Torpedo Lass II "I think it might be best for Sam to vent off on her own. Having another person get into her business might just exacerbate matters." She looked around. "And don't worry... if the administration is fine with me heading out to do some research for a geology class report on underwater formations on the continental shelf, I'm sure doing some gear maintenance is fine. With all the times we've been out getting into super powered entanglements lately we should have all been expelled." Mizuki shrugged. "Not that I want to test the patience of the administration. I always make sure I got a cover for my time outside. I mean if I rescue some boaters while doing some water samples for a report on PH values near Freedom City... I just call that creative multitasking, right?" "Almost makes me think they want us to have this whole 'double life' thing figured out..." She snaps out of it. "Oh sorry... right... Sam... To be honest we've been through..." she sighed. "A lot. Some of us are coping better than others. Could use some moment to bring the classes together and have some fun time before the school year ends. Hopefully this time no trouble finds us." "That... and some of us still need swimming lessons that I owe some assistance in... My work never ends..."

Torpedo Lass II "How about a small bus-sized vehicle that can dive to the bottom of the Challenger Deep with a minimum of 10 passengers onboard, equipped with a supercavitation drive for sea use, and for surface operation has deployable floats for added stability in any weather conditions, along with a micro-torpedo/missile system? With countermeasures, of course." She grinned. "Been thinking about something to transport the squad in, in case there is some sort of undersea extra-curriculars. But can float fully flooded, and well... be street legal." "Then again a small two-person submersible/car might be lovely." She said looking over to Lawrence. Then the thought crossed her mind... "CoVic, huh... Just another ocean to explore, space..."

Torpedo Lass II "No you don't!" Mizuki saw one of the drones moving in on Sever, and tossed a blue green ball of energy at it, before moving between him and it. She was prepared to get it's full attention while Sever tried to shake it off... hopefully. "Timeout, I don't think surrender or negotiation is an option with this game being played with us... it's fight or die!"

Well since on discord you noted a CdG wouldn't be possible for me, I'll just put myself between Sever and that drone and end my turn instead. It wants to stay in the fight after shrugging off a sphere shot, how about it fights someone at 100%?

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki was impressed by Rev's garage. She looked about for a moment ignoring the banter between Lawrence and Rev, more entranced by the tools and what was being worked upon... until she heard "Girlfriend." She straightened the white sailor collared jumpsuit she was wearing. "Girlfriend, and occasional lifeguard." She said with a wink. "But wow... this Garage?!? Off the dang chain!" "I mean, it's not like the maintenance hangar for a fighter jet... dad showed me one once on base... but this is... hooo." She held a finger up as if to pause a response. "And electric engines can rev too, if given enough power." She tilted her head slightly. "Cyborg or Android? Noticed the chrome."

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki was putting in some extra curricular work on her laptop, designing new concepts for costume variants for different mission profiles... but when she looked over the budgeting she was scratching her head for solutions. It caused enough frustration for her to close her laptop up and just head out of the dorms, with her costume on. A swim seemed like a good way to clear the head. But the sound of arguing changed her course and heading. She noticed Michael had just had yet another confrontation with Sam... a known quantity in the dorms. "Let me guess... unstoppable force met the immovable object?" Mizuki said, resting a hand on her hip. "Was thinking of hoppin' into the ol' Atlantic in a little bit to get to know the terrain a bit better. Or at least get familiar with sea currents offshore. Practice never hurt. Buuut... thought I'd check in on ya first. See if things are cool." She stretched noticing Vueriz. "Hi V. Didn't expect you'd be out and about. What's up?"

Been made aware there's a drone too close for comfort on Sever. So here's what is going to happen, gonna take 10 to hit said drone square in it's ugly face... or what looks like a face... using Phosphorescent Sphere. Then move into position to coup de grace Paradigm, but will be spending a HP to surge so I have a second attack action (being the coup de grace using a hull-breaking strikes).

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki sees the rest of her team head off into the fight, and something clicked in her head... something she remembered from a tactics seminar at Claremont... "Just as they wanted... defenders distracted." She thought. She turned to Lawrence. "I got your back. They try to get sneaky to try to get you I'll give 'em hell. Where you go, I go."

I have a theory... I believe that whatever is going on in regards to this masquerade, the target is Lawrence. Since I've stuck to Lawrence like glue, I will hold my action to use to protect Lawrence if something poses a threat. Covering fire, or preventing a flank.

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki looked over to Michael after Lawrence chimed in. The look on her face was one of both determination, and uncertainty. "We won't. But we need to know as much as we can first. Never go into a divesite blind. Know what major obstacles are there, as well as any hazards. Same with going to a parallel dimension. Just the stakes can be potentially over our heads." "Knowledge is power." She looked over to Lawrence before he left. "If you can, get what intel you can gather on The Shadow Academy. I'll see if anyone at Claremont has any info they're willing to tell a Sophmore..." The Adults at Claremont are well meaning, wanting to keep their students out of harm's way... but they should know by now that's a fool's hope. "We can compare notes... Maybe at lunch together?"

Torpedo Lass II "After what happened at the Theater? Heck and Yeah! Just not around here I don't think there's a Taco Truck for at least a mile of this place." Mizuki said to Consuelo. Grinning. Mizuki stretched out. "Then I need to do some research on this 'shadow academy' Eclipse was talking about." "They're 0 for 2 against us... they're gonna be sore about it looking to run it back. Knowledge would be power."

Torpedo Lass II "Theory... what if whatever is up there is teleporting enemies known to be a challenge to the current standing Freedom League? Or perhaps as a group that KNOWS potential weaknesses?" She straightens out her suit... "If I was whoever directed us into what is looking more an more like an isolated bubble of time, I'd make sure if there was something I was looking for, I'd have the tools needed to get my quarry." "When hunting capes... send high grade threats to counter." She adjusted the sailor collar of her costume. "I'm not one to claim any expertise on the situation, of course."

Torpedo Lass II As she's healed she hesitated for a moment to tell Lawrence about what happened during the fight. There were some details to bring up though. "What happened was a knock-down, drag out brawl with Eclipse and some Dragon." "But there's another interesting little tidbit... The Shadow Academy. Heard of them? Apparently they exist. And if they know of the Star, they may come calling to reclaim it. They seem like really bad dudes."

Torpedo Lass II "I'd consider that crystal a biohazard..." She said. "We need to get some... well adults who know how to handle 'the one ring' without getting tainted by it. As for Paradox if he was going to show, he would have showed by now. Thing is that crystal repairing itself closed that portal. I think destroying that thing... is a bad idea. Like... opening Pandora's box bad." She started to get her wits about her at this point. "Not sure how good cell service is here... but we might have to call in to Claremont and have them put out feelers for capes who could safely deal with this." "And probably get chewed out for doing hero stuff off campus... but at this point I wager they'd know we're gonna do it anyways, we are sorta stuck in..."

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki was right behind Lawrence. "I got a feeling if we're gonna survive this, the others are right, we're gonna have to stick together. We'd have a better chance of taking something big on as a group." Her stomach groaned a little. Annoying Mizuki... seems breakfast was skipped before all this. "We can worry about what happens after, when the time comes."

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki lept from her position, twisting mid-air tossing a bluish-green ball of energy that whallops one of the flying drones harassing Baz. "Heads up!" When she lands she looks to Lawrence. "Got your back..." "...and if these guys are here at this point in time... I think the timeline is already compromised, or this isn't our home... we might be marooned here."

Going to throw a Phosphorescent Sphere at one of the hovering drones above Baz. Taking 10 to hit. I'm going to do this while leaping over to Lawrence, to help watch his back (Move-by action).

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki leaned on a rail near the front of the stage of the theater. Still light headed from the experience. What was worse was the flashback... She looked back at Eclipse, and realized during that outburst... she thought she was fighting SeaWolf. She puked. Hard... All that trauma hit her in a moment... then just as quickly faded like the contents of her stomach. After getting her composure and wiping her mouth she looked to the others. "My god... Roll call... everyone good?" She wasn't good though... far from it. Although she remembered there was someone at school on staff that could help... but right now... "Once we reunite with Lawrence's squad... we should see if we should aid in assisting helping any bystanders caught up in all this."

Torpedo Lass II Mizuki moved through the rubble of the once glorious theater, through the damaged ceiling, a leaping shadow into the air, only her blue-green eyes and her right hand balled into a fist could be seen. Then just as quickly as she lept she landed, putting her whole body into a punch that could only be described as violence personified. A burst of green energy exploded from her hand, and it seemed she threw several punches into Eclipse's chest, the force of the blows knocking away what remaining dust was in the area, shards of theater, and other things away in a bluish-green nebula of force that could only be described as "extraordinary". In the end, Mizuki was gasping, still feeling the effects of being drained... but Eclipse... was out cold, face up. Mizuki staggered to her feet. "See you punk... That's 2 L's Claremont just handed your squad."
