  1. Past hour
  2. Okay, DC 31 toughness save (due to the auto crit): 23, Nope, she is out cold. (Is actually a 25, as I forgot she is slightly toughness shifted, but didn't matter anyway, still out)
  3. Great. He is gonna go for it then
  4. Actually, yes, you are correct, you can use the tail to deliver the coup de grace as a full round action then (using your +11 STR bonus)
  5. Or your Telekenesis, or blast
  6. Today
  7. Shooting Star Alice frowned as Tun described her own demise as matter of factly as someone discussing the weather. A sapient being forced to compete with others for the attention of their masters or starve was... Disgusting. Still there wasn't much she could do about it now, except play along to make sure Tun didn't starve in the meantime. But she did have one more question... "Are you happy with your life, Tun?" After receiving her answer she turned and walked over to the cage, running her finger over the edge of one of her chips. The story, the best way to progress was to tell a good story... Well best to start with something suitably dramatic. She turned to Tun, a winning smile on her features. "I'd like to fight. I'll bet everything I've got."
  8. In dragon form his tail should grants him Improved Grapple (Extra limb) right? If that doesn't work yeah he is just gonna squeeze
  9. So, looking at the build for the dragon, you would need the Improved Grapple feat to be able to deliver a coup de grace yourself while maintaining your grapple (which is a free action) or to use the rending claw to attack her. But, you can apply damage by just squeezing her (ie doing your +11 strength bonus in damage for a DC 26 toughness save)
  10. If I remember well, Luke can't coup de grace someone he is grappling right? If that's correct, and he can't he is gonna try and take down Mindfire (hopefully) with his Rending Claws, should be an auto hit Mindfire is grappled by him so the DC 26 Tou, Damages + Drain Toughness (DC 19).
  11. GM Shift manages to knock the Legion standing next to Visor off her feet and sending her flying backward a short distance. The moment Shift struck that Legion, another duplicate appeared next to Visor, ready to join the melee. Visor watched as thing continued to go worse for his team, focusing up on where Nightscale was still holding Mindfire, he fired another powerful beam of energy at the dragon. The blast stuck Nightscale squarely in the torso, causing some damage, but not putting him out of the fight. Meanwhile, Star Khan looked over to where the Legion Shift had hit landed. "Interesting." He commented, flying over towards the downed Legion. "You appear to be the source of these duplicates. So dealing with you should deal with them all." He said as he tried to punch the dazed Legion. However, at the last moment she managed to roll to the side, so Star Khan's powerful punch only grazed her. But it was enough to cause yet another duplicate to pop into existence nearby. Up in the air, Mindfire manage to turn so she could see Nightscale from where he held her in his claw. "Time to burn!" She yelled as psychic flames formed around the dragon, causing excruciating pain as the telekinetic force tried to fully grab ahold of him. But the dragon was able to pull free from the psychic energy, even as it cause a bit more damage, still maintaining his hold on Mindfire in the process.
  12. Okay, going to work on my GM post. (Star Khan's hit on Legion created another duplicate as well, as he failed to knock her out). Updated Order/Status: Round Four 26 Paper 3 HP (unharmed) 25 Stormcrow 6 HP (unharmed) 19 Shadowborne 2 HP (bruised 2) 18 Ghule 2 HP (injured 2) 16 Sureshot (unharmed, bound and helpless) 16 Multi-Girl 1 HP (bruised x2) 15 Legion (unharmed x5 / one near Visor staggered, bruised, daze, prone / one near Ghule bruised 2 / one near Ghule, bruised x3, prone / one near Ghule bruised x3, prone / 1 near SC bruised 2, staggered, prone) 13 Shift 0 HP (injured 2) 10 Visor (bruised x2) 10 Star Khan (unharmed) 10 Mindfire (unharmed, -2 toughness drain (round 3), bound and helpless) 9 Nightscale 4 HP (bruised 4) Nightscale is up (and still has ahold of Mindfire) @Nerdzul
  13. 25 that fails by one, that bruises are stacking up... 32 Fails the grapple check with a 4 ofc... Rerolling with the hero point 33 but with the +10 for the hero point for rolling a 5 it gets to 43 and so is a success
  14. Yes, that it is. Let's see if Mindfire can make a Concentration roll: 22 she does. She will use her Perception Telekinesis (Move Object) to grapple Nightscale: she gets a 37. As it is Damaging, that is also a DC 26 toughness save. @Nerdzul
  15. The Dreamer The Dreamer's expression changed little when the note was shown, just a slight pursing of her lips and a fire entering her eyes. The dreams that had previously been wistfully frolicking around froze for a moment before crowding around The Dreamer, themselves seeming ready to leap into action as she spoke. "I will not stand by while someone is in danger. I am coming with you Rex."
  16. Do I roll Strength then?
  17. 23 For Nitghtscale, I guess it's another bruise for him, ouch
  18. So the Doktor's plan is to fly up to one of the Sarcota, cling onto its neck/head, and use his "internalized electromagneti screwdriver" as an advanced MRI, to get a scan on the critter's brain, hopefully determining a] if they're of animal intelligence or have sapient thoughts, and b] what sort of stimuli they respond to/how to communicate with them. Game terms, this would be a Mind Reading and Super-Senses (Mental Awareness) effect, and maybe some Knowledge (Behavioral Sciences), Knowledge (Life Sciences), and/or Sense Motive rolls.
  19. Torpedo Lass II "Well, considering I've been starting to design different costumes for different missions... search and rescue... basic heroing... recreational... oceanographic research... stealth... I could come up with a drysuit design for ya. Also what's your weight in water? If all that tech makes you more an anchor than a cork, might design with neutral buoyancy in mind." She scratched her chin. "Did get my SCUBA certs before getting my powers. Made my life so much easier... helps I know what basic materials I need." "And yeah... I wager having even a small sub for two... might be a bit expensive. Outside my allowances that's for sure." She turned to Lawrence. "Unless your folks' previous escapades led them to confiscating a cute little sub for us... Certain Rev could look over the internals to make sure it still goes too."
  20. Yesterday
  21. Sure Starshot will go along - taking 10 (skill mastery) for a 20 pilot check.
  22. Sure. Could you roll an opposed power check vs 15 to wrench the windows open? (they are reinforced). Or extra effort we can waive that and you can just crack open a hole as you wish
  23. Okay, so we take the failure to require max calibration. What's the target for the roll? (The way I roll, I may be using the HP we just got. :p)
  24. GM Star Khan regarded the scene before them as he listened to Doktor Archeville's makeshift plan. "That seems the most viable plan at the moment." He responded in a agreement before flying as fast as he could down toward the Xeno to drop Starshot off to get the spacecraft airborne once more. Then the young Zultasian quickly climbed back up to where the Sarcota were starting to swarm towards the edge of the field of solar collection arrays. He took a moment to study the group as Starshot got the Xeno airborne, looking for the best means of trying to guide the somewhat chaotic swarm of massive creatures the direction they wanted them to go. "I will start with some low powered blasts on the Sarcota on the lower left side, trying to direct them inward and up. Starshot should use the Xeno to try and do the same on the right side. We need to keep them together and get them to want to depart the atmosphere back into space."
  25. Okay, sorry for letting this idle for so long. For my GM post, Star Khan is going to try Kn: Tactics to get an idea how to best try to "herd" the Sarcota: bad roll, but still a 22 @Supercape If Starshot is going to follow along with the ideas from Star Khan, give me a piloting check, otherwise, le me know what he might want to do. @Dr Archeville Doc, let me know what Archeville is planning to do.
  26. Okay, as Shift hits the Legion over near Visor and knocks her down, another duplicate appears. Getting the order back up for convenience. Round Four 26 Paper 3 HP (unharmed) 25 Stormcrow 6 HP (unharmed) 19 Shadowborne 2 HP (bruised 2) 18 Ghule 2 HP (injured 2) 16 Sureshot (unharmed, bound and helpless) 16 Multi-Girl 1 HP (bruised x2) 15 Legion (unharmed x4 / one near Visor staggered, dazed, prone / one near Ghule bruised 2 / one near Ghule, bruised x3, prone / one near Ghule bruised x3, prone / 1 near SC bruised 2, staggered, prone) 13 Shift 0 HP (injured 2) 10 Visor (bruised x2) 10 Star Khan (unharmed) 10 Mindfire (unharmed, -2 toughness drain (round 3), bound and helpless) 9 Nightscale 5 HP (bruised 2) Visor will shot an energy blast at Nightscale, hitting with a 28. So DC 26 toughness save for Nightscale @Nerdzul (don't forget your two bruises, and you have lots of HPs) Star Khan will move over to the Legion Shift just knocked down and try to knock her out, because of the +4 to hit for her now being prone, he will power attack -4 atk/+4 dam: He hits with a 27, DC 33 toughness save for Legion: 29!, so she only takes a bruise. Will wait to for Mindfire's action to see how Nightscale fairs on his toughness save.
  27. GRIMALKIN Inside, the shapeshifter winced, instantly aware of her misstep; what sounded charming in her head instead made the young girl wary. You're such a showoff, Lynn. Gotta go for the big entrance, even if it's not the best play. First impressions, and all that. Lynn nodded and sighed. "Yeah, I'm friends with your dad. And sometimes I try too hard." She gestured around with one hand, taking in all the bookshelves and vintage posters on the walls. "Welcome to my family's bookstore! Your dad tells me your quite the reader; what kind of books do you like to read?"
  28. As Aquaria ascended to the skies above the house, the stillness of the salt air hung around her. Up here, the desert was tranquil, save for the light night winds. She could still smell the salt rime clinging in the air, but in between the notes of filth from the polluted sea below. Even the smell of dead fish was not the great reward of a whalefall, but the noxious hint of a poisoned feast. A desecration that teased with notes of false promise, like a glass of water held on the other side of the prison bars. The rasp was so distant, she mistook it for the breeze. But soon, it was undeniable - a death rattle, like a corpse in reverse, slowly rearing back to life. Distant, and not growing louder, but definitely growing clearer... Inside the house, Nick Cimitiere and Artificer heard something different - the distant sound of police sirens. "Here I thought this place would be desolate..."
