  1. Paper Paper had glanced towards Visor. “Well, that sucks.” He says with a smirk. “Guess we know who the leader is.” The wing buffet from his best friend sent a few of the enemies tumbling, but tThe one called Big Horn came to tower over the two. The man slapped his hands together and Paper narrowly dodged the crushing wave of force. “Please hold the applause till the end of the performance.” “I’ll distract the big guy, take the shot when you have an opening.” He whispered to Shadowborne before letting go of her and reappearing. He moved away from his teammate’s position, making a show of calling the big guy out. “Hey, big guy! You picked the wrong day to cosplay ‘Crush-it-Carl’ with your friends.” Paper swung the staff back and forth, trying to look menacing, before snapping the sheets in his other hand at the man’s feet. Paper wasn’t actually trying to hit him, just set him up for his teammate to strike from the shadows.
  2. Use a HP to gain the Set-Up feat Attempt to feint Bluff check: 17 If by some miracle it works, giving the surprise attack bonus to SB
  3. Predator The passing acknowledgment she had given interstellar politics before now, Predator realized, was woefully lacking. She had been focusing on planet based problems, she hadn’t considered it necessary at the time. She would have to rectify that when she had the opportunity. Fluer was a League member, perhaps she could help get her the files she would need. For now, Predator did her best to follow along. Talk for diplomacy and marriage proposals were both brought up, but Paradigm’s main objective seemed to be reassuring the new Kahn. She was very aware of her lack of weight in the conversation, and so held her peace. The two younger heroes seemed to be of like mind, remaining silent through the exchange. At least until the young man moved to request Fleur’s autograph. Predator found it amusing. She was curious of de Joie’s input, as she regarded the League member.
  4. Blackstaff Blackstaff gritted his teeth as the entity shrugged off his last two attempts. He didn’t appreciate its mockery but he was trying not to destroy the street or surrounding buildings. Also, Dreamer was behind him, she wasn’t helpless but he didn’t want to endanger her further. That limited what he was willing to throw around unless things needed to escalate. Carnifex had missed its attack on their assailant but had posted itself between them. This gave Blackstaff a moment of breathing space. His eyes search for an advantage he could take when he caught sight of the white rabbit down the nearby alley. As it waved to him, Blackstaff clearly identified it as one of Dreamer’s creations. He began to formulate a new plan. “Frigatus Archilus!” Blackstaff called out as he swept his hand, palm out, before him. The air in front of Dougal seemed to crystallize in mid air before a wall of jagged ice erupted out of it. It split the street and rose into the air. As soon as it broke line of sight with the entity, Blackstaff reached back and grabbed Dreamer’s hand. “This way!” He tugged her towards the alley, trying to allow for her dream steed. “That won’t slow it down for long.” When he notices her steed struggling to cross the short distance, the wizard takes the initiative and scoops her up into the typical princess carry. It slows him down a little but it’s still faster than her slowed steed.
  5. Swim: 13 Notice: 26 There’s a reason she joined the Track Team and not the Swim Team.
  6. Ref save: 17 Think I’ll go ahead and reroll: 25 w/ evasion2 Dodged.
  7. I’ll say Blackstaff was distracted keeping the cave from falling in and automatically fails the Ref and just do the Fort save. Plus she tbought it was down for the count, but she was wrong. Fort save: 11… And Blackstaff’s rolling saves trend stays strong. Last HP to try to save: 25 That’s way better.
  8. Chimera Chimera watched as Nightscale began making short work of the remaining zombies. She was impressed, but still felt a little bad for them. None of them had asked to be brought back as a shambling hoard. She shook herself out of those thoughts and focused on the problem at hand. Blowfish wasn’t the problem right now, Max was. She couldn’t let him get away again. She gave Nightscale a quick nod. “I can try.” She said and ran for the edge of the dock to jump in after Max.
  9. Blackstaff Blackstaff sighed in relief as the giant monster collapsed, freeing Golden Star as it fell limp. She honestly hoped she hadn’t killed to poor thing. It was never her intention to kill. She had no time to ponder on it though as the cave began to shake and tremble. She cursed herself for not being more careful, though honestly it could have been the thing’s flailing around as easily was her own attack. Blackstaff quickly saw they have mere seconds before what was above them was on top of them. With a motion, the earthen hand shifted to hold up the roof. It wouldn’t be enough though. Blackstaff made a series of complicated hand gestures. “Terta’ge’acht!” Spreading her fingers wide, she threw her hands out forward and the first crumbled. But even as it did, it was already reshaping, forming into a stone lattice-like arch that spread back towards the entrance as well as down the tunnel.
  10. Create 10 to form a wall of ice between Dougal and them. Trying to make a clear path to the alley where he saw the rabbit. His thought, being that it seems like one of Dreamer’s creations. Do you want a power check?
  11. Chimera should be sitting at 2HP now after using 2
  12. Chimera She was getting real tired of dealing with zombies… Anger was bubbling up inside of her, then she felt the pull. It was easy to tell where it was coming from. The sword wielding possessed man was calling to her. No, not her, the gold. She tried to resist it, but felt it starting to slip from her grasp. The anger swelled again. Was it her anger or was it the gold’s. It was concerning that she couldn’t tell, but the thought was drowned under the anger. How dare this man think it belonged to him, it was her’s. The anger reinforced her will and she pushed back against the pull. For a moment it seemed like she had refuted the call, but a slender thread of gold hung in the air, drawn free from her symbiote… Chimera roared in fury. Rage erupted inside her and the symbiote writhed, echoing her anger. Techno-organic blades snapped out of her forearms. A blur of silver-gray with hints of gold flashed across the space between where she had been standing and the fiery swordsman, leaving piles of collapsed undead in its wake. She was getting real tired of dealing with zombies…
  13. Create 10 power check (+2): 27
  14. Knowledge, Earth Science (untrained): 18 Create 10 to turn the stone fist into an arching stone lattice to try to support and reinforce the cave. Do I need to roll anything?
  15. Fort save: 11… Fort reroll: 20 okay so only lost 1 point and another HP to stunt an AoE targeted line Attack. basically a bull rush to plow through to the sword guy, unless super zombie interposes. Melee Attack roll: 26
  16. Predator Cynthia combed through records at Predator’s direction, but turned up nothing. So, it was lucky when Dr Fields contacted them. The frequency he gave them was just what they needed to find the circus themed gang. The coordinates that she was able to pinpoint showed the condemned remains of a circus. It was no wonder it hadn’t shown up in her search. The most recent images she was able to pull from satellite coverage show Ed them already I in the process of packing up to flee. They would have to move quickly. “We have to stop the truck. Most likely some of them will be utilizing more stolen tech, so we have to be ready to react.” Predator said. “The truck will probably be loaded with whatever excess tech they can’t use right now.” She thought for a moment. “We’ll be out numbered so the best tactic is to pick a target and focus on them until they are no longer a threat, then move on to the next. Whittle down their numbers one at a time. Of course, this can change during the encounter, so use your own judgement.” She regarded Shooting Star. “Your thoughts?”
  17. “Well, there is one girl I wouldn’t put it past.” Leon teases, giving Luke a smirk. “That fiery little red-head is still there I think.” He chuckles. “I was a Downtown kid growing up, but not really the Fens.” Leon glanced between Alice and Aaron. There was more to their conversation than any of them knew, but that was personal and not their business to ask about in his opinion. “We hang out from time to time, when we can.” He grinned as Neko eagerly showed off her video to Alice’s brother. He was proud of his girlfriend’s success. He watched all her videos too. “Maybe you can have Alice as a guest sometime. Maybe check out her old cafeteria together.” He chuckles. Leon tries not to snicker at Owain’s ‘exchange students’ comment. “Maybe we should drag Alice out on our next road trip.” He suggests sounding more than a little excited at the idea.
  18. Paper Leon sat up and regarded Muirne. He gave her a grin and offered her a fist to bump before his roommate could descend upon her. “Hey, it’s what we do.” His grin faded quickly as he glanced at Charlie. Looking away Leon climbed to his feet, dusting his pants off as he did. Wordlessly he swept a hand and the scattered remains of paper around the room swarmed and gathered into a neat stack in his hand. “Well then, I’m bored now.” He glanced at Luke and gave him an obviously forced smirk. “Don’t wait up for me. I think I'll go cause a little trouble of my own. You can have the apartment to yourselves.” Leon gives his friend a wink and turns to head out of the warehouse, a vague wave to the others as he walks away.
  19. Blackstaff The wail cut off and it was a blessing, the echo of it trailing off. Blackstaff turned her attention back to the monstrous creature. It still held the boy in its coils. She gritted her teeth and changed tactics. Reaching out with her hand she made a grabbing motion at the wall. At the same time her will reached out as well. She felt the firmness of the earth and smirked. “Maybe I will try my hand at the whole punching thing.” Making a fist, she swung at the air in front of her. At the same time, a massive fist of earth and stone erupted from the cave wall. It slammed into the side of the creature’s head, dazing it.
  20. Ranged attack: 19 Toughness DC25 of that actually hit
  21. Predator Predator watched as Fleur not only stabilized the building, but managed to extinguish the majority of the fires. Crews would have to go over it to catch any lingering embers but this would make their job much easier. At his apology she shook her head. “No need to apologize. A speedy capture assured less potential for civilian involvement. Your aid is appreciated.” She stood guard over Explodo until police arrived to take him into custody, making arrangements for the audio/visual files to be sent to them as needed. Once done with them, Predator rejoins the others. The new arrival triggering a new set of pop-ups on her internal monitors. “Paradigm, if I am correct. Welcome back to Earth.” The armored hero nodded to the arrival. “I think I can assure you; that as long as you are on Earth or with in its stellar influence, its heroes will do everything in their power to ensure your safety.” “I believe Miss de Joie will second that measure.” She nods to the other woman. “I am sorry we have not been formally introduced.” She looks at the two young heroes. “And I’m afraid I have no records of you two on file yet.” Reaching up, a hiss of air is audible as the helmet disengages. Predator removes the helmet to reveal her vixen nature. “You may call me Predator while on duty.”
  22. Predator Predator had stepped back after her kick connected in expectation of Explodo’s counter attack. She braced for the explosion but Star Khan interceded, the force of the blast split around them. Before she could attack again, the foreigner close down the villain and delivered a tremendous blow that sent the man soaring into a parked vehicle. On one of her screens an indicator had marked the arrival of one of the League members. One Fleur de Joie. Another professional hero on the scene was appreciative. First though… Predator approached the prone form of the arsonist carefully. She crouched and checked his vitals before standing and surveying the situation. As she did, she opened a comm line to emergency services again. ”This is Predator, suspect in arson has been apprehended, please sent available units.”
  23. Blackstaff The continued wailing was beginning to irritate the wizard. Hands pressed over her ears, she felt the growing surge of magical energy. Mentally she gathered up the energy and focused it like a hammer. There were too many other potential unknown magics so she needed to be selective in her effort. She didn’t have to look at the wailing head to drop the proverbial hammer, but she glanced at it anyways. The force of her will bringing the disruptive magical energy to bare on it in an attempt to end the wailing magic it was spewing out.
  24. Well, I’ve been reading my own sheet wrong The Nullify Magic is an Area Effect w/ Selective so… wailing head needs a Ref DC20 save opposed power roll: 18 then a Will DC18 (DC13 if it makes the Ref save)
  25. Paper Paper lulled his head to the side, watching Ghule as she paced and cursed rather colorfully. He tilted it back up and closed his eyes again. “I like this one…*huff*…Can we keep her?” He joked, managing a small chuckle while nodding towards the girl.
