Predator Cynthia combed through records at Predator’s direction, but turned up nothing. So, it was lucky when Dr Fields contacted them. The frequency he gave them was just what they needed to find the circus themed gang. The coordinates that she was able to pinpoint showed the condemned remains of a circus. It was no wonder it hadn’t shown up in her search. The most recent images she was able to pull from satellite coverage show Ed them already I in the process of packing up to flee. They would have to move quickly. “We have to stop the truck. Most likely some of them will be utilizing more stolen tech, so we have to be ready to react.” Predator said. “The truck will probably be loaded with whatever excess tech they can’t use right now.” She thought for a moment. “We’ll be out numbered so the best tactic is to pick a target and focus on them until they are no longer a threat, then move on to the next. Whittle down their numbers one at a time. Of course, this can change during the encounter, so use your own judgement.” She regarded Shooting Star. “Your thoughts?”

“Well, there is one girl I wouldn’t put it past.” Leon teases, giving Luke a smirk. “That fiery little red-head is still there I think.” He chuckles. “I was a Downtown kid growing up, but not really the Fens.” Leon glanced between Alice and Aaron. There was more to their conversation than any of them knew, but that was personal and not their business to ask about in his opinion. “We hang out from time to time, when we can.” He grinned as Neko eagerly showed off her video to Alice’s brother. He was proud of his girlfriend’s success. He watched all her videos too. “Maybe you can have Alice as a guest sometime. Maybe check out her old cafeteria together.” He chuckles. Leon tries not to snicker at Owain’s ‘exchange students’ comment. “Maybe we should drag Alice out on our next road trip.” He suggests sounding more than a little excited at the idea.

Paper Leon sat up and regarded Muirne. He gave her a grin and offered her a fist to bump before his roommate could descend upon her. “Hey, it’s what we do.” His grin faded quickly as he glanced at Charlie. Looking away Leon climbed to his feet, dusting his pants off as he did. Wordlessly he swept a hand and the scattered remains of paper around the room swarmed and gathered into a neat stack in his hand. “Well then, I’m bored now.” He glanced at Luke and gave him an obviously forced smirk. “Don’t wait up for me. I think I'll go cause a little trouble of my own. You can have the apartment to yourselves.” Leon gives his friend a wink and turns to head out of the warehouse, a vague wave to the others as he walks away.

Blackstaff The wail cut off and it was a blessing, the echo of it trailing off. Blackstaff turned her attention back to the monstrous creature. It still held the boy in its coils. She gritted her teeth and changed tactics. Reaching out with her hand she made a grabbing motion at the wall. At the same time her will reached out as well. She felt the firmness of the earth and smirked. “Maybe I will try my hand at the whole punching thing.” Making a fist, she swung at the air in front of her. At the same time, a massive fist of earth and stone erupted from the cave wall. It slammed into the side of the creature’s head, dazing it.

Predator Predator watched as Fleur not only stabilized the building, but managed to extinguish the majority of the fires. Crews would have to go over it to catch any lingering embers but this would make their job much easier. At his apology she shook her head. “No need to apologize. A speedy capture assured less potential for civilian involvement. Your aid is appreciated.” She stood guard over Explodo until police arrived to take him into custody, making arrangements for the audio/visual files to be sent to them as needed. Once done with them, Predator rejoins the others. The new arrival triggering a new set of pop-ups on her internal monitors. “Paradigm, if I am correct. Welcome back to Earth.” The armored hero nodded to the arrival. “I think I can assure you; that as long as you are on Earth or with in its stellar influence, its heroes will do everything in their power to ensure your safety.” “I believe Miss de Joie will second that measure.” She nods to the other woman. “I am sorry we have not been formally introduced.” She looks at the two young heroes. “And I’m afraid I have no records of you two on file yet.” Reaching up, a hiss of air is audible as the helmet disengages. Predator removes the helmet to reveal her vixen nature. “You may call me Predator while on duty.”

Predator Predator had stepped back after her kick connected in expectation of Explodo’s counter attack. She braced for the explosion but Star Khan interceded, the force of the blast split around them. Before she could attack again, the foreigner close down the villain and delivered a tremendous blow that sent the man soaring into a parked vehicle. On one of her screens an indicator had marked the arrival of one of the League members. One Fleur de Joie. Another professional hero on the scene was appreciative. First though… Predator approached the prone form of the arsonist carefully. She crouched and checked his vitals before standing and surveying the situation. As she did, she opened a comm line to emergency services again. ”This is Predator, suspect in arson has been apprehended, please sent available units.”

Blackstaff The continued wailing was beginning to irritate the wizard. Hands pressed over her ears, she felt the growing surge of magical energy. Mentally she gathered up the energy and focused it like a hammer. There were too many other potential unknown magics so she needed to be selective in her effort. She didn’t have to look at the wailing head to drop the proverbial hammer, but she glanced at it anyways. The force of her will bringing the disruptive magical energy to bare on it in an attempt to end the wailing magic it was spewing out.

Well, I’ve been reading my own sheet wrong The Nullify Magic is an Area Effect w/ Selective so… wailing head needs a Ref DC20 save opposed power roll: 18 then a Will DC18 (DC13 if it makes the Ref save)

Paper Paper lulled his head to the side, watching Ghule as she paced and cursed rather colorfully. He tilted it back up and closed his eyes again. “I like this one…*huff*…Can we keep her?” He joked, managing a small chuckle while nodding towards the girl.

Facepalm, I I have been misreading that the whole time, I thought the wailing attack was from the crococonda.

Leon squinted against the bright sunlight. His friend’s outburst stirring him to shake off the last bits of his own drowsiness. “That’s us, always gotta find trouble the fastest way possible.” He groaned trying to work up some saliva to help the dryness in his mouth. He sighed and let the chain slip through his paper arm, giving him enough room to wiggle out of them. A few moments later Leon was watching Luke pace when he spotted the paper. The two looked it over and Leon gave an exhalation of annoyance. When the extra writing appeared he was a little confused. He glanced at his friend to see if he had any idea what it meant. He rolled the paper up and waved it absently. “I’d give her credit for pulling one over on both of us, if it wasn’t for the overwhelming rage I’m feeling.” He said flatly. “We should get moving before we stare suffering for heat stroke or something. Besides, I stole that car fair and square. Can’t let some little tart steal it from me.” He lets Luke take the lead and follows. “So, any idea who you pissed off?” He smirked. ”Cause I never make women mad.”

Paper Paper kept a grip on his paper as The Conqueror Worm struggled. Even as the bogeyman tumbled into the darkness of the portal he tried to hold on, but The Worm finally snapped his bonds and Paper fell back onto the floor. He stared into the portal, watching as the monster they struggled against reach out to save itself. For a moment, he thought it just might but then, at Shadowbourne’s command, the portal began to close and seal. Suddenly a psychic scream washed over him and Paper clutched at his head. And like that, it was over… Paper sat on the ground panting. A laugh escaped him, then another. The next moment Paper leaned his head back, laughing. After a moment the laughter tapered off and he just stared up at the ceiling. Right now, he could care less right now that Chump had made off with Casanova, that Ms. Scorpion was still pinned to the wall, or that they were surrounded by a crowd of unconscious people who were going to have soooo many questions. “Not every night to fight the bogeyman and win.” He said to no one in particular as he closed his eyes.

Blackstaff Blackstaff tried to keep the wail out, but it managed to creep in. The unearthly cry rattled him, but she managed to keep her stomach from completely rebelling. She tried again to focus on the giant creature. Again and again it twisted and flailed, lashing out at them, forcing the duo to dodge. It made it difficult to aim and her spell once again missed its mark.

Okay, Reg save first: 10 Sonova… Will save: 20 Alright, at least she kept her cookies down. Ranged attack: 12 well that’s a miss.

Paper As Paper slipped over the rubble to peek into the armored vehicle the color of his hoodie changed colors to black with red trim. The occupants seemed to be alive, if not a little worse for wear. The sound of weapons fire was audible from outside as he noticed the side of the transport had been caved in. Something had slammed into it; it was probably what had driven it through the wall of the arena. Whatever happened outside was serious. It was easy enough for Paper to slide across the roof and slip between the armored vehicle and the wall. On the other side he crouched on the roof and looked around.

Chimera Chimera cursed as the zombies swarmed them again. This time though, she recognized some of the faces. Just a short time ago, they had been alive and fighting for their lives. But, she couldn’t let her guard down. She heard something hit the water and she couldn’t see any sign of Max. It wasn’t hard to figure out where he’d gone. She cursed again. “You have got to be kidding me.” Chimera wanted to follow after the man but she couldn’t let these monsters go unchecked. Too many innocent civilians could get hurt. “Can’t let these things keep walking around.” She swings at one of the fresh zombies hoping to reduce their numbers.
