  4. Not the one you linked in char creation apparently as that was the original.
  5. Neither Jack or the spirit within had any idea of what to expect next...everything was going sideways. His instinct was to stop her, but she was already beyond that. She had decided to go with them, seemingly to protect him from something...but Jack couldnt make sense of it. Jack stood in impotent rage, abandoned in an alleyway, left to wait and worry. He felt the anger build inside of him, and perhaps that was her plan, to let his emotions build pressure until they exploded forth in a violent and bloody mess.....and it was working. Jack's body began shaking harder with each passing millisecond as he bottled his anger. Who were these idiots that dared to threaten them? Who had the nerve to enter his territory and try and take what was his? The animal within him paced back and forth inside his mind and strained against what little defenses kept it under his skin. He looked at his hands, his fingers already beginning to elongate, his nails sharpening. He tried to concentrate, to hold back the rushing anger, but the more tried, the more it slipped out. A guttural growl emanated from him as his teeth sharpened.
  6. That is good to know. I'm considering how Jack would handle this
  7. Jack looked from Jessica to their wannabe kidnappers...if that's what they could be counted as. A low, guttural growl escaped him, but he remained silent. He placed a giant hand on her shoulder, almost possessively. He wanted these men to know they would be taking her over their cold dead corpses. Jack felt the beast inside him awaken with ferocious rage. From its standpoint, these meat bags were trying to take something that belonged to it, was part of its pack and family. Jack had to focus to restrain his beastial urge to rend and tear through flesh. His conscious mind held on to the thought that he did not fully know what stood before him, and that thinking kept the Bear inside. He had to know more before he got Jessica into danger.
  8. Jack felt his skin crawl as the figures loomed closer and immediately he put himself between Jess and the two hooded figures. He looked around at all of the people, most not even noticing the danger they were in. He turned his gaze upon the two figures. "Da, we can take this to better place..." he felt the animal within him awaken, the sheer resolve of his will the only thing restraining it from tearing through his flesh.
  9. They had drawn a fair crowd on their walk to the burger joint, but nothing that they were used to by this time. "What are you thinking? Couple big burger meals and shakes?" He asked with a grin as they stood in line.
  10. Jack felt a stab to his heart as he heard the defeat in her tone. He hadn't meant to hurt her with his words, in fact he had wanted to cheer her up, but as usual his intentions produced the opposite result. It was the curse of being him it seemed. He listened to her words but resisted her pull towards the door, instead sweeping her up into his arms and moving towards their couch. He sat with her in his lap and stroked her hair softly. "My apologies, luv...I did not mean to offend your pride." He said softly, almost a whisper in her ear. He should have known with her abilities that pride and envy would run close to the surface. He didnt always understand things, but eventually he figured it out. "I only mean to remind you that you be perfect to me already...and as far as tattoos, if that be your wish I will support it but..." he looked away for a moment, a bit of shame in his eyes. "The tattoos I bear...I as yet do not take pride in dem that you seem to. To me dey are reminder of lives lost both animal and family. I apologize if I seemed against the idea."
  11. "Mhmm stacks do be a good place, da." Jack felt his stomach rumble excitedly at the mention of food. He rubbed it gingerly with an absent smile, thinking of food. He looked down at Jess as she stroked his arm lovingly and the smile warmed for a moment, then faltered as his brain slowly processed what she had said. He pushed her away a lil so he could look her in the eyes. His voiced turned serious as he asked. "Vy vould you be vantin' to do dat luv?" He asked, his accent thickening with his intensity. He softened his tone and gave her a sincere smile, making a show of looking her up and down. "Trust me luv, ur skin and body are perfect jus vay they are."
  12. Jack yawned again and stood up, rubbing his eyes. "Da anything for you luv." He replied with a sleepy smile. He rummaged around for shorts and a muscle shirt, not bothering with socks or shoes. "Wat tis it you would like for lunch den?" He asked, his body mostly in auto pilot mode, and not yet fully woken up.
  13. Jack yawned loudly, as was normal for him. If there was one thing his inner animal enjoyed it was sleep. Most days it never seemed enough what he did manage to get, but he had been getting better sleep of late. It was an odd feeling to be out in the world. Things had definitely changed since June, even though it had only been a month...it felt like a lifetime ago. He still had little idea what he was going to do with himself now, aside from stopping villains and saving people...but that wasnt exactly a rare commodity in this town.... He returned the bright smile of his beautiful roommate who had seemingly fallen asleep on his rather large chest again. "Tis barely 1202, you make it sound as tho I sleep all day" he said with a thick chuckle.
  14. "Niet I have not spoken to her in long time...I hope she well too." Jack said, a hint of sadness in his voice. Alexa had been one of his first friends. He often wondered what had become of her, if she had gone home or if something bad had befallen her...but he knew very little. He looked over the herbs with a nod. "There be some good specimens in dis place."
  15. "Da, if dat is what yous wanting then so it shall be Lapocha." Jack said with a big grin as he zipped upped his hoodie and slipped an arm around her waist. He stepped outside with her, the cold air feeling refreshing on his bare arms and face. He scratched at the growth of beard that was forming from his lack of shaving. He normally kept it shaved for school...since he didn't want to look out of place with the other kids...but it was the weekend and he hadn't been particularly motivated. "Mine family not big into holidays, but I know it important to yous westerns gorls." He added with a chuckle.
  16. "Smells wary good." He let his hand wander a bit as he ate the sandwich with the other in a couple of bites. Some bacon grease managed to dribble down his chin and he let it linger for an extra second to tease her, before wiping it away with a napkin. He licked his fingers with a nod. "That should keep beast happy for a minute." He looked to his red haired mistress. "Where we go today?" He asked. He knew she had mentioned it to him...but he had slept since then and his memory was...well his spirit animal was definitely not an elephant.
  17. "Ha..." he said with a thick exhalation. "Ve both know you in no mood for shopping last night." He finished as he exited the bathroom and made his way over to her. The smell of food cooking brought him fully awake. He had to admit she did know better then most how to get him up in the morning. He hugged her from behind and gently smelled her hair. As part animal he could smell more then the raspberry pomegranate shampoo she favored. Pheremones and body sweat among other chemicals all mixed beneath his nose, giving each person their own individual scent. Jess always smelled of chocolate covered strawberries. Delicious, but sinfully bad. "Good morning Love. I see you using culinary skills to woo me once again...You do know my weaknesses..."
  18. <"I alvays enjoy sleep..."> he responded, his eyes not quite open as he replied on instinct. Jack finally gave in as Jessica pulled him upright. He stretched with a yawn and sat on the side of the bed. His head was swimming from the early rising among other things...his muscles rippled as he stretched and scratched the back of his head. "Vhy must I 'ave fallen for morning person....?" He asked himself with a chuckle. He rummaged about for a bit to find his lounge pants and slipped into them as he padded towards the bathroom, still rubbing sleep from his eyes.
  19. Jack mumbled something and slipped an arm around Jessica's waist and pulled her back into bed. Enwrapping her into his arms with a quiet, "mhmm that's nice..." winter months were especially hard on Jack's sleep schedule. He had already been late to several classes this year and his teachers weren't particularly endeared to him over it.
  20. Jack moaned incoherently and rolled over, his daily hibernation not yet ready to be over. His head sunk into the pillows as his body readjusted to the slightly different position and he was fast asleep again. Lost to the outside world amid dreams of snow and stalking prey.
  21. Jack scratched his head as he had no idea what was being said in what sounded like on of the Arabian languages. He was glad at least one of the new group seemed to know English. He reflected on things now that he had a moment...this was definitely the oddest thing to ever had happened to him... including being bonded with an animal spirit. Jack had to admit he didn't understand anything of what was going on right now, but he understood that they had to find a book of some sort. He caught a brief glimpse of the one Pan had been holding before all of this and wondered if perhaps it was a similar book. "Good thing I 'ave muscle not tech.." Jack muttered to himself, thinking about a comment Watchdog had made not long ago. He eyed the new arrivals carefully...Jack wasn't sure about them, they were men long at sea, Jack understood isolation and how it could effect men. He hoped they wouldn't try anything foolish, but he didn't want to be far from the girls just in case. He had no doubt Watchdog could handle most of them...but his protective instinct were finely honed in this area. He crossed his massive arms over his chest.

    Assemble!

Jack scratched his head a little bit as the head mistress spoke. He was clueless to the goings on of the academy in his absence, but he didn't remember hearing about an invasion...he wondered what all he had missed. "Da, A noble ideal to be sure..." He whispered to his newest dark skinned friend. "I commend your spirit." He accent came out low and breathy. His attention was drawn to the mention of a curfew and restrictions...which he did not enjoy in the slightest. Animals were meant to be free.
  23. "Da I do love half dozen burgers..." Jack said softly, mostly to himself. He felt a bit awkward with the group and felt like he stood out...which in all honesty, he did. He chuckled softly to ease his tension. "Students get married? Seem crazy...but den again dis is America..." He let the joke trail off.
