  1. Huh. I forgot to rank Second Chance twice, but that's still one number I missed somewhere. I added Elusive Target and put Second Chance at 2, which should fix the numbers.
  2. After having the issues with my Toughness calculation pointed out to me (thanks, TA), I've jiggled things about a little to get stuff to work. Most importantly, taking a tradeoff in Damage/Attack to have a huge punch in the Solid Slime form, and then using the extra PP to bump up Fortitude saves by a little bit. I hope I covered everything when I messed the sheet around like that.
  3. Apologies, I had it down as Morph 5 on an earlier draft and just never changed it. I've added all the stuff that Density changes, as well as recalculating the Grapple bonus, which it turns out I'd done wrong.
  4. Got that down too. Is there anything else that needs cleaning up?
  5. Cleaned that up. They don't have to be in alphabetical order, do they?
  6. Player Name: Bisexuhell Greenheart Power Level: 10 (150/150PP) Unspent Power Points: 0 Trade-Offs: +1 Toughness/-1 Defense, -2 Attack/+2 Damage In Brief: Naïve, empathetic, academic slime, created to help the world love a little more. Alternate Identity: Lori Lovelle (Secret) Birthplace: Freedom City Residence: Midtown, Downtown Freedom, Freedom City Occupation: Biology lecturer at Freedom City University Affiliations: N/A Family: Maria Lovelle (“mother”, creator, deceased) Description: Age: 5 Gender: Agender (they/them) Height: 5’8” Weight: 210 lbs Eyes: Fully black Hair: None Most Common Morphed Form: Apparent Age: 21 Ethnicity: Caucasian Eyes: Green Hair: Silvery white and straight, goes halfway down their back. When not morphed into a more human looking form, Lori is a humanoid light green slime. Their form is relatively doughy, but has no real distinguishing features on it below their neck. They don’t have any lips, meaning that they tend to give big, toothy smiles whenever they do smile, even in other forms. Their eyes are fully black. The human form that Lori likes to take most is a feminine figure, with long white hair and green eyes (this is their idea of a joke). They don’t get any taller (or shorter), but their doughy form becomes more muscular (to explain away their strength more than anything). Their costume is a pink form-fitting spandex covering everything below their neck, with a purple heart symbol in the center of their chest, and a pink cape with a light green stripe around the edge, complete with hood. History: Maria Lovelle was an accomplished scientist, having made breakthroughs in the field of genetics that had solidified her place in scientific history. She could have retired under that banner quite easily, especially as all the appearances and talks had made her enough money (not that she was in it for the money, but being able to live comfortably was always a plus.) for her final years. However, something was bugging her. She’d made scientific discoveries, yes, but she worried that her work wouldn’t have a material impact on people’s lives – at least, not in her lifetime. She saw strife and pain and hurt in the news and around her, and she didn’t think she’d changed anything about it. So, she decided she was going to use her limited time to do something that would change that. She called in a bunch of favours (and paid a lot of money) to get ownership of a lab space where she could work in privacy, as well as certain technology that she wouldn’t normally be able to get access to. She had decided to create a person. Creating a human was far more than she could have hoped to do, and she didn’t know how long she had left, so she settled on making some sort of slime-based person. She wanted to create someone to help and heal, to spread love and defend the innocent and hurting. After many, many years, she’d done it. She’d created Lori. Lori was very quickly taught how to use their powers, both their shapeshifting, slimy body and their emotional control. Enrolling them in education was tricky, so Maria took to home-schooling them instead, but they picked things up very, very quickly, and were soon studying Maria’s research and moving into her field of study, with her guidance, of course. Unfortunately, Maria passed away peacefully in her sleep. This shattered poor Lori, who’d never learned to cope with such sadness and grief. It took them a month to so much as leave the house again, unable to face a world without their mother in it. Then, one day, whilst cleaning up around the house, they stumbled upon an old diary of Maria’s, from back when she was creating Lori. In it, she’d detailed all her plans, about who she’d wanted Lori to be and what impact they were going to have and how they were going to be her legacy. Lori decided she had to snap out of it and be the person that she wanted them to be. She managed to get a job as a biology lecturer in Freedom City University, and then set out to use their powers to be a superhero. Personality & Motivation: Lori is very optimistic and happy-go-lucky, to the point of being naïve. They make a habit of trying to be friends with everyone, and they believe very heavily in the idea of people being inherently good. However, this view can lead to them being too trusting, at times, and too willing to see redemption in those who have committed evil acts. Powers & Tactics: Lori tends to go for their Emotion Control first, if they are up against a singular foe, from a secluded spot. They’d much rather engage and get co-operation from anyone, rather than getting up in someone’s face for a fight. When up against multiple people at once, however, or if the Emotion Control doesn’t work, they’re willing to defend themselves. They prefer to use their Solid Slime form, especially against groups, due to the protection it offers, but they do have some options on their liquid form if defence isn’t cutting it, especially in a one-on-one. Power Descriptions: Their base body being green slime means that their two Alternate Forms are also green slime, one of them being more solid and hardening, and the other being more like a liquid. When they Morph from one non-base form to another, their body goes green for a moment before it changes to the new form. The Subtle nature of their Emotion Control and Mind Reading mean there are no visible tells at all when they’re using it. Complications: Rather Green for a Person: Lori’s natural body is a whole bunch of slime. They tend to stick to a human guise using Morph as much as possible, even when in costume, and they don’t like going directly from human to slime in front of people, which can come back to bite them – if they need to use their other powers with a lot of civilian witnesses, or if they get cut and start oozing green stuff rather than blood. Made for Love, not Hate: As a side effect of being so full of love, Lori isn’t equipped to handle certain emotions – Fear, anger and hatred, to name a few. They might not be able to think straight, or might even shut down completely, if made to feel those emotions strongly. Thin Logic: When Lori extends to very thin status (like squeezing through small gaps) it can cause them to lose a LOT of intelligence and get confused / moronic for a couple of minutes. They can still react but have a low single figure INT effectively. That Box is Looking at Me: All of Lori's Morphed forms have to have a face of some kind (eyes and a mouth, at least) on the outside. This is fine when they're changing into a human, but makes it harder to disguise as non-human things - especially inanimate objects - even if the face is hidden from immediate view. Any advice is appreciated.
  8. I'll take the miss and save my HP.
  9. Dammit! Rose had sensed the thing that was protecting the mystery assailant, but didn't have much time to dwell on it before her mind was flooded with.. that. That stuff. Weaponised nonsense flew through her head, and she could feel how it hurt. This was how they decided to attack, apparently. It's gonna be a weird, weird fight, she thought as she pulled her hand back and used her telekinesis to bolster her next punch, coating her hand in a golden aura and punching their chest as hard as she could to get through.. whatever the barrier was. Maybe this is overkill, considering it didn't stop the first punch, but better safe than sorry.
  10. "That's alright. I'm sure I'll be fine in a week or two." Again Rose smiled, still stretching her crushed hand as she spoke. "I haven't flown before, actually. I can't really fly. I can run super fast, I can jump high and I can slow my fall, but I can't quite fly yet. Hopefully with a little bit more practice I'll be able to." She answered. "If I had wings like that, I'm not sure I'd want to touch down any time soon, though." She added, trying to keep the conversation flowing. It would be nice to make a powerful friend or two whilst I'm here. It's lucky even the more intimidating looking heroes are all so friendly on their off days.
  11. Punch in the face: 27 (to be clear she's just using an unarmed attack and not either of her Strike powers)
  12. Yikes. Guess stealth is out the window. Rose stood up, dropping the illusion and staring straight at the mysterious stranger in front of her. She was mere inches away from a hiding spot, but she hadn't quite made it, so instead she stood there, staring them down. She was considering her plan of attack for a moment, factoring in how she doesn't know anything about their powerset besides mental powers of some sort, their behaviour, their attempted attack on her mind, the distance between them and a bunch of other things before throwing all of that and caution to the wind and running at them as fast as possible, trying to connect with a right hook across their face as she got in range.
  13. That was one hell of a lot creepier than I was expecting. What was creepier was the pounding on Rose's thoughts that came afterwards, but she concentrated and drove it off. It was only after the threat to her mind was gone that she let fear set in, blindsided by... well, that. She suddenly felt like she was in way over her head. I'm here, I better finish the job, she thought, dispelling her doubts as she considered her situation. Stealth seems to be out the window... unless.... just because their thoughts aren't there, doesn't mean I can't mess with their senses. She created an illusion of herself, visible only to him, in full costume, standing from her hiding spot and putting her hands on her hips in full on brash superhero mode. "Ha! Your pathetic mind meddling doesn't bother me! I am PSY STRIKE! The mind is my domain, not yours, and the night is safe as long as I stand firm against crime!" It shouted, giving Rose (hopefully) enough time to sneak around to a different position, where she could still them but wasn't being stared at.
  14. Will Save: 16 Yikes. Using a Hero Point to reroll that. Will Save V2: 27
  15. That was a new on Rose. Someone had locked away.. well, their whole mind. Maybe this isn't the mastermind either. Maybe this is just someone else taken by them. Or maybe they've just locked their mind away to stop anyone discovering who they are and what they're doing. Rose was intrigued, and decided to stay right where she was and watch what they were going to do next. If they've been messed with like everyone else, and their task is now impossible, I wonder what they're going to do. And if they haven't.. well, then they're going to lead me to a hideout of some sort, hopefully.
  16. Fortitude Save: 15 Stealth: 29 Mind Reading: 10
  17. Ha. Ha ha. It's way, way too late for not doing stupid things. Rose continued to survey the park, and eventually found exactly who she was looking for. Bingo! She watched as they looked around exactly where she expected them to, and she knew full well that this was the culprit. She quickly decided against rashly charging in, since her last rash decisions had raised the stakes far higher than they needed to be, and instead decided to just tail the person. She jumped down from her roof top, slowing her fall and trying to be as quiet as possible, and took up a hiding spot near to them. She then decided to try and scan their mind to see if she could find out where they were headed, or what exactly their plan was, before they started moving, and get a bit of a head start.
  18. As soon as she saw the texts she felt bad. She shouldn't have ran off, not from her job nor the cops, and now she was in trouble and Jamie was on his own. Unfortunately, now that she had some personal stake in tracking down whoever was doing this, she couldn't just go back and hope it would all blow over. I have to find out who did this. Then, hopefully, I can keep my job and my friend. She quickly text him back. Something came up. Sorry. Will be back before end of shift. She put her phone on silent after sending that, just in case, then turned her attention back to the park, watching to see if anyone was going to enter. The only person who's gonna enter the park at this time of night has to be the culprit. Right?
  19. This is not a good night, Rose thought to herself from the rooftop. She'd made herself suspect number one through a terrible error in judgement (she really shouldn't have given her real name and where she worked when trying to convince the cops to go away), and she'd lost her leads because they'd run away. The police are after the wrong person, and I'm stuck on this roof. I better sort this out before I lose my job, never mind my freedom. What I have right now is a safe place from the police up here, what a bunch of them look like, and the money they took. I could go look around for them, but I'll probably encounter cops. I could stay up here, but that doesn't solve anything. She started to pace back and forth, mulling over her options in her head. It wasn't long before something occurred to her. If the money was dropped under a brush, that means that someone will think it's there and go to pick it up. If I can see who goes looking for it.. I can find out who's behind it. She decided to try and get close enough to see where the money was dropped, hoping to maintain her vertical position in the process.
  20. Rose was a little more used to being shot than she wanted to be, but it still hurt. It was also alarming that one of the officers had immediately drawn a gun and shot at her rather than firing a warning shot. That really just confirmed that she'd made the right decision in trying to do a runner, which she was going to continue to try and do as fast as possible. If I get into a fight with the cops, they're gonna call backup until I end up dead. Or I'm gonna spend forever in a cell. Either way, running is preferable. She kept up her pace, hoping to not take any more bullets in the back as she did so. Or anywhere else, for that matter.
