  1. Toughness saves! First 1d20+13 (15-2 from bruises) = 20 Second 1d20+13 (15-2 from bruises) = 21
  2. So my latest obsession is ludonarrative Layers. the idea behind this character is something akin to what gwenpool has going on, they wake up finding themselves in a universe that is fictional in their own, through not exactly the same. the characters traits represent that whilst they're "more real" than the universe they're currently in, they're not beyond the reach of its rules, he is a human so he needs to eat, sleep and breath as humans in his native reality do, he can be affected by poisons and damage but as the sources of these are less real in this world they're less effective against him, his words are accordingly more true, akin to zatanna's backwards speak he can alter reality by talking, but the universe already has its own narratives and story going on and resists or outright refuses his attempts to change it. (the latter will be a complication to just nix anything he tries due to the nature of variables) Other than that, i see them as just being a nice person with all the normal hang ups around messing with reality and normal human intelligence and awareness, he's not got the fine control of a surgeon with a scalpel. 3. Moon-moth grumbled as a painful fragment of a energy blast refracted through his barrier singed his fluffy shoulder, he drew himself aloft into the air, angling his wiry frame above the chaos below, whilst this made him easy pickings, his sightlines were vastly improved. he unleashed terrible power from his eyes, carving a glyph into the sky with lines of prismatic light a great eye that sprung to animated life, casting its blazing gaze upon the hanger, filling their minds with an overload of guilt and regret to flood their neurons with decades of misdeeds and pinning them in place, much like butterflies in a display case.
  4. gonna stunt up a megamove to goonsweep like its going out of style gonna fly up to give me the best view of the battlefield and then Paralysis 10 ("Unlidded Eyes of Judgement"; Magic, law; Extras: Area: Perception, Selective Attack) [40pp] I believe that's a DC20 Will save (staged) for anyone who can see me(?) except friends of moth of course who are excluded from the effect.
  5. DC20 Will save for moon-moth 1d20+10=21 woohoo DC23 toughness save 1d20+15=21 -1 for injury for a total of 20

  7. So here goes nothing once more! Concept is for a brain in the jar type character (his jar doesn't come off, nor is is possible to open it to get at his delicious neural taffy so no worries there) Whom thanks to advanced stupidity managed to hook himself up to a nanite printing factory and build himself and it into a life model decoy esque body for him but can also use it as a foundation for various other forms via shapeshift limited to machines. Name comes from his first experiments with this that turned him into a combination satellite/butterfly amalgamation and became his favorite form. still working out the finer details but what i got so far is here for peering and prodding at. Mechamorpho Power Level: Unspent Power Points: 0 Trade-Offs: Varies In Brief: 1-2 sentences which sum up the whole character. If your character wouldn't fit in an episode of Justice League Unlimited, The Dresden Files, or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you'll need to rethink it. When in doubt, ask a Staff Member.) 8. Moon-moth eyes watched the battle unfold in their eerie unblinking nature, his vastly intelligent and utterly alien mind turning the situation over in his head. he was barely aware of the telepathic assault launched against him, it had blunted on his hardened will, shattering like glass thrown against stone. "Poor choice of opponent." he said calmly to the telepath that had picked him out as with a flick of his wrist he sent one of the assault craft parked in the hanger careening over towards his partner telepath that had attacked the swift terran. rather than wasting his energies on this one it would be more gainful to support velocipede so they could work unhindered at thinning the herd. "Moth is the Fluffiest Praetorian!" he bellowed, his boastful battlecry filled with unyielding willpower "you are as sand before me! Coarse! Rough! Everywhere!"
  9. Oki! first things first will save vs mental blast! 1d20+10=20 Right on the money I think Moth will use his Move object 18 to throw one of the small craft in the hanger towards the telepath and any backup dancers close enough that pinged Velocity and manuver away from the main group to avoid being exquisite AOE bait Assuming the craft is big enough to be an AOE but if you need an attack roll i can make one! Moth is in a weird PL10.5/11 place so ill leave the DC to your discretion
  10. "Portal calculations complete." moth announced, holding the spinning construct of twisted space between his hands. "Myothizar is familiar with most modern standardized ship layouts, starboard hanger is optimal point for both blunting the offense and penetrating the defenses of this vessel, though it is also the best place for the enemy to bring their numbers to bear against a boarding action most effectively." he reasoned Nodding to travelers request "Lanternians is slow and clumsy fliers, moth will be more effective in the belly of the beast." with that he looses his spell causing space to fold back like a kaleidoscopic iris, layers of time and distance fishtailing and folding along vectors of relativity and waves of gravity. "let us be swift as the stellar winds of lantern and sweep them away."
  11. "ah beans, this is not good." moon-moth stated matter of factly as he scratched the top of his head, unmoving, unblinking eyes moving as he tilted his head left and right like an owl. "Moth shall begin portal network establishment immediately, please relay co-ordinates to moth and explanations to Passangers." he spoke both to the Terran heroes and his fellow Praetorians. "Maths is astronomical so has a variable of movement and the wormhomes distortion, Time and relative dimensions in space, carry the three, honour the holy ordos...." he mumbled to himself as he pressed his hands together, antenna moving in precise motions in sync with his hands. Maths is hard
  12. Moon-Moth sympathized in a way, mating rituals were difficult times the universe over, but it was no reason to go inflicting your hormones on everyone around you. He remained quiet during the back and forth banter between the various groups and independents present, it was unwise for a being so...unskilled at galstandard to communicate in this tense situation. "If needs musts myothizar can scry for his locations, but given his ranges of movement it would be bests to avoid casting such a wide ranging spells, lest ripples in the aether draw unbidden attentions from things best left ignorant."
  13. This was gonna be one of those cycles it seemed. "Perhaps when we find where the cosmos is hiding it's matchsticks and it stops trying to burn itself down." Moth mumbled in response to travellers offer His observation of the man who would be Khan lead him to believe he was earnest about his intentions at least. Perhaps it was his harsh youth, thankfully romanticism and heroism were the better outcomes of hard life's, more so than cruelty and despair anyway. Ths was not gonna be Juffo-wup.
  14. "To struggle is to live, peace and repose are of the grave." Moon-Moth mumbled without pretense "that our troubles were less...enormous and had less wide reaching consequences would be pleasant however indeed." He admitted as he stroked his antenna back into a more formal arrangement. The coalition council was always a stressful thing for myothizar, with its noise and fury, it's diversity made it strong but also cacophonous and discordantly loud with it's frictions between member worlds "After this, I think I will return to my meditations for a few weeks."
