Thevshi
EP, could you give me a Sense Motive roll for Queenie please. Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
She can hit 22 with Skill Mastery. Would I need more than that? Link to comment
Thevshi
Nope, that is good enough. Link to comment
Thevshi
Lets have a Notice check to try to determine where the roar came from. Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
http://orokos.com/roll/374572 Well, that was a terrible roll. 14. Link to comment
Thevshi
Well, not good, but good enough to not be surprised. Lets go with initiative rolls please. Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
http://orokos.com/roll/377017 Well. Rolled a 19 for a 21 result. A fine roll. A fine one. Link to comment
Thevshi
Round One21 Queenie (unharmed, 1 HP)17 Creature (unharmed)13 Seresk (unharmed)9 Paradigm (unharmed, 3 HP) 6 Magnetar (unharmed) Queenie is up! Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
In that case, let's go with a Create Object snaring. Not a Snare, but a snaring. Yes. http://orokos.com/roll/377038 Of course, a 15 isn't going to hit too many things, alas. Link to comment
Thevshi
The creature misses its Reflex check by a mile. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, the creature is going to try to break out of the force cage. DC 27 toughness save for the construct. The force cage gets a 16 for its toughness save, so it is disabled (ie badly damaged). Link to comment
Thevshi
Round Two21 Queenie (unharmed, 1 HP)17 Creature (unharmed)13 Seresk (unharmed)9 Paradigm (unharmed, 3 HP) 6 Magnetar (unharmed) Nothing for Magnetar to do (and no point in a short post for him), so back to Queenie. EternalPhoenix
Well, the plan is to keep it trapped if at all possible and use the Selective power feat to let the other three hit it. Link to comment
Thevshi
You can use your action to repair the damage to the force structure and set it for selective. Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
Yes, that is exactly what I want to do. Link to comment
Thevshi
Well, no rolls are needed, so you can go ahead with a post. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, the creature will use the full round action to break out of the force construct. With its added superstrength, that is over a DC 30 toughness save, which the construct is assumed to roll a 5 on (for a 15), so it shatters. Seresk will then step up to attack, 18, which just hits. But the creature just makes its toughness save with a 27. Paradigm will then fly up to attack, missing with a 12. Then Magnetar will attack, hitting with a 20. The creature easily shakes it off with a 32 on its toughness save. Round Three21 Queenie (unharmed, 1 HP)17 Creature (unharmed)13 Seresk (unharmed)9 Paradigm (unharmed, 3 HP) 6 Magnetar (unharmed) Back to Queenie. Link to comment
EternalPhoenix
Queenie will straight up attack with her Blast. http://orokos.com/roll/379589 And because orokos despises all of my PCs who aren't Terrifica, I will roll a 1. Sigh. Link to comment
Thevshi
Waiting on an IC post EP. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, the creature is going to attack Seresk, as he managed to hit it. It misses by a mile with a 9. Seresk will attempt to grapple it, hitting with a 24. He gets a 48 on his grapple check. The creature gets a 34, which means it is pinned, bound and helpless. He will apply his strength for damage, it gets a 23 so picks up a bruise. As it is helpless, Paradigm will deliver a coup-de-grace, which automatically hits and is a critical hit. The creature gets a 30 on its toughness save vs DC 37, so is dazed and bruised again. It still must make a fort save (DC 27) to avoid being knocked out, and it only gets a 17. So, it is down. EternalPhoenix
http://orokos.com/roll/389992 That is a 25 on the grapple attack roll with move object. Since I don't have accurate on that, instead I'll just use Blast Edited April 7, 2016 by EternalPhoenix Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, the melee fighter makes his toughness save, and gets a 9, so he is out. Link to comment
