  1. Notice 21 with Skill Mastery for Charlie. I'll get the results of that in the next GM post, after everyone has done post.
  2. EQUIP'd by Dr Archeville Ghost Adding 2PP worth of Equipment using my veteran reward, to add a Freedom League communicator. Please add it under feats on his sheet like this: Veteran Awards Equipment 2 (10 EP) Freedom Leagues Communicator [6EP] Communications 5 (Radio, 5 miles; Extra: Area; Flaw: Limited [Other FL Communicators]) [5EP] Communications Link 1 (Freedom League HQ) [1EP] I'll figure out what to do with the last 4EP from that some other time.
  3. ADVANCED TRAINING RECEIVED by Dr Archeville Stormcrow He obviously doesn't have enough skills. I should add some more. But first: +1 Fortitude for 1PP, bringing him up to total +10. I noticed that the current skill total is off, adding up to 121 ranks, or 30.25PP spent, so to remedy that, please increase Bluff by 3 ranks to Bluff 10 (+15) That leaves me with 6PP for skills, meaning +24 Skill Ranks, divided like this: Investigate +4 to 13 (+20) Notice +9 to 17 (+20) Search +3 to 8 (+15) Sense Motive +8 to 16 (+19) That should put these as the skill totals: SKILLS 148R = 37PP Acrobatics 15 (+20)Acrobatic Bluff, Skill Mastery Bluff 10 (+15) Computers 13 (+20)Online Research, Skill Mastery Diplomacy 2 (+7) Drive 5 (+10) Escape Artist 5 (+10) Gather Information 7 (+12)Well-Informed, Skill Mastery Investigate 13 (+20)Skill Mastery Knowledge [Tactics] 8 (+15) Language 4 (American Sign Language, Chinese [Mandarin], English [native], Japanese, Russian) Notice 17 (+20)Skill Mastery Pilot 5 (+10) Search 8 (+15)Skill Mastery Sense Motive 16 (+19)Skill Mastery Sleight of Hand 5 (+10) Stealth 15 (+20)Hide in Plain Sight, Skill Mastery
  4. GHOST Everything folds around them, changing, shifting and then... they're at the space ship. In the hangar, with aliens all around, and Velocity is already getting to work, making her way through them. "That was weird, right? That whole space fold thing?" Casper asks no one in particular, while he looks around. A ship this big needs a power source. If they can disable that, then they can disable the ship. Or at least weaken it. Honestly, he has no idea, but it might work. The joys of x-ray goggles, and... there it is. And it should be within reach. If he can get to it, he can try to take it down, but some backup would be nice. "Hey, Patriot?" They joined the League around the same time, and she does seem like the type that'd like this kind of job. "Wanna help me take out their power source?" He is grinning widely behind his mask, which is almost visible despite it hiding his face. He holds a hand out, and once she takes it, they are gone, a chaotic surge of light blue energy rushing through the space ship before they reappear in the reactor room, as close to it as he can get, depending on how many people he could see in the room, Ghost does his best to put them in the best position for Patriot to do some damage.
  5. Alright, bringing Patriot along for the Teleport as my second Move Action. Depending on whether taking the Friendly Neighborhood Ghost Array started on Teleport since that's my first action with it or started on Insubstantial and I had to spend a Free Action to shift it, I will shift it to Insubstantial after the Teleport if possible. Otherwise, not Insubstantial at the moment.
  6. GM At Baz's reaction and words, the figure in purple turns around, their purple cape moving around them as they do. Their face hidden behind a reflective helmet, it is nonetheless clear that they are looking at Baz, Lawrence, Parker and the young woman. He raises a hand and points towards Gamma Buzz. "Get down from there right now." The voice is heavily electronically distorted, but nonetheless sounds annoyed, especially as he notices Timeout, Spaceman and the young woman. "You are not supposed to be here, but you did bring the wayward experiment back." While the man in purple continues, the girl starts heating up again. Another pulse goes through her body, just like before and once it is done, she has grown once again, easily looking like she is 40 years old now. The man scoffs. "Another disappointment."
  7. GM As the group continue their trek through the desert the day, night slowly begins to fall. The light begins to fade as the sun passes beyond the horizon. With Carmen and Bernadette taking the lead, and, if Dr. Macedon manages to make them do the same Vueriz and Baz as well, they eventually make it to the spot that had been pointed out as their goal before all light is gone. The wind is picking out. "Alright, great job everyone," Alexandra says, as she puts her backpack down. "We've dealt with the heat during the day, and you did fine, but it's about to get real cold out here when the sun goes down, especially with the wind picking up like that. In other conditions, you should go forage for wood or something to start a fire, but what do you think we should do here?" The wind continues to pick up. Blowing stronger and stronger. Sand is slowly beginning to be moved about it, blowing around them.
  8. GM The crowd goes wild as Neko blows up to gigantic proportions to introduce the band. Whether they are there for her, for the band or both, the show is off to a good start. When Multiplicity takes the stage, even those that were only here because of Neko Musume quickly joins in the cheers. It is a sight to behold, with whistling and hollering joining the cheers as the band plays the first song, all illuminated by the night sky that Neko has made for the show, and whatever else she might have come up with. But with a crowd this loud and dense, who knows what else might be going on?
  9. ooc for this. @Thevshi @Spacefurry @Avenger Assembled let's get some Notice rolls while we get another round of posts in.
  10. GM The program that is Haven had to compress itself to enter through the backdoor that the Woodsman had cut into the building. A program at his size will take time to unzip itself. Time that he does not have, time that he instinctively knows will lead to him being detected. His self is slowly restoring itself as he begins to move through the city. It is eerily empty. He sees just a few figures moving through the city every now and again. Faint figures, clad in green. In the center of the city, he can see a tower. It seems like it reaches all the way to the red planet that hangs above. As he moves, searching the directories in the Emerald City, he begins to find a path through the city's folders, he finds a place, a system folder that might serve his purpose. There seems to be activity in there. It looks like a seedy bar.
  11. The STORMCROW What do you even say to someone that has lost a part of themselves like that? That kind of trauma? Charlie has been hurt before, but nothing like what Bernie must have experienced... "I'm here," he says, holding her close. "I'm right here. Just hold on to me." "What happened? I thought you were at Fiji with the other Claremonters?"
  12. The STORMCROW Charlie is genuiely surprised when Callie shows up out of nowhere, so much that he almost forget to grin at Bernie's two duplicates in wigs as they look at him. Only almost. He gives them a quick grin, then turns to Callie, stretching his arms out. "Callie!" He sounds excited as he approaches. "It's been ages!" Keep up the pretenses. It's not like everyone there knows that he's Stormcrow, even if the former Claremonters might recognize him as Nevermore. "I went on a bit of a sabbatical myself. The boss man needed help with something, and that turned out to be a whole thing that just took forever." He turns to Bernie and the band with a wide grin, gesturing towards Callie. "Callie's pretty much family. Even if its been a long while."
  13. I'm gonna wait until tomorrow morning and see if anyone wants to teleport along re: my message in discord, otherwise I'll post and bring Ghost to the reactor.
  14. Spaceman Parker's parents had always gone on about how he should broaden his horizons, take in everything that he could do, meet all kinds of people and experience all kinds of things, so his mom all but jumped when he wrote them about the permission. Parker himself had been mostly quiet on the ride. He honestly isn't sure how much he would like to be there or not. Unlike most of the others, it seems, he has experienced Deep Ones before, back when he was a child during in 2011, just 4 years old. He had not been hurt, but he felt afraid for his life. As they leave the van and Sea Devil appears and lowers her helmet, he flinches. He can't help it. The others introduce themselves, but he remains silent, staying a bit back. Intellectually, he knows that Sea Devil is a hero. She's trustworthy, she keeps people safe, but... She's also a Deep One, and he used to have nightmares about her people.
  15. Space Ranger III "Makes sense. There's lots of Star Knights out there. I'm guessing it will be confusing whenever more of you are together like this." J'onn stops and turns to the machine, the massive propulsion unit. Did somebody aim this piece of rock at Korus? "Is it active?" J'onn asks, looking over the engine. "Anybody see a control panel?"
  16. Alright, let's go for some heavy sabotage, then. Once through the portal, can Ghost find the ship's reactor using his x-ray vision? And how far away from it is he in a direct route?
  17. @Thevshi I'll spend a HP to let you reroll that save.
  18. GM The moment they are on the other side of the wall, the group finds themselves standing in a very different environment. Steel clad walls and floors in a massive area that seems almost the size of a warehouse. It doesn't seem like it should fit down here, and yet, it is here. It seems to be a bit of a chaotic mess, to tell the truth. Randomly located cages with a few people inside them, around the age of the now teenage girl. Computers in random locations, some connected to the cages, others to various vats that seem to have some sort of bubbling liquids. A massive device that seems to be the reactor that the girl had mentioned seems to be in the middle of the room. An armored figure in purple, with a purple cape, stands by it.
  19. Spaceman "No idea," the girl says, trying to hold up the scanner, but with little effect. "I don't really know how it works, anyway." Parker looks back and forth between the girl that is now a teenager, the hidden door that he can sense and the scanner hidden on the wall. "Buzz, come here. We'll go first, then I'll grab you," he looks at the girl, "and then Timeout." There's too many of them for him to bring them all alone at once, but... its a door. And there's somewhere they can go on the other side. One by one, Parker changes the distance between himself and the other that he holds on to and the space on the other side of the door, bringing them over, until they are all there. "Now what?" he asks the girl.
  20. The STORMCROW "Neko's got some serious stage skills," Charlie says to Leon, as they watch from backstage. He is wearing a pair of jeans and a dark red t-shirt with a white pattern of exclamation points and question marks on the upper right part of his chest, spreading over his shoulder to his back. He's looked into her. Of course he has. He knows how complicated her story is, he knows the files that Claremont got on her and what she can do (just a fringe benefit of Callie Summers being the headmistress), but that doesn't mean that he knows her. While Bernie and Multiplicity are rocking the stage, Charlie grins at Leon. Sure, they might have their issues, but he's not going to let that stop him. "You two seem to be doing alright. So, how did you get together?"
  21. The STORMCROW Charlie's eyes go wide when Bernie all but tackles him, wrapping her arms tightly around him. This is not the Bernie he is used to. This is not... This is Bernie who needs him. He has already noticed her state. Scrapes, cuts, bruises, blood, but she can handle that normally. This is... This is different. He wraps his arms around her, holding her close, letting her cry. Letting her know that he is there, that he has her, that she is not alone. When she stops for a moment to explain, he looks down at her. Confused at first, then understanding. "Do you mean..." He pauses, not sure if he wants to even say it, but he has to. "One of your duplicates?" He can't even begin to imagine what it would be like...
  22. GM Time passes, and the A.E.G.I.S. arrives to take care of the people that had ben injured and to contain the area. A breach like this, even contained, is something to be taken seriously. Some heroes are gone by the time A.E.G.I.S. arrives, others might not be. After letting the others know that he would be in touch, Stormcrow disappeared. The Conqueror Worm's puppets slowly awaken. They remember little of what happened, but they all feel tainted, violated to their core. No one escapes the Conqueror Worm's touch without a mark. Bluejay, once a promising hero, the daughter of a Claremont vice principal, is all but catatonic. She moves, she responds, but she refuses to take any action. Is she in control? Is she controlled? She cannot know. Not after this long. Toxin is angry. Where Bluejay seems to have given up, she is pissed off, angry at the world, and right now, especially angry at the A.E.G.I.S. crew that is bringing her in for questioning, as they try to figure out what actions she took willingly, and which she did not. Ms. Scorpion is taken into custody. Ranting, raving, swearing revenge against everyone and everything. Clearly far more unbalanced than she were before. She is taken away by A.E.G.I.S., yelling all the way, even as they attempt to offer her medical attention. Chump and Casanova are gone. Whatever might be left of Sebastian Shields are keeping them hidden, untraceable. Or maybe they are just that far gone. For now, the day is won. The Young Guardians stand triumphant. The Conqueror Worm is conquered. Everything is fine and resolved. Everything is over. --- The near future Eddie Fell doesn't like it. He doesn't like it at all. Everything was supposed to be over. Everything going back to the way it used to be, just him and his buddy hanging out, taking care of each other, keeping each other safe. He even got them an apartment while his buddy got better and got back to normal. Got a job to take care of them, plenty of food in the fridge and everything, and still... It just isn't working out like Eddie hoped. Eddie is leaned against the door frame by the bedroom. His friend is in bed, still out of it. Staring up at the ceiling with open eyes, without seeing anything. Eddie doesn't like it. He doesn't like it at all, but who can he go to for help? Things are supposed to be fine now. Everything is supposed to be back to normal. "... and the angels, all pallid and wan..." His friend is muttering that poem again. That terrible, terrible poem. "...uprising, unveiling, affirm..." Eddie looks at the bent police badge on the kitchen desk for the hundredth time this day. All he has left of his dad, and he let it get to this. What would his dad have done? Would he have tried to stop his friend? "... that the play is the tragedy, "Man,"..." As Eddie Fell watches, a sudden realization comes over him, when he sees Sebastian Shields close his eyes for the last time... "... and its hero..." A stranger's eyes open, where once was Sebastian Shields. Eddie Fell decides that today is not the day to live up his nickname. Chump turns and runs. "The Conqueror Worm."
  23. As discussed on Discord, that means that the Immunity powers does not have the Flaw Permanent. I have updated the sheet to make it clear that they are Continuous instead.
