I don't hate Yolo. Because, I didn't hate Carpe diem. And if you really want to seize the day. Might as well get saying it out of the way even quicker.
  • Ecalsneerg
... oh god you just made Yolo perfectly logical
  • You monster

His name is, in certain legal senses, Captain Wales
  • Raveled
    So he's a superhero.
  • Ecalsneerg
    Wales could do worse?
  • Avorez
Captain Wales! Beating those Ratzis with phlegm and a dragon flag! Captain Wales! When Captain Britian can't help, get the one who talks funnier than Captain Scotland, and is even more obnoxious than Captain Northern Ireland! CAPTAIN WALES, AWAAAAAAAAAAAY!

HG Morrison enjoyed Fury Road, but didn't feel it was a great or anything. It was pretty good though!

Cabochard
I agree with HG

Gizmo
That's fine, you can be wrong together.

HG Morrison
We can and will!

Cabochard
Sounds good to me!

Gizmo
But not great or anything?

Cabochard
yep

  • Almilee  Paragon v. Paragon has got to be fun to watch.
  • just two people throwing each other through buildings and breaking bridges
  • Ecalsneerg  Almilee> One Incursion thread was Paragon vs two Paragons and a Brick
  • Almilee  that sounds both amazing and terrifying
  • Ecalsneerg  Although the mechanics of knockback mean stuff tends not to get trashed
As powerhouses and bricks can soak up the massive punches without going flying
  • Gizmo Well, less a brick and more of a...
  • Almilee if my Paragon ever gets made, I want her to go up against an alternate universe version of herself someday, just to see how much they can smash while trying to smash each other.

Frost's shoulder devil whispers "Pick up the ax and see what happens!"
  • ShaenTheBrain
    The answer is "Not much."
    Avenger Assembled
  • Frost's shoulder devil mostly wants to see him get hit by lightning.
"What about your shoulder angel, Dimitri?" "My what now?"
  • Cabochard

    Avenger Assembled
  • Well that's why he needs friends to steer him towards more healthy pursuits!
    ShaenTheBrain
  • They'd be all "OMG, how could you just disintegrate him like that?" and she'd be like "DUH, undead MONSTER, HELLO?!" and then they'd be all "Don't be hatin'!" and she'd be like "Bitches, PLEASE, y'all HELLA BASIC" and it'd be this whole THING.
    Avenger Assembled
  • The Freedom League would have been terribly broken up about Dimitri, just terribly, I'm sure.

@Twisted Mortal > I would drop Split Attack, since it's very unwieldy and underpowered for damage effects, and use an alternate power to make an area attack instead: Damage 2(Extras: Area[Burst, Targetted], Selective, Flaws: Action[Full-Round], Distracting, Feats: Mighty 3) [5PP]
you still pay the same, but this one allows you to attack everyone you want with your melee attack within 10ft of your character, at the cost of taking an entire Full Round action to perform, instead of a standard action, and it leaves you distracted
yes
i went there
act surprised
:P

Remember DrArcheville, the previous owner of the site?

"In time, you will know what it is to learn. To cling to ignorance so desperately, yet be taught all the same. Dread it, run from it...Librarians still arrive." "'Fun' isn't something one considers when educating the universe...but this...does put a smile on my face."

AriToday at 8:45 PM

Glad he's having a time!

And yeah Grumble Legacy's distinctly disappointing. Largely because it's this grab-bag of stuff from various Crises, Squadron Supreme, Watchmen, Civil War, etc, but it hits that wall of "You cannot just create decades of reader investment in dozens of pages" hard. At least Superbia got around that with the romantic soap-opera angle.

GrumblefloofToday at 8:54 PM

Never heard of Superbia. How does it compare with Noble Causes on the superhero-soap-opera front?

Wait, if Thanos is in the Next Generation universe, that gauntlet would be POWERLESS. The Infinity stones only work in the universe they were made/they created...

AriToday at 9:09 PM

It's a lot smaller scale, and basically Squadron Supreme but with bad home lives instead of a ruined Earth and so on. DC analogues with a twist and all, though luckily the Batman/Robin thing is between two consenting adults of roughly similar age.

GrumblefloofToday at 9:10 PM

Maybe it's the Enterprise that's in the MCU, Sailor.

Tiffany KortaToday at 9:11 PM

SylinatorToday at 9:38 PM

Wait, diabetic coma??

GrumblefloofToday at 9:38 PM

He's kidding, Syl

Dr ArchevilleToday at 9:38 PM

That was a joke. My diabetes is under control! Until they jack up the price on my meds...

TheAbsurdistToday at 9:39 PM

They will.

Dr ArchevilleToday at 9:40 PM

And I'm very happy to see Freedom City Play by Post is still alive in kicking, in some form or another.
