready, easily discarded. Carmen would soon follow him out the back door right into the direction of danger, for she was no longer Carmen but the young heroine La Puma Negra, moving alongside her new, first, and only boyfriend she has ever had in her life so far. It was time to go to work. Puma would use quickly her super senses, her sense of smell and hearing, trying to discern the direction of whatever the chaos was, "First date, let just not make it our last."
