Okay, our OOC thread. Just to provide some info relevant to the current discussions, it has been a bit difficult learning about Spectrum Knight technology, as captured armor has always self-destructed. But, it has been determined that Spectrum Knight armor is a heavily modified version of Star Knight armor. In some cases it appears to have been Star Knight armor that has somehow been commandeered, in others just a modified copy. In both cases the armor appears to be powered by tapping into the Zero Zone.

Ya know lets speed things along a bit DC 30 sense motive/Bluff To figure out she's hiding that they lost a star attraction (Ace) not so long ago.

If only Riley or Raina is there I'll edit tags. Anyone with danger sense ought have it tingling. DC 25 Notice Checks to see a more organized subset of the protesters seem to be moving purposely through the crowd a few rows back pacing the claremonters as they walk the line.

Nothing special there. If you want to name Rivera's team members, you go for it. She has five, when normally she'd have a bit more than that. She's PL6, and her team is PL5. Brigitte's Stealth check with Skill Mastery means both Mark and Nina would have to roll 20s to spot her, if either knew she was there to begin with. The plan is, as discussed in chat, for Nina to intervene at the last second and prevent the assassination. My second post will have Ms. Zhang's arrival and Brigitte pulling the trigger. And then things'll get rolling properly.

This is the OOC. Feel free to ask me quite literally anything about the thread, especially if it doesn't make sense. I've likely missed something. For the record, the store isn't that big inside. It's a storefront kind of place, just your average sized jewelry shop. There are five Customers, and three Store Staff (including the injured man). Four of the Customers and all of the Store Staff are Bystanders and thus PL0 as far as combat goes. However, there currently is nothing to separate the Customer that isn't from the ones that are Bystanders. The injured man is behind the counter, but the rest are pressing against the far wall and each other. The Lions...well...for now that'd be telling. However the ones carrying the jewelry are Minions. The one menacing the Bystanders is not. He's not about to attack them, just keeping them at bay and from getting any Heroic ideas. One last thing. This scene is meant to be Miracle Girl's show. Terrifica isn't supposed to appear until the end of it, but if it looks like she's having trouble the supergenius will appear early. All that AND an extra Hero Point to start, because this is complicated mess of a situation.
